Vetiver Incenso

I had this perfume as one of my first niche bottle. Absolutely love it that when they said they discontinue this one, I stock for another bottle. Very good for the price and the quality and ingredients is absolutely top notch and it's been my signature perfume for awhile. This perfume is very smoky at first, but not intense smoky, somehow more dark and seductive incense. You can also smell vetiver at this stage before veviter dominating more when coming to lower note and base. It's a dark and tone down vetiver, very earthy. Very sexy and seductive but also musculine. The scent is unique and can catch good noses but also not offensive to others. I would use this one on special meeting or night date. I've also noticed some said that this smell exactly like Terrer d'Hermes. I've used the parfums version and I don't see any familiarity in the scent between two except for the vetiver which Hermes is more green/strong and spa like while this one's vetiver is transformed into something more dark and mysterious vetiver. Anyways, sad to hear they discontinued this. An absolute masterpiece. 10/10.

A dry, dark mix of smoky and grassy elements, which provides a bolder alternative to churchy fragrances like Cardinal and Encens Roi. Comparisons with Terre de Hermes are odious; if anything, this recalls Heeley's Vetiver Veritas, both in terms of quality and satisfaction. It doesn't linger for very long, but that only spurs you to seek out more ...

Got a small decant of this and loved it straight away, so much so that I didn't take much time to think about what it reminded me of. I looked around and saw how expensive a full bottle was and was taken aback and slightly disappointed that it was beyond justifiable in my world, so I contented myself with enjoying my decant. Second wearing and it hit me in the face....Terre d'Hermes straight up and down. Perhaps slightly more emphasis on the chief notes of vetiver and incense, but the difference is negligible. I came here, read the few reviews there were and sure enough, they're supportive of my realisation. As Alfarom said, why pay such an exorbitant price for this (despite it still being a very decent scent), when you can buy Terre at a far more reasonable price. Even the TdH Pure Perfume, which I prefer, is still far cheaper. I'll stick with that one methinks!

This is like a creamy version of Terre d'Hermes, very interesting and it has a great scent clould. Last all day and you keep walking in your own scent cloud when you go in a store after 4 hrs and walk around just browsing but there it is and at first you think wow someone smells good, familiar but good and then you realize you walked in your own scent cloud which does happen often, to me just a couple of times and of the top of my head can remember I had similar experience with Dior Dune.

When I heard of this release I couldn't contain my excitement. Vetiver and incense together sounded like heaven. I started to fantasize about a stark, rooty/resiny/mossy concoction of woods but... What a big letdown. Vetyver Incenso is Terre D'Hermes, no more no less. Would you pay 280 euros for Terre? Smells fine but it's a total rip-off. Get the original. Rating: 5.5-6/10
