This one is completely different on skin than it is on the blotter paper. Thankfully, the astringency that dominates on the test strip is dialed way back, making it much more pleasant to wear. The tension between notes of strawberry, wormwood, and amber can make the opening of this fragrance somewhat unsettling, but it works. Like a novel cocktail created by a talented bartender, the exceptional balance produces an intriguing result that draws one back to sample it again and again. The fruit top notes gracefully recede over the first half hour, leaving a pleasant green projection of absinthe and patchouli rounded out by the balsamic notes. Twelve hours later, the woods and incense are a pleasant skin scent. I caught subtle whiffs over the course of the day. This is a work of art. Ignore the disturbing marketing, let the dry down play with your expectations, and enjoy the rest of the ride.

Right off the bat this is quite similar to but not today. Its bloody, metallic, floral, spicy, and animalic, BUT with a stark difference. But not today has this very angry burning hot iron vibe. This however in comparison is colder, its like somthing that's so cold it burns you. While but not today is outright scary, it smells of the hatred of hannibal lector, this smells of the cold uncanny fear that a killer clown instills. Its the colder smoother but more uncanny version of but not today.

Another horror-inspired perfume based on the fear of clowns. It's a continuation of their exploration, which began with BUT NOT TODAY, and it smells similar. But, in my perspective, is it more interesting? It begins with the plastic scent of party balloons, which is really unpleasant, then fades into absinthe and patchouli over time, finally drying down to very beautiful amber and oud. Actually a great scent with a distinct aesthetic that, in my opinion, is overshadowed by his other work.

spring day aromatic for sure. it smells very crisp and pungent because of some of those strong notes, somewhat clean in a spiritually cleansing incense sense. since this is inspired by pennywise the clown, it reminds me so much of the background forestry seen before entering the sewer in some scenes. not my favorite for me personally but it is potent and quite nice if you’re after a strong herbal concoction!

Listen I can wear it, It feels like empty circus where clown is trying to catch you with jumpscare. I can smell bit medicine but ITs good, haha.

It smells excatly like But Not Today, terribile.

Wow, I am genuinely amazed. If I research a popular niche perfumer, I am always drawn to their most popular scents first. I tired Lavs and Reliqvia (the latter was more to my preference) but they didn’t evoke any strong emotion in me. I also tired scent from the collection with cotton ball tops, and the melted tops (inspired by rain, wind and fog) and they were nice enough but simply didn’t move me at all. This scent however, when first sprayed on a tester strip, was very strangely familiar, distant and unnerving at the same time. It was nothing I have ever smelt before. Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to smell “But not today” (that one seemed the most interesting to me based on reviews) but the way many people voted it to be highly similar intrigues me further. This one is hard to describe, I can smell the oud, something fruity but also animalic in there... It is very uncanny. Not wearable but not unwearable either (it’s not a bad smell but inappropriate for most if not all settings) It is just of a very refined taste. I personally like smelling it, but I would not wear it. The clown association wouldn’t be the first thing that comes to my mind, but it is someting sinister and undescribeable... I smell the fun, fruity notes but also the smoky oud... All I know is that now, I really really wish to smell But not today.

It has a very villain-like character. The elegance feels like a costume. Dark, passive aggressive, kind of dirty and impulsive. The opening is rough. It reminded me of those antisocial, slightly psychopathic people you run into in rural Black Sea areas in Turkey. You’re walking, you see smoke ahead, you cross paths with them on the road. They’re doing something but you can’t tell what. In Turkish, we have a phrase. It’s something you say to someone who’s working, kind of like wishing them ease or saying “hope your work goes smoothly.” You say “kolay gelsin” and instead of warmth, you get hit with a cold, hostile “who are you?” That same rudeness and off-putting vibe is in the opening. Crisp, smoky... As it settles, bubble gummy fruits, lavender, and cleaner notes start to come through, and the smokiness fades into the background. It turns into something like a dark grayish green scent. A clean, tie-wearing, polished-shoes kind of man who went into the woods to handle some shady business... and came back with wood smoke and damp green notes clinging to him. So at first, it’s like a rough, unlikable, crude guy from the Black Sea region... and then it turns into a well groomed businessman who just happened to end up there.

I will be very direct. This smells like a burning incense stick, or like moxibustion. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the 'clown' at all, nor the strawberry. Is it my sample, or is it my nose? It reminds me of a forest or a wooden building. The forest must be very dense and damp, and the building must be very old and musty. A wooden building, of course. But there is definitely a smell of something that has been burned, like the lingering scent after a fire. It even smells like an oriental funeral hall, because they burn incense there. If I had to find the 'Clown' in this, it wouldn't be a modern, colorful one. Instead, it would be a classic, ancient clown—worn out, withered, and twisted by time.

Still a masterpiece for the work. But didn't love this for me. A little bit weird. Notes gave me a weird result. Sweaty flowery for me. Almost frangipani like or ylang ylang like witha hint of sweat . ( this is just my personal perception) But didn't love it

At first impression, it does smell similar to But not today; however, that violent intensity disappears pretty quickly, and the dry down feels much milder. For individuals who are drawn to the concept of BNT but find it too heavy to wear.

It's a very unique smell. It does remind me of the But not Today-the same vibe This one smells like a new painted room but in a dusty breath taking way. :)
