lovechild of nemat's vanilla musk & viva vanilla by b&bw (if u r a hater of b&bw like me, walk w me 🤝) . to my nose , i get vanilla, marshmallow , smoke , & musk . and a subtle whisper of cacao .. i wish the cacao note was a bit more prominent . i also weirdly get plum from this fragrance bc it heavily reminds me of mod vanilla & viva vanilla .. but its not fruity ... ??? so weird . anyway either way BEST "drugstore" (i got this from target lol) body mist i've ever purchased - however sillage + longevity is absolute CHEEKS 😭😭 the audacity of finery to allow this fragrance to bless my olfactory system then 7 mins later when i go for a second sniff be GONE ???? sickening 😞 literally 7 mins in heaven bc this scent is DELICIOUS .. delicious , edible , n intoxicating without smelling like literal food (i still love foodie gourmands tho .. those r my roots 🌱) i just wish it LASTED 😭😭 i just bought this body mist like 3 days ago and i've prolly sprayed it about 600 times since then and my bottle STILL isnt even halfway used yet . i wish this perfume was alcoholless so i could spray it all over .. or a perfume oil .. omg . all i know is i except to be able to buy this body mist when im 90 years old .. yall bet not discontinue this EVER .. thank ya🤝🤝🙂↕️

I just got this in the mail today and it's lovely. I can't speak on the longevity or anything just yet. I have read reviews that said this is a dupe for TF Tobacco Vanille. It is absolutely NOT a dupe. Not even close to my nose! It IS however, an exact dupe to Eilish IMO. Since this was a blind buy, I can say I am definitely happy to have it in my collection! Edit: Just to add to my brief review above, this has a slightly sourish scent. I don't mean that in a bad way! I smell the same not immediately in Eilish (1) as well. I don't have to most experienced nose in the world so I don't know what note it is. It's exactly why I feel it's a very good dupe. I just compared them side to side with my Eilish itty bitty bottle. I feel like it's in the same "family" as Sabrina Carpenter's Sweet Tooth (the orig.). It has that sort of creamy somewhat marshmallow scent. I am waiting for the full drydown see if I get what others seem to get most often with this one. I am impressed with the strength of this fragrance. I def does not have a cheap "feel". It doesn't smell like pure alcohol nor a body spray (I have the perfume version). I think it's quite a little gem!!

Recently obtained the EDP version at a discounted price. As a male, I do have a special place in my heart for the warm, comforting embrace of a well-made vanilla fragrance. Sweet On The Outside is a very well-blended vanilla with a great sweet, yet sultry whisper of smokiness. I would absolutely characterize this as a “unisex” fragrance, but can understand why some (female) reviewers state it leans too far masculine.... because thats one of the factors that drew me to it to begin with. It has good longevity & is very well crafted for the price point. Its pretty linear, and the above listed notes are indeed an accurate representation of the fragrance which remains quite linear throughout its duration. I own several vanilla fragrances, and this one is great on its own or layered. Very pleased with the quality for the price point! The Verdict: EXCELLENCE!!

on my skin its an exact dupe for eilish by billie eilish (the 1st one) and it smells sooo good. the only slight difference is the red berry note but it literally smells the same to me. obviously the projection isn’t too intense which is great. but i can really smell it on myself just walking around and it does definitely have some good projection and silage (around arms length or with closer contact with people) which i think is great for the low price. i got this because i returned eilish because it didn’t have any silage or longevity on me and this one does:) smells super cozy like a warm vanilla blanket, definitely a compliment getter and your s/o will love it on you too. not too sweet or smoky either. just buy it, its so good. if you really wanna make the scent last get the matching body spray with it or layer it with a lotion.

I’m in love with this fragrance. I detect vanilla from beginning to end, and it lasts several hours. I notice notes of tonka, very soft woods (maybe cedar), and sugar. It lands eventually smelling akin to a creamery—waffle cone with rich vanilla ice cream. Thankfully, I don’t ever smell the smoke note, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there are tiny amounts of gardenia and cardamom. Although, I like Eilish, I have teen children in my house, and I knew they wouldn’t appreciate me using a bottle with the bare female form (“Ugh, mom, why?! Please don’t use that in front of my friends!” etc. 😆). **Note about Finer’y: the body mists just don’t do the fragrances justice on their own. Fine for layering or refreshing, but the first two scents I purchased, I got the mist first. I immediately returned for the perfume.

I have worn many popular and expensive perfumes and I have received the most compliments on this one by far. Good for a budget and lasts FOREVER. I'll go to do laundry a week after spraying it onto an article of clothing that's been sitting under dirty clothes and I can still smell it. Despite its longevity, I never find it to be too overpowering of a scent no matter how generously I apply it - it just lasts and smells great. I usually do not gravitate towards sweeter scents, but the pairing with woody fragrances (which I do prefer) combined with the compliments I get led me to repurchase this multiple times and use as my everyday scent. Works better in the winter/fall, but I find myself still wearing it in the spring and summer and it doesn't feel out of place.

Similar to Eilish, but with no spice or fruit. It's a really nice and sweet, slightly smoky vanilla. It's simple but IMO a beautiful blend of all the listed notes. This was one of the first things I bought when I was starting to get into fragrances and it has remained one of my favorites ❤️ I feel like it fits my vibe and being so affordable I reach for it very often. Admittedly though, it is a bit lacking in depth, at least in the body mist. There's not much body to it and sometimes it strikes me as a little flat or watered down. It's definitely not a creamy, lactonic vanilla. That being said I still love it. I haven't smelled the perfume in a while because all I had was a tiny sample bottle, but I feel like it had some more depth compared to the mist.

I blind bought 6/9 of the collection based on notes that I generally like and I thinnnk this is my favorite of the bunch. I don’t have Eilish, but for me this is a perfect vanilla! I’ve been looking for a standard vanilla like this for a while. The tonka and vetiver add a bit of complexity that keeps it from leaning too sweet or gourmand. I don’t really smell any smoke, BUT there is a slightly toasty element to it. I bought the EDP and longevity has been surprisingly well, two sprays and I can still smell it ~6 hours later on my sweater. This also has decent sillage, you won’t be smelled before entering a room, but you might leave a nice little trail as you leave. Highly recommend checking this out if you like vanilla!

Discovered this scent as being a dupe for Eillish No. 1, but personally I have to disagree; while the scents are similar, I feel that Sweet on the Outside has a much more unique, gourmand composition as opposed to Eillish No. 1's floral vanilla scent, in my opinion. I really love Sweet on the Outside. It is a very warm, sweet vanilla scent that reminds me of hot cocoa; but it is not chocolatey at all. It's a lovely, long lasting, almost edible smelling fragrance that I recieve compliments on every time I wear it. The simple, yet pleasantly comforting composition of vanilla, tonka bean, vetvier, and some smoky undertones really comes together to make a cozy casual fragrance. Worth a try without breaking the bank!

So generic, there are about a million perfumes that smell like this but it smells GOOD. It’s an objectively fantastic perfume for its price point. Great for layering under almost anything else since it’s so inoffensive and cozy. I doubt there’s a person alive who would dislike this fragrance, so it’s an incredibly safe choice for a first date or job interview or even somewhere like work or church/temple, etc., just don’t expect to stand out. Don’t worry dear, they’ll remember you, just not for how you smell(other than it being pretty dang nice and normal). I love it, feels like a great daily wear.

ive bought this body mist twice now and ive lost it BOTH times .. atp i think its a sign i jus shouldnt have it so i give tf up 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 (im gonna buy it again anyway💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔) it really does smell 1:1 like viva vanilla , mod vanilla , bare vanilla , etc. w a slight smokeiness tho 10/10 would & will buy again but imma need it to stop hiding from me update: i found it & it smells just as good after sitting for a couple months 🫠🫠 dried down this is the softest creamiest vanilla ever but when u spray it its this slightly woody slightly smokey slightly musky vanilla its so weird

I have the body mist of this fragrance, and oddly enough, I experience no smokiness whatsoever when I spray it on my skin or clothing. It simply smells like sweet and nondescript candy immediately, then dries down into a very fluffy, light and pleasant vanilla. I have to admit I like it far more than Eilish though, as Eilish turns metallic on me. I also like it more than Maison Asrar's Soiree which I find to be sickeningly synthetically sweet and floral. The latter is a great option though if you love this scent profile and want something way stronger. :)

This is a beautiful soft almost smokey vanilla. You will literally smell so sweet without also smelling like a middle school locker room. (I'll be smelling like cotton candy even when I'm 60 though) It's kind of hard to find sweet perfumes that don't immediately register as "young". This literally smells edible, like marshmellows in a bonfire. Ughh I'm in love. As for the Eilish comparisons... I hated Eilish and I loved this so.. Idk, Eilish smelled like a really weird metallic vanilla to me. This is way better.

I’m not sure how people say this doesn’t last—on me, it lasts a long time, and I get so many compliments! I wouldn’t call this a perfect dupe for Eilish, but it’s about 80% similar. Eilish has a richer, deeper scent, while this one lacks some of that depth. However, I wouldn’t choose one over the other—they’re both great in their own way. If you love sweet scents, I’d definitely recommend this. As for the smokiness, I barely notice it—maybe just a hint, but it stays in the background.

Absolutely love this one. It's like Eilish no.1 but less powdery and seems more like vanilla extract rather than sugary confections. It seems deeper and more mature. My friend bought this right after I did since she loved it so much. Also you can't beat the price. One of the few perfumes I never once regretted buying, and I regret every life choice I ever make. Even if it's a 75¢ cotton candy lollipop.

I was pleasantly surprised by this perfume. I was debating between this and pistachio please. This won me over. I love Gourmand scents. And this is perfect. It's warm and cozy and sweet. But the sweet isn't too heavy. It very very similar to Eilish but I think it's better. It's sweeter. Eilish is more amber maybe?

Love this brand(but specific scents), great price for the scent. I love this so much, when they came out with candles recently, I got this as a candle. It is sweet, slight vanilla, but very clean like soap to me. I love wearing it with the finer'y pistachio please.

I own Billie Eilish Eilish and Lattafa Nebras. The Fine’ry Sweet On The Outside has a VERY similar DNA but I honestly love it on me much more than the other two. It may be the least appealing bottle but the scent is superior, especially for the price.

I absolutely LOVE this. This is comfort in liquid form for me. It's so sweet but not cloying at all. It's cozy and delicious and def a dupe of Eilish (1). This is also quite strong and does last a long while. It's in my top 3 affordable fragrances!

Wow! For the price it has amazing longevity, siliage and smells expensive. Actually it smells a lot like Un Bois Vanille! Rich, dense and opaque gourmand vanilla with smoky and woody nuances. Not at all juvenile.

I have this in the body mist and love it!! It’s a yummy sweet dark vanilla with almost a powdery but sweet smoky scent. For a body mist this is pretty long lasting on me and wearable year round.

It’s sweeter than what I would normally wear but I really like it. Sillage is weak on me though.

I'm realizing lately that I'm not so much a gourmond girl as I am a *vanilla* girl, and so it shouldn't be any surprise that I really enjoy this. Sweet on the Outside is torched creme brulee by the fireplace, creamy vanilla bean and the first waft of fresh smoke. The opening is an inviting, lush vanilla with a little cream. As it dries down, it gets deeper and smokier, that woody vetiver peeking through. The other Fine'ry scents I tried (Midnight Cafe and I'm a Musk) had this odd almost sour quality as they dried, but I don't get any of that from Sweet on the Outside. Warm and cozy, this feels like it's begging to be worn over a thick wool sweater in the middle of autumn. I really enjoy curling up in bed with a good book at night while I'm wearing this. It's close to Eilish No. 1, but missing the chocolate-y depth and that red berry opening. Not a total dupe, but the inspiration is pretty hard to miss. The longevity is great on my skin, I get at least 5 hours of projection, and then another 2-3 as a skin scent. Worth picking up if you don't already have Eilish and you love a sweet, woody vanilla.

I'm surprised anyone considers this a winter perfume, or a dupe for eilish because this smells like sour gummy worms with a background of vanilla. I actually really like the sour candy smell and will happily wear it to amusement parks or lighthearted/fun events in the spring and summer. It's pretty juvenile if I'm totally honest, but that's not a deterrent for me. I bought this in advance for the warmer months, I guess we'll see if it changes after having some time to sit and mature. I did have that experience with the new rouge by the same brand, it smells nothing like it did at first. I'll update if that happens ☺️ Update: after some wear I've decided this perfume isn't my style and I'm going to gift it to my little sister. Recently I'm getting an obnoxious artificial strawberry note out of it. It's hard for me to stomach because as a child, I puked up strawberry flavored foods on two separate occasions.... Hopefully you have fonder associations with that smell 😭 Not a bad fragrance at all, but its for someone more lighthearted and wide eyed than me.

Fun and sweet, but not too sweet! Easy breezey. I love layering this fragrance with other perfumes to give them a little boost of sweet&smokey. I wouldn't say this is a "true" vanilla scent, but it definitely leans in the vanilla direction. I don't get a "candy" or "fruity" scent at all, and I was actually very surprised to see other reviews saying that. To my nose this is a very light vanilla with wisps of smoke, and a little spicy woodiness. It's so light it's almost a skin scent. This perfume doesn't project much or stand out on its own, but it blends beautifully with many other scents. It's easy to spray and move on without thinking about it. And for the price, I simply can't complain.

This one has me laughing. Here me out. When I first sprayed it on me, I could barely smell it. It's very soft and vanilla (im not much of a vanilla girl). However, my husband who does not like perfume and usually only compliments me when I wear essential oils, goes crazy over this one! Everytime I have worn it, he says "mmmm you smell so good". He has rarely ever complimented me when wearing a fragrance! I have the whole fine'ry collection and this one is my least favorite(though I do like it okay), and the only one he has complimented me on so far. I guess I'm going to keep her around for a long time and I will have to stock up on some bottles. Rate- 7.5/10 (because hubby loves it)

I'll admit that at first I didn't love the smoky smell, but it's definitely grown on me. it's become one of my favorite scents, and it layers so well. it's definitely more sweet than smoky -- my boss loved it, and asked what smelled like "delicious vanilla cupcakes." very much worth the $30, but it is similar to a lot of perfumes. if you already have eilish or another staple vanilla, it may not be anything groundbreaking for you. update: I've had this scent for maybe 5 months now and it gets so much richer and sweeter with time. now that it's matured I see a little bit of the chocolatey smell people are talking about 🖤

My go to daily body mist, a smaller size is very affordable and perfect for the broke college student lifestyle. This scent is not adventurous nor innovative in any way, despite it being a vanilla perfume I don't even pull vanilla in specific. It more so aerates a generic, nameless sweetness. However, it's a comforting and tasty smell, very good at what it does. There are numerous other scents that achieve the same smell, but I am certain this is the best for it's pricepoint. I pair it with the Old Spice Swagger deodorant, a heavy male wood scent that balances out the sweet, creating a lovely depth for everyday.

Not going to lie...I grew up in the Vanilla Fields era and had a serious disdain of heavy vanilla scents since the 90s. Yet all the discourse online regarding Eilish Box 1 had me curious...the TFs Vanilla Sex dropped and I rethought my position on vanilla. So I’ve never smelled Eilish, but after smelling this Fine’ry dupe I may have to buy one. This is a creamy smoky vanilla scent. For the price point I am surprised about the longevity I definitely get a good 4 hours. I like to layer it with more tobacco-y and oud scents for a little razzle dazzle...but overall this is a good scent and a good buy.

I got the body mist version yesterday, and it's underwhelming to say the least. When I spray it there's a pleasant cocoa, vanilla, smokey...vinegar? It's very odd. When the alcohol evaporates, you're left with a coffee like scent with a hint of chocolate. It does not last half an hour, and it has no silage. It wouldn't be a fantastic fragrance if it was stronger, and if it would last longer. The pickle/vinegar note in the beginning eventually goes away so that part isn't so bad. I think the worst part is paying $15.00 for something that doesn't last :/ maybe it's better in the perfume version.

I saw these at target and noticed they have a discovery set. Discovery sets are a favorite way to try different perfume without committing to a full bottle. I was tempted to buy the entire collection but I also don’t want perfume laying around that I will never use. The discovery set only contains 5 of the scents and I will for sure go back and buy a full bottle of this. This fragrance is so pleasing and smells similar to something else but I can’t yet put my finger on it. I has vanilla in it and I’m not particularly fond of vanilla heavy scents but this is an appropriate amount for me.

I bought the body mist back in the summer. The mist is closer to Eilish than the perfume. It has been sitting for months and let me say, this get sweeter and chocolatey...which is crazy considering its only a mist. I do agree with others that say the dry down is more earthy than Eilish but now its remains a bit sweeter and smoother. I dont know how much the mist is nowadays but i say try that before you get the bottle and let it macerate for a bit. As much as I adore Eilish, this is a little more projecting, even though its a little on the spicier, earthier side.

Bought it as a dupe of Eilish. Since I own both, I can tell the differences more easily. It definitely has the same main vanilla body as Eilish, but it's spicier and a little bit muskier, making it a little more androgynous but still feminine leaning. The vetiver makes it earthier a touch less gourmand to me, especially on the dry-down (which is far less dessert-like than Eilish), but it's still a very nice, sweet scent for cooler months. Wouldn't call it a dupe for Eilish by any means, but its similar in essence if you need a budget-friendly alternative.

A sweet, smoky Vanilla, with chocolate. Smells incredible, and projection on this is good for just the body mist. This absolutely clings to clothing and stays for awhile, definitely a compliment getter, went to work with this for the first time, and was complimented everytime customer came up to me. So that automatically turns this into a love without a doubt. Definitely purchasing the perfume one of these days, one of best Vanilla/Gourmand fragrances out there that I have tried and actually thought about keeping in my collection. Just perfect.

I am incredibly picky with my vanilla's - i've seen a few people say this is a cold vanilla, perhaps that's why I enjoy it (not a fan of warm vanilla's). to me, this is what i imagined "sticky dates" from lush was going to smell like (but if you've smelled sticky dates, they aren't similar) - this has a date-like scent to me. a very grounded vanilla. it's sweet but not frosting or cake sweet, i suppose that's where the smoky comes in. but i enjoy this, wish it wore longer! projection isn't great either so i usually wear it to the office.

I do not have the OG Eilish perfume, but have smelled it and tried it and it's just too "something" for me. It's heavy, in a not good way. This however, is what I was hoping Eilish would be. I think those that enjoy Eillish will also like this, maybe even more as I do. I don't know that I get that smokey note per se, but it's a deep vanilla with herbal notes. Vetiver has ruined many a perfume for me, but it's nice in this. The was my first Finery perfume, now I want to try a couple more. Also, I'm reviewing the edp, not the mist.

immediately upon spraying it has a syrupy, almost fruity vanilla scent, i can definitely see where the people that mention cherry amaretto are coming from. on my skin, though, it quickly dries down into a warm, smoky, sweet and woody scent. lasts a decent amount of time - much longer on clothes than on skin where i feel it disappears too soon - but the sillage on me is very intimate and i barely smell it unless i closely sniff my skin. the way it smells on me, i'd wear it when i want to look mysterious and moody at a fancy event.

This is a sweet vanilla fragrance with a little bit of warmth. I was expecting it to be quite smoky, which I wouldn’t complain, I love smoky fragrances. I was surprised by how sweet it was. The opening and initial spray put me off at first, I thought it was too sweet. As it developed, it became this warm vanilla. I’m not sure if I’d reach for this again, due to my own personal preferences. Even then, preferences aside, this is a solid fragrance that sweet vanilla lovers would adore, and for a good price too.

This smells like vanilla and sugar and nothing else. I guess it’s similar to Eilish if you take away the charming sugared red berries in the opening that I liked. It reminds me more of a cheaper version of Escapade Gourmande that doesn’t last as long and has less depth than it reminds me of Eilish itself. For just a little more money you can just get Eilish, or Nebras Pride by Lattafa which I hear is like a stronger and longer lasting version of Eilish. I’ll pass.

This is my current go to vanilla scent. Sweet on the outside is simultaneously sweet and a bit of smokiness. I personally don't see this as a dupe for Eilish, I think Eilish is darker and woodsier while Sweet on the outside's Tonka bean note plays a different role than it does in Eilish. Personally don't buy this as a dupe but buy it for itself I love this scent I think it stands out in my vanilla collection. I adore it and I'm almost out!

I really liked this before I got Ellish by BE. It's very similar but now that I hold them side by side I see the differences. This one is a little more powdery/sweet than Ellish. First time I wore this someone told me I smelled really sweet like cotton candy. I was kind of thrown off by that comment because there is no cotton candy note in this. I think it's the powder note. I layer with Ellish now. It's sweet and a little woody 6/10

I think this is a nice scent. It’s the only one of the sample kit I bought that i actually ended up wearing. It’s sweet without being headache-inducing and slightly smoky. Unfortunately, one of the notes really rubs me the wrong way; pretty sure it’s the vetiver. It just smells “off.” I do think the sweetness needed something fresher to balance it off, but in my opinion, vetiver was not the right choice.

This fragrance seems to be a base perfume scent-wise, feeling fit for mature looks. By itself, it smells of a 'merry' vanilla high note, with a wooden low. On the skin, it takes to a scent of brown sugar, blending into the clothing, creating an aura of 'sweet' cotton. It lasts for around a moderate six hours, and has more of a moderate range. I take this to be my gateway perfume, and signature scent.

this is a warm, comforting vanilla that is edible but grounded. i appreciate the subtlety of the smoke and vetiver; it's just enough to keep it from smelling juvenile. the drydown is soft, powdery, and close to the skin. i think if you like sweeter fragrances, this is a very nice budget option. sweet on the outside in a few words: rich, welcoming, intimate

This smells like hugging a sexy woman in like the best way possible omg 🧸 much more mature vanilla so don’t go into this expecting toasted marshmallow and what not bc of the notes bc this def doesn’t give that vibe on initial spray. Does settle closer to the skin and smells a little sweeter once it dries down though

Smoky vanilla, not much else but there doesn’t need to be. Very similar to Eilish 1. I really enjoy this as a before bed fragrance because it sadly doesn’t last long for me, but I enjoy it a lot while it is there. It’s calming and comforting even if it only get 3 hours out of it. For the price point I can’t be mad
