RE-REVIEW 4/12/23: Forget what I said, I actually LOVE this? I think maybe the body spray of this is really different and the tester I tried in the store was better but not quite up to snuff. Once I snagged my own bottle I smelled what everyone else is smelling! This is creamy, Coppertone sunscreen heaven! The perfect summer fragrance. It's clean and nothing sugary here to feel cloying in the heat. It really does just smell like a nice sunscreen, which is exactly what I wanted. So good! Original review: Several reviews comparing this to sunscreen pushed me over the edge to blind buy this (stupid). I got the body mist to save some coin. Absolutely hate it. 👍 Doesn't smell like anything sunscreeny, creamy, or tropical to me personally. All I got was strong allergenic, borderline spicy floral. This very very closely mirrors my disappointment with Heat Wild Orchid and Hollister Wave 2. If you like those, you'll probably enjoy this. It does kind of smell expensive, I think? It's not bad by any means but please don't buy it if you're expecting a light sunscreen scent. Thankfully I was able to resell quickly. EDIT: I've come to love almost every fragrance in this line. I've also realized the body sprays aren't that great, and they pretty much all *need* to dry down before judging. So I went to Target and sprayed this EDP to give it a proper retry. It actually is quite lovely and definitely well-blended, like the others in the line. It's way too sharp at first; you HAVE to let this one dry down. Once it dries down I do get the creaminess others reference. I still wouldn't say this smells like sunscreen per se, but if I search for it I can see where people are making that connection. It's absolutely a 'solar' fragrance through and through. This is straight up rich b*tch summer vibes. I'm still trying to decide if it's something I'll wear because historically I hate orange blossom, but there is enough niceness here that it almost overrides that. It's like patchouli; 90% of the time I hate it, but in the right perfume it all works in conjunction. I will likely keep my eyes peeled for a resale bargain on this and then grab it, because I do love the idea of wearing this on a hot summer day. Especially if I can get myself to a beach. This just makes me think of hot sand, in the best way.

sun-phoria genuinely smells like happiness in a bottle to me. i've tried a lot of the fine'ry scents (they're super affordable and they're what got me into perfume in the first place), and i think sun-phoria is the best one. it's the only beachy perfume i've tried so far that i don't find incredibly cloying. it's sweet and definitely summery, but it's not overwhelming to me. i've tried JHAG's vanilla vibes and replica beach walk, and i found both of those to be pretty gross. sun-phoria, however, has this lovely sunscreen vibe to it that instantly brings up good memories and never fails to put me in a better mood. if i had to drink a perfume, i'd pick this one. my only complaint is that i wish the longevity was better. only lasts a few hours on me. but that's okay!!!

Honestly? I don’t consider myself an orange blossom fan at all. I don’t generally like citrus scents. However the monoi oil adds something so wondrous that this may be the frag that changes my mind. And it’s so cheap! This is the type of bright, citrus smell that doesn’t smell cloying or immature, but elegant and youthful at the same time. It smells like you were lost in a dark forest and befriended an ageless forest nymph who shoes you the secrets of the world. Love it! I haven’t smelled what it’s a supposed dupe for an generally not a TF fan, but I kind of want to try the original now too. I tried the tester at Target and it was sold out. Can’t wait til it’s back in stock.

Found this at T.J Maxx heard it was perfect for summer and it is! I LOVE this one! Its my kind of vibe for summer, beachy scent. THIS DOES NOT smell like Soliel Blanc at all. Sick to death of every review saying it smells like SB when on ALL summer scents. This drys down and almost smells like a lemon pound cake on ME. Not exactly what I like at all, and yet everytime I spray this i love it! To me it reminds me of Sun and Sand scented candle. That sun and sand scent has me in a choke hold, and now im on the hunt for more like that! This goes well with Solar Shine from BBW, the mix of coconut, vanilla, monoi, orange blossoms 🌸

I wasn’t expecting to love this one as much as I do, but oh my, this is FANTASTIC for a cheap, beachy scent! It lasts forever, too. The opening is sharp but dries down to a creamy suntan lotion. Actually, it reminds me more of old-school tanning oil on hot, sunny skin, which was, to me, THE scent of summer vacation when I was young. I would never sit out in the sun with tanning oil now, so I’m happy to be reacquainted with such a nostalgic scent. It’s a new favorite.

When I first got my Sun-Phoria bottle, I found the scent to be screechy and harsh; however, after spraying it a couple of times and letting it sit, the juice improved CONSIDERABLY. The fragrance is so much more mellow and pleasant now and I find it to be a really satisfying summer reach. Hopefully, this helps some of those who are considering giving up on their bottles - after about a month, it might show improvement. You never know!

I heard about this new line at Target, and THIS was the one that immediately caught my attention. Normally I do not really care for orange blossom, but the monoi really softens and sweetens it. It smells just like how you want to smell in the summer-kinda beachy, kinda sweet, but not overpowering at all. It dries down to a soft, warm, almost vanilla-y amber with just a hint of the neroli. And for the price? She's a good one, ya'll.

Sunscreen is not listed as a note but this a very sunscreen forward summer scent. I normally don't care for sunscreen scents but the light floral and somewhat citrusy notes balance it out. This is perfect for summer and evokes images of lazing by a crisp, clean pool in the sun. I like layering this scent with other tropical scents to make it more sweet or fresh depending on the mood. Definitely an easy reach for hot summer days.

This is so exotic smelling! The smell is a creamy powdery sweet white floral but also very airy. The woodiness adds a little depth, doesnt make it too heavy or strong though. Theres something about this that reminds me of Cant stop loving you by Kilian (which i love!), like Sun Phoria is a less sweet and less earthy version of it but they smell very similar. Ive been mixing this with Saltair Salt Water Vanilla, soo good!

As an avid lover of Mason Margiela’s Beach Walk, this was my IMMEDIATE connection to it. Sprayed on my hand to try it out, awfully strong at first but after 15 minutes mellowed out and definitely radiated for a while. One spray didn’t last me too long, but I definitely smelled hints after a while and felt it could have lasted longer with MAYBE one or two more sprays elsewhere. Definitely added to my list for the summer.

I'm so so so so SO sad Finery discontinued this fragrance from their lineup!!! I gave it to my mom as a gift and loved the way it smelled on her. The combination of florals in this one was heavenly... so summery and bright! The monoi/tiare flower note in this reminded me a lot of the plumeria flowers we used to have in our garden. Alas, nothing so good can last forever ;-; I miss it...

I absolutely love this. I’m a big fan of orange blossom and tiare / monoi, so I knew I’d be a fan of this. It also has a touched of amber to it, that makes it feel a bit more luxurious and gives it some depth. It smells even better than I imagined!! I got the body spray so I can layer it with my tiare centered fragrances over the summer.

I can’t pinpoint this as Soleil Blanc, Bronzed Goddess, etc. It’s in that family of fresh orange blossom that sometimes is sweet in the sunshine, and sometimes more like sunscreen with the monoi. Amberwood creates depth. The cherry one was sold out so I went with this as my next favorite.

lake-side cottage. you smell like delicious sunscreen and the world smells like wood and sweetness. the door is open and you can almost smell the flowers. it works in both the summer and the winter, for some reason!?

this is AMAZING. beautiful warm, soft orange blossom. such a good summer scent. people who think this smells like sunscreen are nose blind. everyone thinks anything tropical smells like sunscreen.

Upon first smelling this, I was instantly reminded of Lush's Sea Salt hair spray! Smells almost identical to it. It's such a beautiful scent.

This is a pretty, tropical, orange blossom. I love it for both spring and summer. It's very smooth and pretty.

An extremely sweet tropical suntan lotion vibe and I'm here for it

I blind bought this based on the notes and my own curiosity. Also, I haven't tried tf Soleil Blanc, so whether this is comparable or not is unknown to me. This is really interesting! I didn't know what to expect going into it, but I'm pleasantly surprised. At first spray it is very like the dry warmth of Dior Dune. Looking at the notes, I'm not sure what's causing that but it's there. There's also creamy white flowers, a little vanilla, and coconut and citrus. The coconut is fairly soft and doesn't overpower the other notes. I think this is well blended, and doesn't give me a suntan lotion feel, but maybe more of a summer one. I'm looking forward to trying this in warm weather, however, I'm wearing this today in 40 degree weather and its beautiful. As it fades it loses a lot of the dryness but retains the warmth and the notes are still discernable. It seems to have a fairly long staying power, but doesn't project strongly. This wouldn't normally be my go to type of scent, but I do really like it and can see myself wearing it.

I’ve never smelled Soleil Blanc but have always wanted to, and orange blossom is one of my favorite notes, so I was excited to spray the tester at Target. I’m not sure if it’s the woody note or the monoi oil but the opening is musky or oily or something and kind of unpleasant. As this dries down it gets sweeter and kind of sunscreen-y in a pleasant way and I almost smell coconut. It’s nice but feels a little incomplete and I wish the orange blossom were more prominent. I have PDM Safanad and it’s a much better luxe sunscreen-y fragrance. I may test the original TF in a sample size before I decide to buy this.

I know this is intended to be a summer fragrance, with the name saying it all, but I am from Texas where the Fall is 80% summer weather and 20% winter weather. I would personally still use this in the Fall. I've also found it to layer beautifully over warm fall fragrances, giving them a sweet floral touch. I know many say this is a heady fragrance but I quite like how pronounced the scent actually is. It's a warm floral, and as far as I've heard discontinued now ? I'm thinking this may be one I may want a backup bottle of before it becomes difficult to find.

I purchased this one because I adore orange blossom and find it difficult to find in an affordable fragrance. To my nose, the most identifiable notes are the orange blossom, a fruit syrup-type component, and amber. You do need to really love amber to enjoy it. And yes, it smells like a luxurious sunscreen. Because of the sweetness, I will still wear it into cooler months. Tips: With all Finery fragrances, buy the EDP instead of the body mist. It pairs so well with Britney Spears Intimate Fantasy. What a combo!

I have TF Soleil Blanc and I can understand the comparison. However, I also have Memo Paris Sintra and can honestly say it gives me that scent makeup also minus the sweet marshmallow scent. However, it can be achieved by layering with a gourmand that highlights marshmallow or sweet almond. The scent by itself projects greatly the amber and orange blossom immediately show up. Always aim for the EDP or the body sprays with Fine'ry as the scents have more body in the EDP versions.

I have Soleil Blanc. Two bottles of it - travel and full size - because I’m an idiot and keep trying to make myself like it. It is screechy and headache inducing. This is not. Soleil Blanc has a true sunscreen accord that also appears in Coco Shimmy (Sniff) and in both it is instant migraine for me. Also happened with old Bobby Brown Beach. Sun-Phoria is missing the sunscreen accord so I get some nice tropical tanning lotion, coconut, monoi vibes and no migraine. 👍

This is a lovely sunscreen scent, and the monoi and orange blossom are lovely at the top. Unfortunately for me the drydown is pure amber on me and there's not enough of the vanilla to pull it into the 'sweet spot.' It's beautiful and if I got it as a gift I'd enjoy it, but I don't want to spend my coins on it for now. ETA: ended up getting a bottle and returning it. Turns absolutely foul with the choking synthetic amber notes.

I love love love the smell of sunscreen, so this wasn't an immediate turn off to me because of that. What got me was the fact that it soon becomes overpowering enough that it made me sneeze, and then immediately dissipates. Worth the money if you like a beachy sunscreen scent, but at the same time you may be better off buying some sunbum and actually protecting your skin.

Now THIS is what summer smells like. It smells like tanning underneath the hot July sun. Sitting on the beach with a large sun hat. Drinking fruity drinks. It does smell like tanning lotion but I'm nostalgic for that scent. I grew up wearing JLO Glo Miami in high-school. This is a great way to smell like a tanned summer babe without the sun damage lol

Smells like sunscreen. If you like that, you’re golden. I found it pleasantly comforting and nostalgic for beach trips as a kid. My coworker really liked it as well and I ended up giving it to her. I haven’t smelled Soleil Blanc so can’t compare, but this smells similar to JHAG Lust for Sun in that they’re both very much sunscreen beach smells.

This smells like summer, running around on the beach after using banana boat sunscreen. It's very creamy and the white florals are almost powdery. It is perfect for the summer, I love to wear it in June and July. I think this is similar to soleil blanc, but sweeter and not as smooth.

I have struggled with this one, because it seemed so strong on me. It really does make me think of a hot sunny day. I layered it with a cheap vanilla I found at TJ Maxx, and it took ot up a notch. Now there's a warmth with a little spice. I can't wait to wear it out on a hot day.

Sun-Phoria sits somewhere between Terracotta and Soleil Blanc however, it has much better performance than Terracotta. Somewhat airy and less sweet, bringing it closer to Soleil Blanc. Quite enjoyable with good performance. Great value if you like the sun screen-like perfumes.

I've had it for a few months, and the scent is growing on me. I oversprayed the first couple of times that I wore it and didn't like it. This scent and my JHAG Lust for Sun are a nice break from my fresh aquatics that I reach for during the week.

It is definitely a warm sweet summer solar vibe. It’s like a dupe of soleil blanc but take out the warm spices that make soleil blanc amazing? Ha it’s more like Terracotta. Not really worth full price , I always use Mercari first.

The woodiness of this just completes this. I’m usually not the person to like ‘lotiony’ or ‘sunscreen’ smells but this is just amazing.

Fine’ry never disappoints. Even when it's not your favorite fragrance ever, Fine'ry fragrances are always complex and interesting, especially for the price point. I found Sun-Phoria at TJ Maxx for $14.99, and I've seen it a few times since I originally bought it this summer. It smells like summer. Like, it’s the first weekend of summer vacation 2003 and you’re going to the fancy water park in the suburb on the other side of the city with your best friend and that weird kid who might be your teacher’s son. It smells like the kind of sunscreen that foreshadows a two week-long sunburn because you’re having so much fun and you don’t reapply. It smells exactly like Libre Flowers & Flames. The two fragrances are identical to me, even though the notes as listed on Fragrantica are so different. Neither one smells like white floral to me. They are sunscreen. This is for a hot day at the pool.

I purchased this in winter. Maybe I was longing for summer at the time. Now that summer is here, I don't like the fragrance. There's something screechy, sort of chemical about it. The monoi doesn't smell fresh and breezy. Instead of tropical summer, I get dried flowers on a city sidewalk on a scorching day. It a somewhat unique fragrance profile compared to the many flowal gourmands which are trending right now. I wore this to the pool last week and my friends complimented me on how good it smelled. The verdict, it's not bad and for some it's even likeable but just not for me.

This is a great inexpensive dupe for the discontinued Classique Essence, which I LOVE. I only have one bottle left of that one, so Sun-Phoria it is! A lot of summer fragrances tend to be too fresh for my taste, but this is perfect. I am over 40 though, and I definitely prefer more mature fragrances. For reference, my other summer favorites are Acqua di Gio (not Gioia), Elie Saab, and Light Blue Sun, which to me are deeper than the typical summer freshie. I love this!

Sunscreeny for sure, but not a fun banana/coconut scent like Hawaiian Tropic or Sun Bum. I liked it a lot in the store, enough to actually buy a bottle, but I seem to have soured to it. Maybe less like sunscreen and more like bug spray, it smells like there's something in there to ward things away.

Smells strongly of alcohol at first but then it smells like cheap sunscreen. While it’s fairly inexpensive for a perfume, it’s probably better to just wear sunscreen if you like the scent.

So.... I kind of think this is disgusting. I’ve heard of comparisons to sunscreen and it’s not quite that, because to me scented sunscreen smells good and tropically! It’s weird because based on the notes I thought I would love this, but totally not the case. To me this almost smells like a pharmacy, a clean pharmacy - so maybe a cleaner? Or an unscented sunscreen, like the chemicals that make up the scent of sunscreen before yummy tropical scents are added. There’s also something kind of forest-y to it? I don’t know, can’t quite put my finger on it. I kind of wish it had some sweetness, maybe some coconut or vanilla. I should add that where I live it’s very cold right now. I don’t hate this enough to return it or gift it quite yet. Im curious to see if this will bloom in the heat and smell better in the summer. Would highly, highly recommend smelling this one before buying!

I really wanted to like this...I think it's the orange blossom with the amber wood that is throwing me off, when I first sprayed it I thought it had gone bad or rancid, as I purchased it from the clearance rack at TJMAXX on a whim based off of the name alone and thought it was going to be a nice spring/summer fragrance to my disappointment. It's a unique scent in that I have never smelt anything like it, but in this case that is not a good thing. Excuse my rant but I do not get the draw or fascination with this scent, because it is pretty popular. But to each their own, respectfully. I would give it away if I could. I almost threw it away a few times...any takers?

This has all of the tanning oil beachy vibes that you are looking for, if that is your thing. Great for a sunny day outdoors. The dry down is floral, but still has that sun tan lotion/oil in the backdrop. I finally got my hands on a bottle of this discontinued perfume. It is a shame they got rid of it. Is it my favorite Fine'ry perfume? No. However I am happy to have it in my collection. I finally have the entire line! Rate: 6/10

I love the scent of orange blossom and that was the scent I initially got even I sampled this. I bought it without getting a feel for the dry down and ended up returning it. It dries down very powdery. It smells old fashioned and dated. EVA NYC has a hair mask that smells exactly like this stuff.

This is one of those white florals that shows up bleu-cheesy on me. It does NOT smell like Soleil Blanc...I literally wore that one yesterday and it's lovely! I really like a lot of white florals, but something about some of them is awful with my skin chemistry.

Sunscreen scented baby powder. Found this at Marshalls and decided to buy it as I love Soleil Blanc. Unfortunately this was a miss for me. It turns way too powdery and synthetic on me, and lacks the creaminess of Soleil Blanc.

saw this at a Marshall’s and was curious, because they usually don’t have real perfume from a mainstream brand in their “open display” of fragrances. smells like bug spray.
