Fan di Fendi pour Homme

I had first sniffed this on a card at Macys after smelling a couple other scents and when I sniffed Fan Di Fendi Pour Homme I immediately thought "not bad".. I recently came across Fan Di Fendi Assoluto and was very impressed with it right from the first sniff, and because of that experience I decided to check out the original and I am glad I did.. Fan Di Fendi is a fragrance that you have to spray on your skin before you judge it.. Fan Di Fendi opens up bright and fresh but still spicy.. The opening consist of tangerine, bergamot, basil, and it all smells amazing when it hits your skin.. After a few minutes the scent begins to evolve and warm up a bit.. The heart consists of rose hips, spicy cardamom, and geranium.. The base consist of a very nice soft leather note, tonka bean to lend a bit of its sweetness, and a bit of patchouli.. This scent smells very nice and pleasant.. It is very modern but still has a classic touch to it.. It really does smell great! Just the right amount of citrus to give a fresh opening, just enough cardamom to spice it up, and just enough tonka to add a sweetness to the scent all while laying on a gorgeous soft light leather note.. There is a certain accord in Fan Di Fendi which I detect right from the beginning which reminds me a bit of Brut and I really like that.. I think that certain accord could have to do with the basil, geranium, and rose hips.. Overall this seems like a great casual scent that I will be using in the warm weather.. I wanted something that was not a bland citrus or aquatic that I could use in warm weather, and this works! Fan Di Fendi Pour Homme is a great modern release and I think more people should try it and give it a chance.. I read a bunch of reviews comparing the scent to Gucci Guilty, 1 Million, Spicebomb and all these other scents but I do not see them having anything in common.. Fan Di Fendi Pour Homme is its own unique scent.. Fan Di Fendi is elegant, sexy, and masculine.. I have to say I love Fan Di Fendi and its more intense version Assoluto.. P.S. Fragrantica has all the notes wrong.. Please fix them.. The correct notes are below.. I will preface by saying I am in complete love with this fragrance so if you don't like this you may want to stop reading. The opening of this fragrance is delicious it is sweet and spicy and woody with an almost edible but not quite aroma. The citrus in the opening blends quite seamlessly and where often times citrus makes many men fragrances generic it actually makes this one a bit classy. The heart notes is where the citrus subsides and the woody notes start to really unfold. This is where you get the "familiar" feel in this fragrance; however it isn't quite run of the mill there is a bit of edge due to the sweet/spicy combo mixed with a La Nuit type of cardamom. In about 3 hours the leather really begins to peek from behind the curtains and this is where I think this fragrance stands head and shoulders above 9.5 out of 10 designers in your local department store. I would swear there is some sandlewood but that could be the mix of the cardamom and woody notes causing this sweet creamy woodiness. The base of leather mixed with the this creamy sandlewood vibe with a tinge of spiciness from the pink peppercorn is what I think made this not a best seller. I think this fragrance would have sold well without the leather. It would have flirted around the spicebomb with a bit less sweetness and definitely more tenacity and endurance. For fragrance lovers this is one of the best designers I have experienced since La Nuit. There is not another modern designer on the market with this leather outside of Coach's latest offering; however, this can be had for under $30 today. I thought it was worth it at first smell retail. So let me run it down: Versatility: 4.5 out of 5. Outside of very hot weather outside this could work in any situation controlled by sprays Projection: 3.5 out of 5. Depends on what you want. For me this is an office, out on the night type of scent so I don't want it going to far off the skin. Longevity: 5 out of 5. I get a great bubble for the first 4 hours or so but it sticks around at least a full workday and commute Smell: 5 out of 5. A perfect non-threatening leather with the spicy/woody/sweet accord popular in men's fragrances like La Nuit. Overall: 4.5 out of 5 and it's current discounted price point 5 out of 5.

I found a treasure trove of testers and samples in a box which included this now discontinued gem. Fan di Fendi pour Homme opens with a sharp but sweet citrusy note and becomes immediately a wonderfully sweet, warm, fruity/woody scent. The woods are really prominent here, more so than the leather or suede notes that I only smell faintly hanging in the background. I smell a quite distinctive scent of face powder, or at least the one my mum used when I was a kid - please forgive my ignorance if different face powders do have different smells :D - and so Fan di Fendi PH triggers my olfactory memory in a very nice way. Compared to the testing paper, on my skin the citrus loses power almost immediately and a weird, off note comes and goes for ten minutes or so before disappearing - it may also be that the sample was stored not properly or some funny reaction of the leather notes with my skin. The drydown is so nice and juicy - I definitely get patchouli and can smell some sweet fruity notes. I like this one very much, is not cloying (something I always fear in sweet scents) and projects decently around you. I think it would have done well in winter evening in front of a fireplace, and definitely is a nice dating scent that your other half would love to smell on you. It reminds me a bit of Burberry London for Men, but more refined and fruity and less "christmassy". Longevity is pretty solid - I clocked in around 7/8 hours though the last few as a skin scent, and unfortunately it has been discontinued, but if you like this kind of scents and you find it for a fair price I would recommend to get a bottle.

This fragrance just proves how advertising and publicity is the reason why many average (and mediocre) fragrances become bestsellers and some very nice scents fail... THIS deserved a better recognition... Why, Fendi? why haven't you put a little effort on marketing this? Mark Ronson (the face of the frag) hadn't made "Uptown funk" (with Bruno mars) yet, but already had a nice cool, edgy image going for him... The good news is that you can have it for pretty cheap now.. Buy it while stocks last! A nice departure of all the post-2010s extra sweet male fragrances (some compare this to early 90s male fragrances, and i can see why)... What you get here is a soft leather, leather and leather. its is masculine and i almost saw two testicles hanging at the bottom of my bottle, and some chest hair on the front :) ... bergamot barely lasts 30 seconds after spraying then, l love how the leather starts to increase its presence. Soft, discreet at first, it becomes the main note during the drydown. This won't smell like a straight up new leather jacket though, thanks to the cardamom which had some sweetness to round the edges a little bit. Very nice performance. Though the sillage / projection are somewhat shy passed the 3 first hours, this easily lasts from one morning to another on my skin even AFTER showering, i still get a whiff from my chest... PS : am i the only one who thinks this smells just like burberry London with leather? (of course, it makes it perfect for fall and winter) SCENT 9/10 LONGEVITY 10/10 PROJECTION 7/10 SILLAGE 6/10 MY NOTE : 8/10

Absolutely gorgeous scent, comprised of a variety of spicy, sweet, and leathery notes. From the top, I can detect hints of apple, cinnamon, some mild citruses, and some deep leather that all kicks in to build a magnificent scent. I blind purchased this from a gentlemen online, and have not looked back since. This is a bit underrated in the fragrance game, and unfortunately so as it is a wonderful smelling cologne. It opens up fresh, and stays that way though the majority of the scent. The leather, while being a primary note, only surfaces under the shadow of the prevailing apple and cinnamon notes to give a nice blend that lasts on the skin for a better portion of 8+ hours. The projection is good, as well, holding a good scent cloud for the first 2-3 hours before retreating a bit to form a light bubble over the wearer. All in all, I enjoyed this scent. It is definitely a great all year scent, as it brings up some fruity/ citrus notes with deeper undertones to reinforce its masculinity. Spray recommendations: one to the chest, two the neck and you should be set. This one does not project in an overbearing mode, so you can be somewhat more liberal with the trigger. I can easily see this on a more mature fellow, or even a young man (high school or college) who wants to live slightly ahead of their age. Longevity: 8/10 (8+ hours) Projection: 7/10 (2-3 hour scent cloud) Versatility: 7/10 (Casual wear, or great for nights; any season) Smell: 8/10 (Fruit, spice, and leather- perfect combo!)

I have worn this cologne in 3 different and spaced situations before writing down this review. And I can assure my first opinion: it's delicious! Now, if you ask me if it's unusual, bold, with any new proposal that could be surprising, I will say: no, it is not! Quite the contrary: I dare say that it resembles many other colognes, such as: Spicebomb, 1 Million, Gucci Envi, etc. But just as our digitals - that seem identical, but are unique - this one also has its own identity. It opens with notes of citrus, with something that I referred to the orange and tangerine peels (bergamot, perhaps) and has a heart that is rich in woods and red pepper, also basil and cardamom, which is the big secret of this fragrance when it blends to the leather note at the base. For about 1 hour, the effect is spicy-citrus, with something denser and sweeter, as a promise of something that will still come, almost the light at the end of the tunnel. After about 2 hours, the fragrance already shows itself less citrusy, more full-bodied and rich in spices with a touch of soft sweetness. Finally, in a constant evolution, the leather comes and brings comfort and sensuality to this composition, that survives for more than 8 hours on the skin, with moderate projection. I think this cologne is something that anyone who has felt the most diverse world creations, will understand: the Italian tone that has been inserted in this composition as a whole. And the bottle is beautiful!

Ambery goodness in a bottle... First, an admission. For the last couple of years, my bottle of Fan di Fendi PH has been placed in the back of my fall rotation - I really enjoyed the scent, but felt that performance from it was in the weaker league, bordering on mediocre at best. I've now been wearing Fan di Fendi PH for the last three months, and must admit that the scent profile is not only lovely but excellent. The lack of performance I found it to have earlier has been substitued by a feeling of "subtle but decent", which I'm quite content with as the longevity is very good. The opening is a blood orange-like sweet citrus with pepper and a touch of basil, giving a reminiscence of cardamom. The heart has a sensation of spicy tobacco, while the base is woody cedar with a slightly synthetic, musky and fruity leather note. It seems to me the base has some tonka bean as well as patchouli in there. Annoyingly, a description like the above does not really do any justice until you try it - which I hope you will have the chance to. Fan di Fendi PH is sublime for fall and smooth as silk. If you like Burberry's London, this has some of the same feeling without the port wine notes, more soft and warm. It's a great dating scent and the bottle is excellent as well. One of the few fragrances that has transitioned from a "meh" to a love for me and IMHO much better than the more screechy Assoluto flanker. A very nice piece of work from Francois Demachy.

Actually they had a blow out marketing campaign here in Canada when they first released it. I think it was marketed so much that it became too common for people. Posters everywhere, The Bay, Holts etc. Too much circulation makes the price go down. It needs to come up from the grass roots sometimes. It was just Too Everywhere. Remember CK One's release a thousand years ago? Same thing, on a lesser scale. Literally I remember seeing Fendi everywhere that year. It actually stopped me from sampling it because I thought it was just too common. (Paco R- One Million) I avoided it. People sometimes want things that are exclusive, or special (and somewhat popular), but not too common. The advertising I did like. It was Class. But they went for too much quantity, which cheapened it. So I ended up receiving it as a gift for X-Mas that year, and was astounded & surprised. I ended up LOVING it !!! I ended up getting the Aqua and Assulotu when they came out. I love leather based fragrances. All the notes hit the right spot. Red Pepper? Yes! It turns out that someone at Fendi really did know what they were doing.( well sort of at Fendi,...Francois Demachy,) Not to mention, I always really did like the style of the bottle, I found it bold. I LOVE these fragrances and it is a shame that they are being discontinued. My opinion is they should have spent less MONEY on advertising, and more TIME on strategy & luxury.

Ok, this one is strange. Smell very good one paper, i get vanilla with leather, i little bit of spice, but on me, it smell only leather, and very much! It give me headach, the smell is un pleasant for me, but i receive a lot of compliments when i wear it, generaly from mature women. I made the mistake to only smell it on paper and not try it on my skin when i buy it...Mayble it is my skin chemistry that make it smell leather that much? It have a mature vibe, I would say for over 35... Their is no probleme with the longevity or the projection with it, too much for me...i use it in the fall. I think that it is the perfect season for it. I don't wear it often, has you are expecting....I will give it another try this next fall. Ok, let's see what we got: Smell: 4,5/10. Not like on paper...too much leather on me, it give me headach and nausea. Longevity: 4/5. Last for 8 hours and more. Projection: 4/5. People notice it, and I notice it too much! Versatility: 2/5. Regarding the fact that it almost make me sick, i realy don't see when and how I can used it. But i can see it more for nightout or formal occasion, mayble romantic? Overall: 14,5/25. I won't buy it again, you should try it first before buying it. It got a good longevity and projection, so if you like this kind of scent (and your skin chemistry doesn't change it too much) it might be a good fragrance.

Fan di Fendi has a certain velocity to it as a scent, more than just a feeling but an actual energy. This scent moves. The leather is prominent from the jump, but then we get a sweetness from the cardamom and of course the woody elements. This opening chorus of elements last for a while in the opening, and then the basil pepper and citruses kick in! The leather opening gives way to a fruity herbal freshness and its fantastic! Fan di Fendi then becomes this sweet, fruity and leathery mist that surrounds you throughout the day. The feel overall of this scent is very mediterranean and very chic and classy. Fan di Fendi is for the male in his late twenties and up and is the prefect spring/winter transition frag; this scent is worn when the cafes finally set their tables outdoors again and drinks can be shared on the patio. Now, back to the aforementioned velocity; this scent has a youthful energy behind it and it isn't through sweetness, this scent is magical because, its subtle and not overtly trying too hard, but is very pronounced. This scent feels like you're about to hop on a Vespa (ok the velocity of a Vespa), meet your friends and enjoy life! I highly recommend a bottle and please spray this after work on a friday, late in the evening and it is time to go out and play!

This is a wonderful scent - my current fall/winter signature. Reminds me a little bit of D&G The One EDP, but more complex and better longevity. It is warm, a bit spicy (in a peppery way), and I also get what smells a little like tobacco to me, even though it's not listed in the ingredients, along with the citrus and leather accords. This makes a great fall/winter scent, and I love the fact that it is fairly unique, modern and classy. It doesn't have huge projection, but others definitely smell it on me throughout the day. My wife loves it - one of her favorites, so there's that. I also love the acqua version of this for summertime use, and it is my wife's absolute favorite out of all the fragrances I have. It is a shame that Fendi isn't making these anymore, as they are - in my eyes - some of the best scents ever. I'm glad they are still available online though, and at the prices they are sold at, they are definitely blind-buy worthy in my opinion! UPDATE 12/10/18 : I have to mention that the drydown on this stuff is GORGEOUS... it has some awesome transitions, and about 5-6 hours in, it turns into a beautiful, sweeter (not cloying though) scent, slightly reminiscent of Bleu De Chanel. The more I wear this, the more I like it.

It took awhile but it's worth buying! I wondered why this fragrance attracted me over and over??? Without reading the reviews, I realized that I enjoyed the opening notes of woodsy/green note as well cardamom. After a while this fragrance took on a really desirable warm/woodsy vib making it fantastic. I'm able to pickup a hint of red pepper and leather....not sure why? Leather like Oud have a very distinct aroma which cannot be mistaken with another note. Both longevity and Silage are excellent lasting well past 10hrs on my skin spraying it once. Finally thoughts, The only other Fendi I ever owned was the first one for men and now Fendi pour Homme. The main reason why I purchased this fragrance was due to the warm/woodsy/spicy blend which lasts for a real long time. I don't find it generic or similar to other fragrances out in the market. It has been almost two weeks since I bought and at least 2x every day I've had woman compliment me on the fragrance I was wearing and wanted to know which one it was. In fact one of the women where I work liked it so much she bought it for herself. I recommend this fragrance for those who want a frag that isn't too heavy yet it lasts well past 8hrs hours. 9.5/10

Warm-Spicy CANDIED GINGER to GINGERSNAP Blend of Pink-Pepper, Cardamom, Citrus, Woods & Leather. This has been discontinued but still available on the grey market. In the first couple of minutes there's some quick-to-clear masculine ozonics, and I can feel a warm-spicy blend with some citrus-fruity nuances that gives a candied-ginger/ginger-tobacco vibe. Other reviewers have also noted the similarity to a tobacco scent. In the base there's leather & woody notes, but the leather is soft, not too animalic, and appearing in the late drydown for me. I'm getting an A*Men Pure Havane or A*Men range by Mugler vibe. In the drydown I mainly get gingersnap or gingerbread (but the not-too-sweet gingerbread without the icing) and some intermittent glimpses of soft leather. Soooo good - I wish I had more than a sample. Overall I get candied-ginger transitioning to gingersnaps. The performance is average for year round wear, and wouldn't cloy in summer, but the profile is warm-spicy and best suited to fall & winter. I find this unisex, except for the masculine-leaning ozonics in the first few minutes. It's a love for me. 10/10. Enjoy!

Fan di Fendi Pour Homme.. If u like masculine fragrances, characteristic fragrances and woody notes u should buy or try Fandi Fendi Pour Homme. This stuff smell so different and this stuff like as Fendi Life Essance, Ysl L'Homme but more intensive state than Fendi Lİfe Essance.. More woddy notes, more leather but leather foreground.. Sometimes Fendi Pour Homme reminds me Burberry London and Dior Homme. Because smell dry like Burberry London but not boring.. When u wear this stuff maybe feel 80's 90's look like gentlemans. I think this stuff 26-28 or 30 years old for mens. Wearable for cold weathers spring and winter.. I need to specify for this stuff.. Fendi Pour Homme Longevity 4 hours on my skin maybe 5 or 6 hours stay on clothes. Sillage not good soft. Because no note will be to the foreground. Smell dry and soft.. But I like smell Fendi Pour Homme. This fragrance can be used on special occasions. Projection:6/10 Longevity:6/10 Sillage:5/10

Very excited that I was able to find a second hand bottle recently through a fb group. This was a great cheap designer when it was on the market. No there's nothing particularly special about it; they just did everything right in terms of delivering a fresh, spicy, wood dominant fragrance to men. I get the leather accord too but to me this is all about the woods and cardamom. Not afraid to rock this in any weather, and makes for a wonderful office scent too. Don't get any comparisons to any Muglers or Spicebombs and definitely not Desirtoxic. Honestly while not being ground breaking, it still manages to stand on its own and definitely doesn't suffer from the redundancy like so many current releases. If you can find a 100ml bottle of this for $90 or less, jump on it. NOTE 1-25-26: I have multiple bottles of this frag. I have a 100ml 98% full bottle for sale for only $90. Just message me, thanks,

I wish smell could be like colours, of course even then one might say it is blueish green and others greenish blue. But with smell it seems that two or three noses don't smell the same thing ever. Fan di Fendi for me opens very much in a Bulgari fashion, tea-ish, especially Bulgary Man. Then the cardamon shows its spiciness and remind me a little of La Nuit, Ferragamo Black? But never, never Dior Homme. The leather and wood base is very, I say very interesting for me, perhaps because I don't have any of such scents F de F is very appealing to me. The leather is not thick leather though, it is the softest of well treated suede, pura e fina pelica. It floats around me as a cloud ever so faint and airy, it is not a leather jacket. It is a fine pair of glove. Superb. Classy. But it doesn't make a fuss. It is just what it is. That is Fan di Fendi. Sorry, but I am fond of Fan di Fendi fondness.

I have had an revelation here. I put it on once for a while ago, and I did not like it. Really did not, so I put it away. Then, I wanted to give it a new try and I loved it. I think a put a bit too little the first time. I sprayed it on my body and took on my polo shirt, I got instantly the smell of tree and leather oozing out from the openings little by little. I got surprised by the compliments from several people ranging all ages. My wife told me that I smell like a tree. Simple and quite rightly so. Then, there is the mellow sweetness and unobtrusiveness that makes it very appealing. The longevity is actually OK as moderate, because it hints you of the smell from time to time, but does not knock you off. That said, I started with a quite solid dose, and I think that made the trick. So, yes, now I love it and wear it daily. For the autumn/fall season, it fits perfectly.

fan di fendi line is too underrated. this and its flankers are better than many other fragrances still on the market. fand di fendi pour homme is a pleasant scent with leather combined with woody and warm spicy notes. a bit resinous and peppery, the smell is like the color of the juice. FdF is a solid release, for me it's hard to dislike this fragrance, i agree we are far from the quality of the mighty Fendi Uomo, but i truly consider FdF a great and modern fall scent. the performance is good, 6-7 hours with a good projection for 1.5-2 hours. better for 25 and up, for formal and casual situations. it's discontinued but still easy to find for a good price. speriamo che fendi ritorni con nuovi prodotti, ci manca. scent-8,5 long-8 sillage-8 uniqueness-8 bottle-8 versatility-8 compliment factor-8 my vote-8,5 in one word- modern

This is a great warm-weather leather scent. The leather note is somewhere between a cool suede and the traditional oily, dark leather note, but closer to the former, and the citrus joins it to create a really nice uplifting opening perfect for summer heat. The drydown is the spicy wood accord supported by the leather as it takes a backseat. The cardamom is really distinct - a rairity for me personally as it features in so many of my cool-weather frags. Really nice, I like to use this as one of my summer office scents. Update: I had noticed this before but neglected to mention it. This has serious staying power. At the end of my workday, a full 11 hours after my post-shower application, I was getting wafts of this from my wrist at within a foot projection. Genuinely impressive.

This is a Gorgeous fragrance , Elegant, Classy, Sophisticated, Unique and Complex. One of the best Fendi perfumes for Men, In my opinion It is a MASTERPIECE with Italian Style! I fell in love with it and I'm very happy that I have it in my collection . It opens up with like fresh spicy, citrusy , green and warm spices notes in the background then dry down is soft woody leathery. It is soft, smooth and gentle, There is a Harmony between its notes and This perfume has Super High Quality Composition. The art of bottle design is very beautiful. It is perfect for the spring, fall and winter, You can't go wrong with it. Special Thanks to MAGS FRAGS - Fragrance on YouTube, I bought it blind-buy. Longevity is good, Highly Recommended. Undeniably, unequivocally, uladulterated..sexiness! I don't know what the fuss is, but this could easily be the best designer release of 2012. Here is the problem though. I like both of the women's version (extreme and pour femme) as both are just as sexy...maybe even having an edge because of its unisex leaning. I like the combination in the female versions with the leather while the men's version is supplemented with pink peppercorn and cardmom and citrus the females have sweeter and darker fruity notes and patchouli to support it. The female is a bit sweeter but thats not bad as I believe the male skin will bring out a deeper patchouli and "masculate" the white florals in the composition. I don't which to cop in this instance.

It ́s been a long time since i made a post but let me say just this,(not going to make a review or talk about the notes) i blind buyed this one based on reviews and im so glad i was blowed away! (and its quite difficult for me to get that impression by now) but i just couldnt stop sniffing and find it very similar to something i have smelled befored or even something i have and then bingo it was Viktor and Rolf spicebomb and im so sorry to say this but i do think this is better a little less sweet (spicebomb is a bit too sweet) and far away more masculin and compliment didnt took long to start and keep coming everytime i wear it, if you like spices or spicebomb this is IMO a step forward and upscaled.

Just got it and I can say It's very nice, woody scent with a touch of leather... For me this is a classy perfume! As far as its woodiness is concerned it reminds me a bit of something made by Gucci, maybe Envy, or Pour Homme, or mix of them... Well done! ps: After wearing it several times I can add something... Fan di Fendi is a long lasting fragrance! After 12 hours you can still smell it, although close to skin, and when it dries down I can say it resembles Gucci Pour Homme, as if it is a lighter version of it, that is very nice for me! ps II: As a conclusion for the end of the year, for me Fan di Fendi is easily the best surprise! My personal best fragrance of the year 2012! Rating: 10/10

This one has a slight retro charm, reminiscent of the classic era of male fragrances such as Aramis or Gentleman. This, however, does not mean that this one would just try to copy old class. Rather, it develops it further and transfers it into the the 21st century. I admit that I have never heard of the corresponding fashion brand, and I am not sure whether its fragrances can be found in major shops outside of Italy. But this is irrelevant regarding the quality of the scent as such. This one reminds me of the underrated In2U Pop, which also had a synthetic undertone that suited it perfectly. This one is, however, more elegant and mature and one of my favourites for the present decade. ****

A really, really good creation, just tested. However, it's not original at all, and not even modern which is good :). This scent strongly reminds me of some men's fragrances from the 90s, not exactly perfumes but drugstore scents like Denim, Brut or something like that. A very masculine fragrance, and has an oily quality. I don't understand why they use such a young model for the ad since it's not a young fragrance at all, more of a macho type. On my wish list ;) By the way, the bottle looks much more cheaper in real life, and it's light :( Made of glass and light plastic glued on it. The designers did better job with the front of the bottle of Guerlain Homme.

I am wearing this fragrance for the first time today, and I've already received more compliments in less than 2 hours than I have with multiple wearing's of any other fragance. Fan Di Fendi's opening can be off putting at first, but then it quiets down within the first 5 to 10 minutes. From that point it becomes a sweet, creamy scent that's absolutely amazing. Mostly what I pick up is the woody notes, lightly sweet cardamom with a hint of leather. In my opinion this is a blind buy for anyone that has an appreciation for darker resinous scents. Those that prefer fresher fragrances should avoid this one.

This is such a sexy cologne. I got a whiff of it at the men's counter in Macys this evening on a shopping date, and I was MAGNETIZED to the counter. My friend who works the counter recommended it, sprayed it on my wrist, and I bought it within 5 seconds. It's very dark, woody, and spicy. For once in a mainstream cologne, the citrus takes the backseat for the fabulous combination of leather, pink pepper, and cardamom. The basil is tame and it mostly complements the leather/cardamom combo, freshened by the citrus tang. Excellent mix of notes, and it's simply irresistible.

I had to buy this on eBay, since Fan di Fendi pour homme is now discontinued. However, once I tried a sample I knew I had to have it. Think of a perfect mix between Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Malt and Pure Leather, with a stronger leather note at the top and a more subtle booziness at the mid. Plus there is an herbal note that I pick up (probably the bay leaf or basil). This is slowly becoming my signature scent. Very masculine with moderate projection and longevity. Can be used for the office or even a date. Very masculine and will not offend. One of my favorites.

I can definitely smell something similar to Gucci pour homme ii here, idk, but there's something in there. Smells amazing. I regret not buying two bottles when i had the chace. Projection: 5/10 Longetivity: 8/10 lasts pretty long though it isnt strong at all. I could still smell this on my 5 days old unwashed shirt. sillage: 6/10 this one of the perfumes that go beast mode for a second if it touches liquid. but still, idk if people could smell me but it doesnt matter to me as long as i can smell it,then im good.

this beautiful ambery woody leather notes is stays longer than i expected, i dont know why someone would say it would likely disappear within an hour but it stays so much longer in my skin. i admit it that i underestimate this fragnance when i bought it, but when i try it for the first time i was blown by how beauty the scent is.its gourmand, alluring, relaxing, sweet, sexy and masculine. it is a sexy dating fragnance for sure. Hahaha. Ouch i can see what you mean :-) it is sort of a morpher but brilliant. I think there are some similarities to others.... May be a bit of forever and some of the guccis BUT you have to test this juice, totally feel good fragrance. Its elegant and sexy. I quite like the cardemom in this one though not a big fan of it generally. To me its quite unique and well balanced as compared to those you list and others have mentioned in their posts. Its my new fav....

This really is good. Warm, aromatic spicy leather and some sweet syntheticness that is agreeable. A real people pleaser. The basil and cardamom are used well here. Think D&G The One with leather instead of amber for a backbone. Very good outing by Fendi. 8/10. A mass-appeal designer with distinction. Update: Gucci freakin II. I can't believe I've worn this a dozen times and never made the connection. Yup, a sweeter more peppery Gucci II.

This is an awesome leather scent. Beautifully blended. I love my spicebomb og and find this very similar, with weaker projection, softer spice and more prominent leather. Fan di Fendi Assoluto is a winter signature for me and this is a bit more versatile so I'll use it for fall and spring. Wish it wasn't discontinued but spicebomb or even HiM by Hanae Mori could be a good replacement for the Drydown.

Very nice surprise from Fendi. I was not expecting much from this new release, but I liked the bottle so I give it a try. I was hooked! The top notes are nice but the heart and base are gorgeous! I adore the Cuoio Romano leather note in this one.If you try this give it some time. A instant classic IMO. Manly, sharp and strong but very lovable. Ideal signature scent for fall/winter.

This is a beautiful woody/fruity citrus perfume with leather. The silage is actually quite good and long lasting. Fan di Fendi is a well blended and classy scent that has a really nice character. Starts with citruses and wood, then the leather kicks in. Finally you get cedar and other woods. This was a blind buy and I'm glad I got this. Addictive and delicious.

It's sweet warm, cozy. Reminds me of Givenchy Very Irresistible for Men. But it's more peppery. On my skin the peppery scent is very dominant. I can't recognize what notes that make this perfume so sweet, to my nose it's nutty. I think it's linear scent,,,suitable for night time. Very long lasting , on me it last 8 hours. Longer on clothes

I love this one and paid full price before it hit the discount bins. And it was worth it, I love it. Its a shame it was discontinued. Maybe North Americans arent as familiar with the luxury that is Fendi? I dont know. If you were reaching for something trendy smelling, I feel like this provides more distinction than 1 Million for example.

A blind buy, but worked out WONDERFULLY! Fendi's Fan di Fendi Pour Homme is spicy but not like a spice rack; a wonderful mature, adult fragrance...great for wearing during the Autumn/Winter months or an evening out. A MUST BUY TO ADD TO YOUR FRAGRANCE WARDROBE!

I've just received my bottle, blind bought based on the reviews. I do like it a lot and can smell the resemblance to Spicebomb in the drydown, although it doesn't seem to project so much. Will definately by some back-up bottles and will also try the Assoluto.

One of my absolute favorites. Very under the radar scent. Sadly it's discontinued. It had a striking resemblance to Micailef DesirToxic which is an extremely expensive niche fragrance. I'd be willing to spend a decent amount if anyone has this one for sale.

A really lovely perfume. This is a warm, smooth, mellow leather, fruits and spice scent. Longevity and silage are both moderate to good. Conran Nightshade is very close to this. Fan di Fendi though is just gorgeous.

This scent is amazing. It is a masculine woody scent. Projection is great and so is longevity. I hate to throw comparisons but to me it does smell like ysl L'homme libre.I knowthey both are in the wood category.

This is a modern fragrance with OG fragrance vibe for men. Leather and cardamom. a sleeper scent lots of class.Wear this during the fall and winter. Grab it because it has been discontinued.

I absolutely love this new fragrance by Fendi. To me it smells like wood and honey, and it is very light. Perfect for the office or an afternoon stroll. The bottle is very nice and unique.

I got a 5oz for dirt cheap a few months back. This stuff is great and underrated. Leather dominates this fragrance, but the wood and citrus come through and makes it super sexy.

*Update* This is so smooth and beautiful, but, if you can't get hold of this gem - try Jasper Conran Nightshade for men. It's very close in my opinion.
