Boom! Tuscan Leather smell-alike. (OK, there are probably some subtle differences but the very first thing that hit me when I smelled this was Tuscan Leather - very close) Love it! TL at Nordstrom is $300 per 1.7 fl. oz. I bought a 2 fl.oz. bottle of this stuff for $30 at a Target. It lasts about as long or almost as long. I love TL. Guess what I'm buying from now on? By the way... This has honest-to-goodness OAKMOSS in it. (Check the box: Evernia Prunastri.) But it's the new, treated oakmoss. Screw IFRA!

The more I wore this the more I liked it. This is a great fragrance. Even better when factoring the price . It really gets close to ombre leather at the very least it gives you the spot on vibe. It's ombre leather with just a tad of sweetness . Everyone that has smelled it say it smells expensive. It does last a bit. 6 hours on skin. I give this an 8.5/10

Smells like the name, not harsh but smooth. I use it for layering.

I just wanna start off by saying that this cologne really pulls through with the smell of leather and smoke, BUT... I don’t recommend wearing it alone. It’s a great smelling cologne and I can really smell the leather and the tobacco, but it’s a bit weak. There’s a slight sweetness in there too, it’s almost a floral sweetness that I can’t exactly pinpoint. I personally recommend layering this one with a cologne that has similar notes, I’m currently layering it with Maison Margiela’s replica “Jazz Club” and it’s probably going to be my new thing now.

Smells nothing like Tuscan leather. Get the heck outta here. I have an interpretation of Tuscan leather by Azzaro. Doesn't smell like ombre leather either. This smells like the designated smoke break area at the leather factory. The only way I can recommend giving this a spray on the old billiard sack is if the lucky lady has tattoos over a sensitive area

A diet Tim Ford Ombré Leather EDP. Lacks the depth of what it is aiming to clone. Slightly synthetic, but less than you would expect. Longevity and performance are pretty weak as well. Can’t really knock it for the cheap price tag though. This could be alright for layering with something else if you just want some added leathery qualities.

bought this as a gift for my stepfather and he likes it. i tested it out before giving it to him and it's not bad! a lot of colognes smell the same to me but this one has a very distinct leather note. it lasts a long time and isn't abrasive but be careful not to overapply. a date night perfume for the southern working man

I recently procured a new bottle of Fine’ry Smoke & Leather at Target at the full retail price of 29.99. It was on a round, free-standing display table with all of the other fragrances from the new Mens lineup. Each had a “scratch & sniff” sticker on the top of the box for testing. A clever (yet somewhat flawed) marketing idea. Some of those stickers were scratched up pretty bad rendering many useless, but the ones that worked, worked well enough to have an adequate representation of the scent. This one was the only one where the sticker failed entirely and no scent could be detected. I made my purchase (like many other blind buys) based on the notes. It is somewhat of a misnomer calling it “cologne” if it is an ADP concentration. Again, more marketing to the target audience: The Target Audience : The younger gent , not too fragrance saavy but knows what he likes. Mainly department store or Designer bands in his cabinet....but likely nothing niche, and still refers to all male fragrances as “cologne” even if they are extrait de parfum because “men” don’t wear parfum, they wear “cologne”. Moving On.... The fragrance itself... I know what they were aiming for with this product and I have a somewhat mixed review. I would by lying to you (and myself) if I said it was not somewhat reminiscent of Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Not a clone. Definitely somewhat reminiscent though. Smoke and Leather has a more overstated opening of a quite linear fruit note that somewhat misses the mark if they were going for raspberry. It is more outspoken than the other notes at the opening. It seemed like it was somewhere in between raspberry & cherry...but not as smooth, well blended & natural smelling as TFTL’s gorgeous raspberry. The leather accord was pleasant & somewhere in the nieghborhood of the black leather in TL, more so than in Ombre Leather in my opinion. Smokiness was light, and more of a perceived suggestion of a note than a purposeful one, along with the wood note. The whole composition smelled slightly synthetic because of the opening fruit accord..but it is not unpleasant or off-putting. I can imagine somebody smelling this (who has never experienced Tuscan Leather) and really liking it, and I think thats what the marketing team was banking on. To an inexperienced nose, or a fella who is just starting his collection, this would stand out from the typical lineup of aquatics & freshies like Aqua Di Boring & etc....certainly more daring and bold. Final Thoughts: Not a clone of Tuscan Leather, but similar enough to make up your mind if you like fragrances in that scent family. Great price, decent value for the expense. Not very long lasting, but has very good lift off the skin & projection. The drydown is better then initial application. THE VERDICT: “It’s pretty good”

Smoke and leather is a good inspired-by of Tom Ford's Ombre Leather. But I would just save up and buy the Tom Ford. The smell isn't bad. Certainly took a couple of wears to get used to it. I've certainly come around to the smell but hated the tester I smelled in the store. Fine'ry has a habit of making fragrances not last very long. And this one lasted about as long as my first time in bed. The dry down takes 15 minutes and lasts about another 5 before becoming a skin scent. And once thats done it stops smelling like smoke or leather and takes on an almost fruit-leather scent. Spraying it on clothes did not help. Except my leather jacket. It was bound to that for two weeks before the scent wore off. All and all for $30 if you want to test pilot an ombre leather before comitting to Tom Ford I reccomend it. but it isn't a signature scent and I won't be rebuying it.

I tried this out. It smells like Toscano Leather from Maison Alhambra, but not quite as strong. It does project well from your hands. If I was a fan of Tuscan Leather I would probably like this. I think the lighter tone of this scent prevents it from getting too far into the pipe tobacco smell.

I went into this one blind. I don't know what was with the tester bottle they had at my local Target, but in the air it immediately reminded me of my Tuscan Leather but like muddied with the smell of roasted peanuts. Same deal on my skin. There is a tiny bit of a raspberry accord here that doesn't stick with the fragrance, it just kinda screams out in the opening and then dies pretty quickly. As it dries down, it becomes a more transparent Tuscan Leather, still with that strange peanut-y note. Maybe it's just some earthy thing they were trying to do, like some low quality synthetic soil tincture mixed with also pretty low quality raspberry ketone (and sweetness from it) to create some sort of accidental peanut accord, but honestly try before you buy with this stuff, and really get to know that peanut accord. YMMV on whether you pick that nuance up, but I own Tuscan Leather and it confirmed my suspicions, I've never gotten any remotely nutty scent from my Tuscan Leather. That doesn't mean I think that accord is out of place. It's honestly unique in this regard from anything I've ever smelled before, let alone clones or dupes, and it might just be more worth it to buy than Toscano Leather if you happen to like that facet.

Impressive scent for only 30 dollars. It's a smoky leather with semi sweet smell. Very mature and serious smelling. It does not smell like Tuscan Leather. It doesn't have the Raspberry perfume and Cocaine smell. This one smells more like a an actual dollar bill with some soft plum. Update The performance is about 12 hours. The far drydown smells similar to far drydown of Chanel Antaeus, which is the best part of Antaeus. This is definitely a must have. It is so dank and musky for only 30 bunks, it's definitely a must buy for fragrance snobs. Robes08 😂

I think this wasn't meant to be a dupe of Tom Ford Ombre Leather like many say, so go in with the expectation of a unique fragrance. From that standpoint, its a nice, smoky leather. Nothing too special and it's actually rather weak for an leather based fragrance, which means if you're just getting into leather notes, this might be a really good first pick up.

Straight up leather. I'm not getting smoke or tobacco. The upside is that the leather is pretty accurate and not the synthetic "grapey" smell that I get in TF ombre leather. As it dries down, it becomes more unisex to my nose. Too linear for me.

Target’s Tom Ford attempt. I’m not a big fan of Ombré Leather, but this is for sure in the same family. Not my vibe.

Great dupe of ombre leather, can't complain. Good projection and even greater longevity
