Changer

Got this as a sample and am finally wearing it. Rose scents always hit me as a little baby powder-ish and this one was no different. On first spritz it was powdery with a hint of floral, but think more older woman floral than a fresh bouquet (this is a compliment, btw!) As it dries down the tobacco and musk start to come through and mellow the scent, deepening it. All in all, I feel like a very sexy baby- this would be fun in the daytime or on a cute night out with the girls.

I'm a devoted Filigree and Shadow fan, and often reach for both Laughing With a Mouth of Blood and I Made You a Mixtape, I had a sample set laying around that I decided to revisit and was absolutely taken aback by how I'd slept on this fragrance, it's fruity, it's powdery, it's a very specific kind of Olay night cream and sleeping close to grandma in clean sheets (she might have been wearing Guerlain at this point but couldn't tell you for sure, just remember the name being around) I was transported, gleeful, and cozy all at once. Can't wait to take a nice hot shower and apply this fragrance with my moisturizer before bed.

This is like a really sweaty walk through the farmers market at high noon. Peak berry season. Everything sun ripened.
