Pioggia Forte

Pioggia Forte is a thunderstorm crashing over the ocean, wild, electric, and laced with something almost tender. It opens like the first crack of lightning, where the air is thick with anticipation, gardenia swirling with the salty breath of the sea. Then the rain comes, drenching everything in cool, metallic freshness, while rose petals, delicate and forgotten are scattered in the storm, caught in the wind, softened under the weight of the downpour. As the tempest fades, the scent deepens, moss and amber settling like wet sand beneath bare feet, amber humming in the background, the warmth after the storm. Pioggia Forte isn’t just the smell of rain; it’s the feeling of standing at the edge of the world, drenched in ocean mist, watching the sky crack open in beauty and chaos. This scent is eternal and very potent. Tread lightly.

It's really hard to explain how this smells. It's a very dominant-energy, rather masculine, gloomy but attractive something. The marine notes help you visualize a rainforest. Maybe it's not the proper impression it's supposed to leave on someone, but this perfume smells like hot passionate lovemaking with Tarzan in the jungle, specifically at dusk to me!. (probably because of the overpowering musk and oakmoss combo, not complaining though, enough for me to buy it.)

Even though I’m still on the fence, this is easily one of the simplest and most realistic marine scents I’ve tried. Let me start with what I appreciate: nothing spikes or screams. There’s no calone-style melon sweetness, and no unnecessary citrus glare. The “saltwater” illusion here is built through a quietly convincing combination; an almost driftwood-like musky-salty woodiness, a touch of geranium, and a restrained hint of seaweed. In that sense, it lands among the more convincing, realistic takes on the marine genre. There’s one detail in the mid that makes me hesitate, though: a fleeting, somewhat common fougère feel; like the sort of aromatic structure you might run into anywhere. That’s where I momentarily disconnect. The drydown, however, brings me back. The drydown is where this fragrance truly settles: like salt-soaked paper left to dry. It evokes the atmosphere of a hidden, submerged library; an old coastal academy where dark water magic is studied with restraint and discipline. Not theatrical sorcery, but knowledge practiced in silence, guided by a saline arcane undercurrent and the quiet weight of academic ritual. Whereas Nebbia Spessa made me rather nauseous, the marine note here is well-balanced with a pleasant and oddly sexy little floral aspect. The mossy/woody base is reminiscent of a little something from aftershave, but I'm not entirely sure if I can smell the jasmine/benjoin notes in depth. However, the geranium comes out on the drydown, with almost a little Iso E aspect, and it's a scent that actually becomes very pretty and lively - a warm and cold presence at the same time, a cashmere scarf in a cold neck, a wood and stainless steel apartment, the little stomach anxiety before the first meeting with a guy you crushed on on Tinder. The balance remains in the direction of a strangely constructed aquatic fragrance on the top notes, which could go completely unnoticed at first but becomes a sensual juice. Completely legitimate in the league of its peers in the drydown.

quite a surprising one from this house - to my mind, it's very much in line with mainstream marine masculines. while it does have a subtle sorcinelli twist, i can't help but be a bit struck by how 'normal' it smells. what REALLY strikes me, though, is how insanely strong and long-lasting this fragrance is. my god. i am dominated by it. pioggia forte LEAPS off my skin, and lasts much longer than 24 hours. a few hours after spraying, i put on a jumper. three days later, i put on that jumper and the day's fragrance is utterly eclipsed by the shadow of pioggia forte.

For me ar the start this was a bit boring. Boy, was i wrong! The more i wear it the more i love it. Ozonic, fresh, sexy, little mysterious. Longevity is insane and sillage aswell. Worth every penny!

Whether I want to or not, I have to come to terms with aromatic scents not working for me. It’s a lot and I don’t think it’ll wear off anytime soon. I tried scrubbing it but it’s still there, just as powerful. Sadly, I don’t get any rose, amber or jasmin. Only when I really concentrate, I can detect fleeting floral notes. It’s entirely too harsh for me. I wish I’d like it.

It took me some time to start enjoy this fragrance.Its hard to describe how it smells, its dark and green and blue. It smells like washed oakmoss from the sea in cold full moon night. In drydown its very similar to opening of nebbia fitta, some synthetic blue smell. After couple of days i can still smell the perfume out of my clothes. I think i will prefer this one more like clothing perfume than skin, sometimes im using it like room spray. It mixed with Quando rapita perfume on my shirt, the smell of this 2 blended together is incredible good smell! If this perfume represent rain, then raindrops are like needles. This is how i imagine italian perfume, full of energy and contrast. Feel bit insecure to wear it in society, but home alone im really enjoying it.

Smelled Nebbia Spessa first and thought darn, that's a potent but unremarkable pacific marine fragrance in the same vein as just about every other pacific marine fragrance (cold, salty, sharply aquatic). HERE is the interesting one. I can't even begin to pick notes out of this - unmistakably watery but unusual, exotic smelling florals dancing all throughout - something keeps ALMOST reminding me of cumin or curry but it floats away in a fraction of a second before I can even begin to think about that smell. This is fantastic.
