never would have looked at these notes and guessed it was a Sorcinelli fragrance or even something I would find pleasant to smell, yet I am shocked by how addictive it is and how many times it evolves on the skin. The opening is a strong blend of citrus and metallic notes. It feels clean but never soapy. About fifteen minutes in, it transforms into a very natural, earthy aroma with a whisper of rose. I want to emphasize that the rose note is extremely authentic and not synthetic smelling, which is very important to me. At the thirty minute mark, everything has fully married together. Floral, citrus, slightly incense like and gently spicy, all in perfect balance. It lasts a very long time on the skin, and throughout its wear the notes seem to take turns stepping into the spotlight. I will also note that it leans masculine.

Unlike Filippo's previous limited edition perfumes Free Time and Pincett, which were somewhat out of character in all their unserious levity, this extrait could easily stand as part of the permanent collection. It's unbelievably complex and layered. It first hits you with a warm metal accord, which is soon followed by a delicate incense, somewhat reminiscent of that in L'Artisan Parfumeur's Passage d'Enfer. Gradually, the incense thickens and becomes more churchy, to then make way for a green and bitter leather which really shines in cold weather. This perfume is like a badass priest, who exchanges his clerical garb for a motorcycle jacket after mass and disappears into the night.

Ok obviously I got this one in December, but I left it a few weeks and now I wear it a lot. Probably more than Opus 1144 (which is mad because Opus 1144 is in my top ten of all time). CHI LO VUOLE is very much a church scent, an incense scent; it opens quite masc, but soon dries down into a lovely musty, church-like smell. The kind of 15th century church that's been out of service for a while (yes I've experienced that). Smokey olibanum, rosewood, a slight sweetness, and oakmoss. I do not get leather whatsoever. Beautiful rainy day fragrance. Love it. Lasts forever, and projects well.

Okay I'm coming back to this a few days after my initial review. I've since detected something meaty in here? Possibly due to the metallic notes and citrus I'm not sure where exactly its coming from but it's a steak esque note... mixed with greenery and resins. Very unique

Christmas spices, cold air, green leaves, slight metallic touch but not bloody, the kind that comes when it's really cold outside. Dries down to a zesty, smokey frankincense.

Opening smell bit citrusy, and aromatic, then it turns smokey, reminds me of an ashtray type of smoke, or the new black bin bags type of smell... It's interesting nonetheless, I'm not sure if I like it or not.. but so far to me it smells like I'm in a smoker's car and it's mixed with those car perfume fresheners, embedded in the seat. I have no idea what this has to do with Christmas...
