Life Essence

What a absolutely gorgeous scent this is, so smooth and well blended. Picture you're walking past by or are even standing in a fertile flower garden that emits a beautiful smelling floral aroma and also has citrus trees in it, with the citrusses hanging riped ready to be plucked. This combined smell mixed in with a slight bit of spiciness from the cardamom, coriander and finally the sandalwood makes this the scent that it is. I have read people say this is unisex or feminine. Feminine? No. Unisex? Maybe. The thing with this one is that if you spray it in the air, you get a more prominent floral smell. On a male skin though, this definitely does not give me any feminine or unisex impression. This is a spicy floral scent done right for a man. Imo this almost borderlines being a masterpiece within it's own realm of scentprofile. It instantly brings me back to the sunny spring and summer days of the 90's. The days where people were so much more content with themselves and it was simpler having a fun time. Life essence is truly a fitting name for this one. Performance is solid, it projects strong for the first few hours and after 9 hours I could still smell it lingering around as a skin scent. The song that immediately came into my mind when I first smelled this: Shanice - I Love Your Smile. Overal rating: 9/10

Nose Note #328 Such an interesting spicy fragrance. Personally I can't imagine it on a woman. This has real citrus bite too. It does smell a tiny bit old-school - in this sense it's kind of fresh, but at the same time it's not really a summer fragrance. So far I've loved it. Very easy to wear - I can compare to the Montale and Mancera I've recently worn - almost all of them became sickening. This one is like "give me more". It's also about this kind of herbal note - maybe it's cypress or west indian bay, but it really adds a lot of thickness and bite to the citrus. This makes me want to try the dupes. Fragrance World Friend and Milestone Trendy Wood Intense. I wish they match the performance too because this one is just perfect

I’m a 57 y/o female and I’ve had Fendi Life Essence in my vast collection for 15 years. I have the OG Fendi for women too, and honestly, I like the scent profile of this better. Though it’s “mens fragrance,” in my opinion, it can definitely be worn by women as well. Life Essence is not my only men’s fragrance either. My perfume collection is very diverse - fresh, floral, aquatic, green, spicy, gourmand, woody, oriental, sweet, niche, girly, etc. - you get the jist 😄 I share some of my frags w my oldest Son, too ✨🤍

Gorgeous. Perfect for summer and the monsoons. No sharp notes at all. Quite feminine in my opinion. Husband used it too, and agreed it was more of a feminine scent. Gentle, fresh and alluring.Soft citrus, spices and a drydown that surprises you with it's delicacy. Dont think it can be offensive at all. And would suit all age groups, except teen's ofcourse. Very HARD TO FIND. P.S- Would appreciate any suggestions for a similar smelling parfum, this one is too hard to find.

After trying this F.L.E I bought 10 ml of that with no thinking over, because I very much liked it, if not to say, I fell in love with. As I'm not good at remembering the names, types, brands of perfumes, I was sure it was a feminine EDT, since I'd found it tender and beautiful enough. Anyway, I'M JUMPING WITH JOY, the shop-girl said it's probably gonna disappear, and I'm going to smell great - a man told me today there's a stylish aroma following me around.

i fell in love with this in a perfume shop some Christmases ago, but when i came back home i couldn't remember what was on my right hand near the right elbow :D ! After thorough investigation the culprit was found and the goods confiscated.. Later on Fendi discontinued it (you nuts ppl??) Totally unisex, veeery long lasting, unique, sexy and elegant.. and lovable under woolen sweaters on cold winter days :)

I truly love this scent. It's simple yet sophisticated like a white tank you can wear anytime anywhere, it's my first choice when don't know what to "wear". Also, I found out it's perfect for layering. I know, some people would want to kill me for that, but I like using it together with my all-time favourite Daim Blond to add some citrus-woody edge.

Life Essence and Cerruti SI are my all time favorites! Life Essence is a very special unisex fragrance. I love the cypress notes, geranium and coriander as well. On my skin it stays very very long. I hope Life Essence will be available in the future. It's getting harder to find it...

This scent is my life scent. It's literally essence of life. An all weather scent with the most perfect blending. Performance tops the charts. It's really sad they are not making it anymore and most of the bottles available online are fake. For me it's 20 over 10❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Ahh the smell of the 90's... smells like Fendi put the whole decade in a bottle. Every note is blended to perfection. Million times Better than the mediocre releases we see nowadays. A shame they discontinued it 8/10

Opens with burst of citrusy notes, then gradually develop the spicy notes, after that sits as woody spicy scent. On my skin, it has medium projection with moderate longevity. A very good fragrance for hot weather

Makes an unexpextedly good female fragrance, espessialy in hot weather. It`s crisp, warm, not too citrusy, overall a well-rounded blend of wooden, grass and fruit notes. I`ve been wearing it this whole summer!

Fendi Life Essence does smell like the ideal essence of life that only matters. It smells calm, wise, and peaceful. Every time I lift and smell my wrist, my eyes close and say "Oooh,... paradise." -AB-

Great woodsy masculine smell! I love this one!! Best fragrance from Fendi!! Too bad its discontinued. I still have plenty from my original bottle from 1998. I will only use is sparingly now!!

It is just “mmm...) how great it smells” - a perfect mix of wood, bergamot and fresh citrus. As simple as that! Miss it so much! True masterpiece of Fendi.
