Blackart Rouge Intense

Beautiful bottle, very long lasting scent. Apparently a very good dupe of BR of maison Francis Kurkdjian (which I've never tried on my skin). It reminded me of the facility foyer at the University I've attended: a place where students of any nations where eating their packed warmed up food;a lot of smells there : smell of saffron, spices, fish, meat , teas, sweets, was mixing with the smell the fir wall coverings, which where already 40 years old, the smell of the velvet curtains, the smell of the carpeted floor - which the cleaner was continuously, desperately cleaning with a sweet smell ammonia like detergent. Basically I feel saffron, jasmine, jelly beans/vanilla smell, a very persistant seasoned fir and cedar wood and an Amber, which is in between the metallic (zinc) and the oyster shell smell (with something close to the salty /sea smell - therefore I think it's the Amber. For me it smells like an elegant old lady in fur. My skin has already a very neutral smell and this scent covers it so much... I'm not going to use it often and because of it's incredible durability this bottle will last ages. As for baccarat rouge, I've been explained there's a note just some people can perceive and it makes it smell beautiful to them. I'm probably in the other "half": for me it smells warm, sweet, woody, animalic and neutral - nothing to lose my mind for but with a good dignity.
