Spring 23

This fragrance was so incredibly boring. I sold it. So was Summer 23. I returned that one and cancelled my membership.

After finally getting through their very odd and unnecessary sign up process, I tried this, and thankfully they let you return and cancel the service. Because this was completely forgettable. Mildly lemon, vaguely herbal, nothing really of note. Also the alcohol they use is fairly unpleasant smelling, and the perfume lasts an extremely short time. I’m not sure I understand the attraction of this brand, fake exclusivity for what is a mediocre product. To be fair I didn’t go through the arduous process to get previous spring perfumes, but It appears to be endless flankers, changing one note each year. However I’d say the theme of this year, sichuan peppercorn, was not perceptible.

This was my first Ffern perfume and my favourite. I have extremely positive memories of traveling during the late Spring of 2023 and this perfume encapsulates those memories. The basil and hay blend is so fresh and intriguing. I tried to sign up to get a backup bottle of this from the Archives but they tried to sign me up again for the ledger for Spring 24. So I just ended up getting someone's Spring 24 off Ebay because it's slightly similar to this. I think I'll just buy their Spring perfume each year from Ebay rather than signing up for the ledger because I don't think the Summer, Winter, and Fall versions are worth it at all.

This was the very first Ffern perfume I ever got and for a while I couldn’t find anything like it. The zesty blend of ginger and citrus is perfection and I didn’t know what to do once I finished my 33 ml bottle. However, Santa Maria Novella’s Bizzarria smells almost exactly similar so it is my replacement.
