Scuderia Ferrari Red

Being honest & realistic the usual way I will say it is an easy, safe fragrance but it does have a little, lovely + point many similar fragrances do not have. yes it is pretty fresh but it is not an aquatic or ozonic freshness. It's just a nice, fresh mix with a lovely warmer woody side that will soon show up & stay for pretty long if used the right way. Do not expect a commercial ck one side nor a complicated warm Hermès side. you will have a nice, masculine, pretty appealing smell teasing your nose as people around you's noses. It will not have everyone running out of the room because of your heavy, disturbing fragrance. Something I find perfect. I don't need everyone to know I'm entering a room because of my heavy fragrance! I tried it with both a relax jeans outfit as with a suit, the fragrance fits both. I don't think it has any age but smells are something personal. Someone using nothing but colognes or cool water may not like Scuderia's light but warmer woody side. I will definitely keep on buying it & surely will recommend it. There is not many eau de toilette's you can use in the winter as in the summer when it's hot. A huge + for this one. Smell: 10/10 Longitivity; 10/10 (it's an eau de toilette; also spray it on your clothes) Projection; 10/10 exactly what it should be

Pleasant disappointment! Earlier, the Scuderia Black was used and loved it! From little scared because he was blind purchase! At first, a little back into because it is felt in the head notes in the '90s power ..... Then I continued to like it, like it ..... They come in a floral, woody notes and special, aromatic scent becomes !! I came in! Power can be surprisingly good! As I appear in a scene almost immediately come to you for the compliment! Fragrances sight in a good way ..... Scuderia? Yes! Red? Yes! Is it worth it? Definitely! Price / performance ratio is very favorable! Ferrari Great job!

This scent should be re-evaluated. If don't have"Ferrari" brand, it would have been a good evaluation. No luxury, no special. But, the balance of depth and nimble freshness, it is a good thing.

A fresh and clean scent, yet kinda sweet sometimes somehow. Good for work and sunny days, I just wish it could last more on the skin.

Ferrari Scuderia Red opens with a soft projection of citrus and floral accords. The citrus comes up as mostly bergamot, not excessively sharp or lemony. The petitgrain and galbanum add a soft green touch; the jasmine, geranium and orris, a soft floral tone. As the fragrance dries down, the woody accords come up, soft but noticeable, finally, the moss adds a soft herbaceous accord. The vanilla is almost unnoticeable. SUMMARY: A very soft, very low projection, woody, citrus, and green fragrance with very soft floral and spicy accords. Some reviews say this is weak, I don’t find that at all. This goes on strong and stays present for easily as long as what Ferrari Brignt Neroli does on my skin, if not longer! The initial spray is quite a strong citric floral blast that I find quite potent, which after about 15 minutes softens down as the notes meld and the jasmine floral comes more to the fore. But despite that softening down, I get solid projection from this scent for several hours onward before it starts to draw closer. Maybe this juice just likes my skin :) Anyways, about the scent, as mentioned it needs that first 15 mins to meld properly, after which point the notes blend really nicely to a fresh jasmine floral, subtly warmed by the nutmeg (though you wouldn’t necessarily pick it because it’s well blended) and in my opinion leans masculine with the gentle use of moss and carnation. That said it could be unisex but it ain’t girly for a floral scent imo. It’s not overtly woody either - for me the florals sit well above any woodiness I detect. There’s a certain amount of translucency too. So if you imagine a dew drop sitting on a leaf or petal - sort of like that. The notes meld to give a light impression of muskiness in the base too. I guess the floral is a bit synthetic, but what can you expect at this price. Despite that it’s still a nice smelling well blended floral imo. Overall I really enjoy it. Lasts well, projects nicely and not the usual run of the mill floral. I like it! Batch is 2016-10, the red bottle. I think that clear bottle in the pic above must be way old. It’s always been on this scents profile for years, so the bottle must’ve changed to red at some point.

Entirely synthetic light citrus floral scent, yet strangely compelling. I ignore it for long stretches thinking that it’s cheap and fake smelling (which it is), then I give it a try again and I have to admit, it’s kinda good. Some jasmine and orange blossom up front and other mild “flowers”. Light to medium strong, a little sweet, very easy to wear. Sort of an old school cologne done with synthetics. Summery and fresh with a little more going on than a typical one or two note cologne. Lacks a little masculine bite though - could use a touch of musk or some sharp bitter citrus to amp it up a bit, but still, not bad for the price. Go easy on the sprayer though, it shouts “chemicals!” after about 4 spritzes.

It is a nice Fresh Citrusy scent, Clean, Airy and Floral. Ferrari Cars are very Expensive but Ferrari Perfumes are inexpensive ! You can't go wrong with it and reasonable price. It opens up with Creamy fresh spicy citrusy , floral and spices notes in the background then dry down is musky woody. This is perfect for the spring and summer, l'm so happy that I have it in my collection. A bit synthetic and classic, The Performance is good. Rating : 7 / 10

Think of the most basic citrusy and slightly floral perfume you could get, and this is what it smells like. Don’t get me wrong, it is fairly pleasant, but it’s very basic. The longevity is weak, after an hour it’s not very strong smelling, and by the 3rd hour it’s gone. It’s great though for a unisex scent. The sillage is moderate, for the time it lasts, and the price is pretty low too. 6/10 is what I’ll rate it.

Huh, maybe it a tad like CK One...it could be worn by men or women, and both contain jasmine, bergamot, sandalwood, orange, lemon, nutmeg...this is more floral. Glad it's only a 40ml I have. Also, it's a l'il like the original Issey Miyake for men(they both share nutmeg, geranium, cedar, sandalwood, lemon, orange & bergamot). It's not bad, but a bit like a bathroom deodorizer. Meh, won't buy again.

This was my go-to "first date" fragrance as a teenager, and I still love it now. Basic, simple, fresh and inoffensive. Very budget friendly and really not that bad of a "designer fragrance" - it's still something I'd gladly buy and have floating around now!

This was my first bottle of perfume as a 17-year-old over 10 years ago. Obviously a budget option and I've since moved on to more expensive stuff, but I will never forget this scent and it's excellent value for money.

Floral, Citrus opening with amazing dry down. i hope it could perform better. Scent is definitely sexy but doesn't perform so cant expect compliments.

It smells like cologne. Fresh, clean, soapy. It honestly reminds me of the basic SoftSoap hand soap, the kind you get in a squirty top plastic container. Because of that, I'm just not really digging it all that much because of the association with a cheap hand soap from my childhood, but if you like the way the SS smells, than you'll probably really like this. It's super inexpensive (around $30) or so, I got a tester off eBay for around $16, $18 a while back. One of the things that makes me crazy is how different the testers versus the full presentation bottles look. The testers are clear, while the OG bottles are a deep red color. It's really throwing me off as to if they're the same fragrance or not, but whenever I search "Ferrari Schuderia Red", I get both bottles. It's very confusing

It quickly turns into flower-ish notes kicking in, must be the jasmine with foggy, musky finish at the end Overall it smells like sour fresh "lipstick" Definitely unisex Smells like... yeah... smells like regular cologne. This one is...Meh, as with other Ferrari fragrances. Very floral, sweet, it's not intoxicating but it's very bland. A pleasurable smell but has no depth at all, and the longevity is non-existant. I remember this turning into a faint skin smell after the 3 hour mark and completely gone by the 5 hour mark. Projection is weak too, and unless the wind whiffs around you, people 6 feet apart from you won't notice. Overall not a bad smell, but it should cost way less for what it delivers.

4/10 for sure an immature scent, I loved it when I smelled it on my older friend when I was a teen but owning it now idk when you'd wear it unless you just need something to put on. The citrus is pleasant though.

Got this at Ross after I was exchanging a cologne I disliked. I decided to try this since I loved the black version so much. So I don't love it but it's definitely really nice. It's a flower bomb in a bottle. Smells like a fresh bouquet of flowers. Honestly this is a smell I know women love to smell so you aren't gonna come off definitely as a masculine scent but it's definitely likable. If you love fresh bouquet of flower smell. This is it. Reminds me whenever it's a lovely time to go pick up flowers for my girlfriend and I always smell it to make sure she will love itm and yup, has those lovely floral notes. If you don't like to wear, would make a killer house spray. It's so fresh and inviting.

As the bottle scent seemed promising, and as I wanted to buy something in acknowledgement of exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, Scuderia Ferrari Red for C$20- was a low risk Shoppers Drug Mart purchase.. It was only at home and with the opportunity to wear it I realized I had stumbled on a better bargain than I had, uhh, bargained for. For which I'd bargained? In any event, Scuderia Ferrari Red smelled good. Real good. This is uncompromising, unrefined, and old school; so old school it's the school they tore down to build the old school. Scuderia Ferrari Red recalls the bitter citrus of century old eau de colognes along the lines of Aqua di Parma Colonia or Guerlain Imperiale. Not to get anyone too excited, the Ferrari product is clearly synthetic and lacks the complexity of either of the two aforementioned classics. But what it lacks in refinement it makes up for in longevity; unlike a century old cologne, it doesn't completely vanish in half an hour (Guerlain, so beautiful, so fleeting, so much like my weekend, so much for a second date). So, promising, but there was a nagging feeling of familiarity and a vague feeling of unease. I couldn't place the scent or make sense of my discomfort but with a second wearing came an 'aha!' moment. I would have to try them side by side before making a 'this perfume reminds me of' commitment but I believe there is a strong resemblance to Herrera for Men. Where Herrera has tobacco, Ferrara has petitgrain and, with it, shades of Christian Dior Eau Sauvage but otherwise I am confident my comparison would stand the test.. Sadly, with recognition also came understanding of my mixed feelings. For me and for some time, Herrera for Men was a 'dumb reach', a Vivaldi scent for day or night, office or casual, and a replacement for those times I would have worn Eau Sauvage before the anemia of reformulation. Then came its unique distinction: an ex, dear to me, was, and remains, an engineer, brilliant, charming, utterly oblivious to many an inconvenience of human social interaction, and apparently anosmic to anything short of a humidor. Of my vast arsenal of scents, Herrera for Men was the only one he was able to sense on me. But what a scent and what a sense. To him, Herrera for Men was catnip. I expect he would enjoy Scuderia Ferrari Red as well, perhaps more so as its price point and crass brand stretching are suggestive of an uncomplicated masculinity. He'd like it even better if I'd bought it at a gas station. But much as with Sean John suit I spotted at Marshall's last week, priced to steal and in his size, I find I reach for my phone to text him the news and... remembering... put my phone back in my pocket. Now, with some regret, Scuderia Ferrari Red goes back in its box and soon after that into storage. The moment I worked out the similarity, I was excited to make a direct comparison but, as I remembered why my Herrera for Men was boxed up and put away, I tried not to think about the subject too carefully. Perhaps someone else can put my memory to the test. For the moment, I'll just agree with pegasus2014 and say whether its sourced at a drug store, a gas station, or from what might have been, Scuderia Ferrari Red is an underrated fragrance and, for many, will prove to be a sleeper.

Here are three letters to sum up SF Red: Meh. Red soars high in the opening, takes a nosedive to mediocrity shortly after, and then levels out to blandness for the dry down. Foolishly, I had high hopes for this fragrance, only because I am quite fond of SF Black. Things start out with a bang. The opening of Red is one of the best openings I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. This is not an exaggeration. It's absolutely delightful; a mix of citruses and jasmine that blend together with other notes to create an unbelievable scent that you just can't stop smelling. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long. Red goes from something amazing to something cheap and barely tolerable in just two minutes flat. The beautiful opening is wiped out by a nuclear bomb made of jasmine that incinerates all other notes in its area code. The jasmine is amped up to an 11, and becomes the only player in town. Not a good jasmine, mind you; no, I'm talking about the cheap jasmine note you'd find in a Glade air freshener. Once the volume is cranked up on the jasmine, Red turns into a woman's fragrance. Yes, you read that correctly. Fortunately, that horror show only lasts about thirty minutes, give or take. Thankfully, the jasmine dies down to something bearable and you're left with a pleasant, albeit bland scent that still leans feminine. SF Red is targeted towards testosterone-fueled men, but smells like it was made for women and metrosexuals. If you're looking for a great spring/summer fragrance that won't break the bank (and one that your wife/girlfriend won't use when you're not looking), then look elsewhere.

Blind bought this after being fooled by reviews into thinking it smelled even remotely like Declaration, which, let me tell you, it manifestly does not. This is an overpoweringly fruity bubblegum concoction, a blob of cloyingly sweet, cheap, feminine notes. Horribly put together, not even a hint of quality here. Immediate scrubber. EDIT: Well geeeeeze was I cranky this morning. Giving it another shot now and when given time to breathe, it reveals some commendable additional facets. I even pick up the Declaration vibe. It's ever so slight, and almost completely covered in heavy florals, but it's there. The whole thing also veers more unisex as it progresses. All told I'm not the biggest fan, but this will do nicely as a gym bottle, and it's nowhere near as bad as I initially spouted. Gonna leave that review there though because, hey, I'm an idiot and it's funny. RoyalPerez, thanks for the offer, but I just ordered a Declaration flanker that I'm told makes the original redundant in the same collection. If I find that not to be the case I'll get in touch, but don't save the bottle for me or anything :)

This is a perfume that I like to put on when I'm going jogging or doing physical exercise. The scent of citrus is prominent and I can say that it is a citrus fragrance as it is mentioned by Fragrantica too. I can not find any woody or spicy scent.I Consider that it is because of the strong scent of citrus which seem a little chemical too. The longevity and projection is acceptable. I think It lasts at least 6 to 7 hours on your skin. I have found that the projection is as good as the longevity. I like the scent even if it is synthetic and the price is affordable. It is not a good choice for wearing at work or parties and ceremonies. It's totally and sport scent. Its is perfect in summer and spring for daily use. I think it is worth to purchase for daily routines.

I wanted to get something new for spring/summer, so I decided on this one cause I heard good things about. Sometimes I blind-buy fragrances, trying to figure out how it would smells based on its notes and wait in excitement to see if I imagined it correctly or not. As soon as I got this fragrance I tested it, and it was not exactly as I imagined it. The opening is pinching..but do not let that make your wash your hands ans give up on it. As soon as it settles down you will be able to detect bergamot and lemon more noticeable than jasmine that floats around. After about 45 minutes sandalwood is noticeable as well as the geranium. It is nice fragrance clean and neat.

Discovered this while looking for a new scent for a night out, while I usually go for scents which compliment my natural musky aroma, I was pleasantly surprised. This is slightly feminine and lasts all day (about 8 hours), with citrus and vanilla notes it's more of an everyday summer fragrance rather than one that makes a statement and leaves a lasting impression, however for just under £10 a bottle it's not to be sniffed at(!). A little goes a long way with this one so don't bathe in the stuff otherwise you'll choke all those within nose-shot(?). A bargain price for a nice, light and fresh fragrance for those long heady days of summer.

I went to look for a casual good smelling clubbing sort of scent and accidentally stumbled on this one. This is the perfect evening scent - winter summer doesn’t matter. Or the perfect AC room scent. Not a sunny day scent. How does it smell? Like a RICH CREAMY MILKSHAKE of Apple Jasmine lemon and sandalwood - not anything i’ve smelled in India. More like a super luxury body lotion with depth and projection. I louveeeddd it!!!!!!

I've worn this a few times. as people have stated it is a bit synthetic but smells good. Starts out a bit sharp but calms down after a few minutes. I would definitely class this as Unisex, not masculine at all, in fact, quite feminine. Lasting power isn't great but for the price it is quite good value even with the need to touch up every 4 hours. It lasts better on clothes (Undershirt/t-shirt) I would say you could wear this year round and is inoffensive so good for workplace.

It was my first designer perfume thinking Ferrari would be an elite brand. Was thrilled at purchase considerably bought around 35$ price mark at a mall. I liked it initially but in Indian Summers it just fades away after 1-2 hour. Smell was good not so captivating, it was a blind buy based on the Ferrari brand. If I would buy it again? Considering that now I have matured in my fragrance journey and have explored many houses only designers, I am interested in using again

Fnoof, i have a 3.3 bottle of Cartier's declaration if you are interested in swapping? I can kind of see how people compare this to Declaration, but to me this one is a tad on the sweeter side of things where declaration steers clear of anything sweet. Nice frag, though i am not overly impressed with the (perfume) house of the prancing Pony. The search continues.

A good one. This fragrance, despite being launched in recent years, bears something cool, a special vibe from the nineties. Its citrus, fresh and floral spiciness dries down into a light woody musky, yet still fresh base much like the dry down of CK One. It has a great, positive and bright character with a good performance. Shines best outdoors in sunny weather.

This fragrance is very smooth and unoffensive. A nice clean scent. Good for office and daytime. Great value. I would buy again. Update As I've collected more fragrances (around 50 bottles now) I realize this really is a lovely gem and purchased another bottle for 11$. Very clean and fresh. Smells expensive. Doesn't last too long but good.

Is this the same as "Ferrari EDT"? Same bottle, same box, same colors, minus the word "Red". Ferrari EDT is not in the database. Note breakdown looks the same. I got a 125ml bottle of the EDT and my opinion is that while the scent is a pleasant citrus, like most Ferrari Scuderia frags, the performance is poor.

In the middle of a big, open, hilly field littered with tiny wild flowers, like the embodiment a 60's/70's folk rock song, or you've finally reached the Shire. Off to the side is a grove of forest, probably the one where Merlin and Wart ran around as squirrels and got chased by those girl squirrels.

I'm guessing this is exactly the same as Ferrari Yellow, which is a light mix of citrus, fruits, florals and woods. Nothing special. I like Ferrari Scuderia EDT much more, which is similar but has a prominent tea note that I find to be calming.

Weak ass scent. You get a quick melange of citrus and something exotic but it is mostly alcohol as far as I am concerned. A beginner's scent.

Love this. Great for reminding me that early spring will soon be here. Reminds me of Alessandro Dell'Acqua.
