Insomnia

I'm glad to be the first one that shares some words here about Insomnia by Faviol Seferi. In in a short - Insomnia is great night out powerful scent, perfect for clubbing, going to a bar, having date and so on. The key words here are - seductive spicy vanilla, creamy woody vibe, bold dark chocolate type of patchouli and amazing aged rum / bourbon whiskey accord. To me, Insomnia is unique fragrance, because it got seductive and alluring character, but it doesn't smell too sweet or overwhelming in gourmand direction. In Insomnia I feel very well blended notes, like they are talking to each other and the result is stunning. I'm sure people who love spicy rum aroma will gone mad this scent. But the good thing is the complexity is sill there. The creamy woody accords are prominent from the start till the end of it's scent life. So, people who are looking at the pyramid and thinking: "Oh wow! This will be amazing sweet and gourmand scent!" will be partly disappointed. To me, Insomnia is not true gourmand fragrance, despite all the yummy notes. I also sense some spices like cinnamon, but it's softly input. You know when you smell quality glass of aged rum or bourbon whisky - you can smell the spicy vanilla, the cinnamon, the sweet/caramel aspect. In Insomnia is the same and that's why I love it. Nothing artificial of cheap Tonka Bean smelling. The performance is great - all day longevity with powerful projection. I know some people are interested - how close Insomnia is to Black Phantom By Kilian. Well, I think they both got something common, but they have some clear differences as well. I don't consider Insomnia as a copy of Black Phantom in any meaning. The similarity between them is giving me the right to tell only if someone likes one of them, there is a big chance to like the other one too. But they got differences for sure. Black Phantom is more focus on chocolate-gourmand-nutty aspect and Insomnia is more thick and dark, focused on woody-boozy aroma. When I think of Black Phantom I think of the perfect and amazing piece of Tiramisu, but when I think of Insomnia, I think of top quality glass of Rum. In conclusion - Insomnia is a great night out scent, that will make your night adventures more juicy :) It will got compliments for you for sure.

👀😋🤗 This is the funny story: The perfume came just in time for presents of St. Nicolas - people in Europe will know what I talk about. St. Nicolas (in USA Santa Claus), who has his nameday on 6 Dec, brings presents to children at the Eve of his nameday - on 5 Dec. So I came into the office in the morning, and I just found a little dark chocolate stick filled with chocolate-rum filling on my table, together with the package, which contained this perfume. The little chocolate originated from our boss, never mind. But the coincidence 😁🤭!!! The notes you feel when you spray this perfume, are just the same: dark bitter chocolate, boozy rum, aromatic coffee. Something what reminds me of Black Opium and its flankers. Just way more sophisticated and more professional. In fact, it was so yummy, that my empty stomach started to protest - so I ate that chocolate stick right away 😁. As the perfume dries down, you smell a sweet caramely caffe latte, with lots of milk. The rum and coffee are now somewhere in the background, the milk, vanilla and caramel came forward. OK, if a concentrate a lot at sniffing my wrist, I still detect a chocolate. Somewhere. A bit of cedar peeping through. Sandalwood and patch not detectable, but this overal depth of the caffe latte is definitely there. If you are experienced enough, you know it must be the woods. All in all, it is blended beautifully. And it was a blind buy. And I even do not know Killian's Black Phantom. But I know Killian as a House - it is one of my favourite houses anyway. So I knew I can't really go wrong with this perfume, if it really resembles BPh. It is just beautiful scent, excellent blending - yes, repeating myself - but it is. If you like Black Opium, Prada Candy, or any pretty Vanillas, like TF Vanille Tobacco, or Xerjoff Bouquet Ideale, give this a try. You really cannot spoil anything. Very good perfume 👍

I have bought Black Phantom, and while the smell is amazing, the projection and longevity are subpar. So I wanted to order this as well, since it's voted as a veritable Beast Mode fragrance. It arrived in 2-3 days in Romania. The smell is great, similar to Black Phantom, almost the same if you go by memory. Black Phantom is a little bit more masculine, and the coffee is stronger in it, like the taste of a ristretto vs the taste of an americano. Insomnia is a little bit sweeter, and definitely perfectly unisex (Black phantom is 55% male, 45% female). Quality is really good, unexpected from a new Bulgarian niche house. Versatility is ... well, it depends how often you go on dates or you want to smell sexy. Can easily be worn at night every season. In terms of projection and longevity, this is better than Black Phantom, but not really as good as the votes here reflect. Honestly, I don't know what people are voting as eternal/enormous nowadays, do they use like 30 sprays? It seems common sense to me that an eternal/enormour fragrance is something like Baccarat Rouge Extrait, which fills any room with a max of 5 sprays. Scent: 4.5/5 (Black Phantom 5/5) Projection 3/5 (BP 2/5) Longevity: 3.5/5 (BP 2/5)

I ordered this and never received my bottle. Based on the other reviews here i recommend holding off on buying this. I'm so disappointed. EDIT: I had my doubts because there were no replies to any of my e-mails reaching out for help and also no help on the website's chat service. However, I retract my statement about holding off on buying because I finally did get a response from the company today. They were helpful and provided new tracking information. EDIT #2: Got mine today! I'm excited to wear this for fall its sweet, deep, cozy, boozy with a woody, patch, and ylang-ylang dry down. The top notes I can only distinguish the "rum" which smells more to me like cognac or bourbon but its delicious the chocolate, caramel, and coffee are blended into one dark delicious accord to me and my nose. Also, the bottle is beautiful and the juice is beautiful too, clear glass with the juice itself being a dark purple brown almost black.

It smells like a mocha/vanilla latte was stored in a sandalwood rum barrel. The ylang ylang comes across a bit sour at the beginning of the scent for me, but it's a rich ylang that adds something to it, not discordant at all. The patchouli and cedar give it a bit of a peppery hit every once in a while. It ends with a heavy sandalwood after about 6-7 hours and stays that way until it wears off. That's how it smells to my nose. I'm not sure if it's a copy of Black Phantom, because they were being concocted at the same time, but everyone will have their own idea as to that. This is an extrait, thus it doesn't project as much on me but it's eternal on my skin. The juice looks black in the bottle, but in the light it's a dark purple and it does stain light clothing. Gorgeous sweater weather fragrance, although I'll wear it when I get the urge. You can't beat the price, quality is great.

This reminds me a lot of Black Phantom by Kilian. It has a prominent dark chocolate, with caramel and rum note with an undertone of coffee, vanilla and sandalwood. Insomnia is a great gourmand, unisex maybe a bit feminine and to me more likeable than the Black Phantom which is more powdery and cloying. Performance is great, over 8 hours of longevity and very good projection. This is a cold weather scent, in a warm day it could be very cloying. It's great for a night out, maybe for a date! It opens really nice with chocolate and rum, it's a thick, complicated scent but it doesn't develop a lot over time. If you like gourmands you should check this out. I can find this in a great price and if you want something like Black Phantom this is in my opinion a better pick. Update: I guess a lot have shipping problems. Be careful!

Ok I did a side by side comparison, on one hand I had Black Phantom, on the other hand Insomnia. Was trying hard to sniff the difference, but couldn't. Maybe after a few hours BP had a little more bitterness than Insomnia, but I'd say by 1%, so you need to dig your nose deep to notice it. Insomnia has a better longevity than BP, but I don't want to claim this, because sprayers may release different amounts of perfume. What I don't understand is how they did it? It is not listed as a 'clone', nor 'inspires by' and the company is very proud of this perfume, but I still don't get how can you make such a similar perfume with same (quality) ingredients and notes blend, I'm puzzled. In any case, if you have one, you don't need the other one in your collection.

Is it me but does anybody else get a peanut and jelly/jam vibe with on the opening? The description of what I smell escaped me as soon as I got it but I believe the ylang and the woodiness layered within the chocolate, caramel and rum gives it this interesting scent of this thick jam like sweetness. It gives it this type of earthy, at home and cozy vibe. It doesn’t smell as luxurious or sexy as BP which in a way makes it just feel like a cheap clone, but actually if you think about it as a pure comfortable gourmand, it fulfills that role along with BP. It feels very comfy and loving in that sense. Considering the price, which was only 50$, I’m pretty comfy warming up to myself over here.

Took 5 weeks to reach me, which is okay due to the fact that I live at the top of the world and between Covid 19 , DeJoy the Post Master General and Trump its inevitable. This is a very sexy scent. It dried down on me less sweet and more animalic. It started out as gourmand with great projection. I did get an "Oh my God, what are you wearing, I like that". So expect people to violate your personal space and not stand 6 feet away on their square. 6 hours later I could still smell Insomnia on me and now it was much sweeter - all of the animal like smell was gone, it was smokey and sweet. 9.25/10. There is nothing I do not like about it.

First of all there is no shipping issue. Their customer service is very prompt. I suggest you to use the chat from their site or email. The parcel arrived in no time, very fast! Regarding parfume, because we are talking abot it... i love it. Everything started with the fact that i loved at the first snif Black Phantom few year ago wich on my skin is lasting less then 1 hour, i tried diferent other fragrances with similar notes ... unfortunately it was the same not persisting issue until i met Insomnia! Love it! It was a worth blind buy! Any gourmand parfume lover shoud own a bottle! 😍

Perhaps one of the most underappreciated gems? It's full-on caramel, whiskey, bitter chocolate from the opening. Gourmand, but the bitter chocolate balances well with the sweet caramel. Coffee and a hint of vanilla swaying in the back. it's simplistic, but it dries down with lots of coffee and sandalwood supporting the heavy top notes. I don't detect a whole lot of vanilla, ylang-ylang, or patchouli, but that isn't necessarily bad. This fragrance does wonders during social events, a subtle breeze is its favorite accompaniment, this is passion in a bottle!

I can't believe this is more popular! It's an incredible mix of alcohol droplets on the edge of a warm glass with chocolate shavings and a steaming cup of coffee to warm you up. I don't think straight-up patchouli or cedar at any point, but I can tell that there's something in the background adding a bit of texture and depth to this. It's STUNNING. I think it leans more traditionally masculine, but make no mistake, both my husband and I can wear this. And $100 for 50ml?! I rushed to get a full bottle.

Managed to get hold of a bottle and I am very pleased with it. I love Black Phantom and to be honest I cannot tell it apart from Insomnia when smelling both hands. To me they are very similar. Insomnia is a beast of a fragrance and fills your space so be very sparing with the sprayer. I really like the chocolate covered caramels and woody dry down. This fragrance is perfect for autumn and winter. So pleased I got a bottle.

Just got this in today 02/23/26 and this frag met every expectation that I had for it. This was an amazing purchase can't compare it to Killian's Black phantom because I have not had the pleasure of smelling that fragrance. But on its own this is A1. Just the right amount of sweetness and earthiness and it's well blended. There's no downside on this one. Will repurchase and keep this as part of my frag collection forever.

Those can be called Insane, because its inormous how good you smell. 3-5 sprays and you become sweet as milky cocao or choco moka warm drink. In same way, that sweetnes is dark and deep, like something bad what is for good. On skin last around 7-9 hours, on hoodie or tshirst 2-3 days. And im talking not about close smelling. If you like sweet, insane deep, long lasting perfume, Insomnia is most have for every gentleman.

I have to confirm that this heavily resembles Kilian's Black Phantom but for the fraction of the price. I wouldn't say that it is an original fragrance because of that but it is indeed of good quality so you should check it out. Edit: I just realized that they pumped up the prices as I remember it being sold for 25-30 euros (here in Bulgaria, where it originated from) and now it's being sold for 70 euros.

Beautiful fragrance, boozy opening followed by an immediate coffee burst, leaves sweet, nutty trail. Definitely expected it to be more sharp but it turns out to be an amazing rounded and balanced luxurious scent, not too masculine, not too heavy. Looking forward to winter time so it can bring out even more of that comfy, drinking hot chocolate with rum by the fireplace feeling ❤️

I am NOT a fan of gourmands. I believe they belong on feminine people only. Insomnia is not fully gourmand, and I love that fact! Insomnia gives me slight Zaharoff The Siren vibes in the beginning. The Siren is 50x more masculine, of course, & a phenomenal masterpiece. I enjoy Insomnia a LOT. Price is steller, scent is great, & longevity is outstanding. 9+/10 with room to grow

Love it!! Tried Black Phantom by Killian and Dark Knight by Alexandria Fragrances and this is the closest to BP as you can get. Just a wonderful scent that last for hours and hours and leaves a nice sillage! Very gourmandy with a peanut butter note (which only exists to my nose!) that keeps it from going too sweet. I blind bought a 50ml bottle and so happy I did!!

All my mail has slowed down. In Alaska if you are an Amazon Prime Member it takes up to 2 months to get a purchase, longer if you are not a member although if they have it in their Seattle Warehouse its only 10 days. Flights coming here from the lesser 48 stop in Seattle before going to Anchorage, and then put into little planes to go to villages.
