Vanilla & Tobacco

I love it when a dupe turns out BETTER!! there’s soooo many Arabic brands out there and most have been ehh buys for me, but the two I bought from his “house” have been THE best and most well made! No waiting for them to macerate, none of the usual let down I’ve been feeling from my other Arabic blind buys! It’s just nice. Very very affordable. I’ve noticed a lot of changes and their bottles when I looked them up or other brands with similar bottles. It’s very confusing. I’m sure Flavia is under some other brand just like lattafa has other brands. It’s super confusing? BUT... FLAVIA has literally been my favorite Arabic brand.!! So about this one in particular, I’m not really a tobacco girl, but I am a spice girl!! this and cherry last are my favorite. I could bathe them in the winter.! The only time Ford sent that I am in love with still would be Soleil Blanc ( and I have been pissed off for four years since Arabic perfumes became a thing that that was the one Tom Ford that they did NOT DUPE!?? make it make sense!?!! I go on and on about how much that upset me!?? I never understood how they could dupe all the other Tom Ford, but not the Soleil Blanc!!??7 As sorry as tobacco though I don’t have a lot of experience with tobacco, I wish it was just a tiny bit softer because tobacco depending on which tobacco you get can be quite strong, and it can also be kind of moist and sweet, and I kind of wished the tobacco did that a moist sweet kind of vibe the tobacco here is a bit more robust.? if that makes sense but I can’t complain!! for $20?? and all the spices are there it lasted a long time it protects I get compliments. I really can’t complain!! But like I said, I’m starting to notice these original bottles I can’t find anymore and I’m really worried they’re not being made 😬 if you love this, you’ll love the cherry last as well! They may smell so good layered! Cherry last also smells so good layered with all of my perfumes. Literally, I top off my alien fusion with it, I layer it with Ebony wood, and layer or anything woody anything spicy it kind of tone it down and add a little bit of sweetness perfection

Amazing clone/dupe of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. FL will be Flavia and TF is the Tom Ford for the sake of this review. I have a decant of TF and the bottle of FL. Another note is my FL came already fully macerated, it was manufactured in 2024 which I am sure helped the performance. They both immediately have the same vibe to them. You cannot pick apart the notes FL, mostly in my thoughts due to it being lower quality oils. Before the dry down (which is one hourish) TF is much lighter and less spice heavy. FL has much more spice. They both have the same sillage. I couldn't tell a difference between them. FL on the dry down stays spicier and a tad bit darker but the same vibe as TF. You can tell more of the vanilla on TF mostly because it is lighter. The longevity stayed longer on FL on my skin. I got just at 7 hours of the Flavia. My skin does like to wash away frags a lot quicker then what I consider normal. Overall I actually enjoy Flavia better due to the spice being more prominent. Quality wise I do like Tom Ford better just because I like being able to pick out between the notes, but that's expected with a difference of $200+ between them. Pick up Flavia if you even enjoy spicy vanillas, it is an amazing fragrance just on it's own.

I've never tried the TF tobacco vanille but I tried this one and I'm very happy with it. Nice fulfilling bottle and it last 4/6 hours. One of my colleagues loves it so much - she says it fills the office without being invadent. It has a nice vanilla opening, followed by tobacco and an aromatic spicy aura. I believe on me the tree main perceivable notes are vanilla, tobacco (a nice aromatic sweet tobacco - not dry) and the tonka bean/coumarin. My husband thinks, at the opening, it's smells like ice cream (my skin tends to exalt vanilla). I find it quite natural - despite the price is a guarantee something chemical has been used ( as in many scents - whatever brands - nevermid the price). It doesn't change too much on my skin - I mean it develops the various notes but it remains nice and interesting. It doesn't get bad variations due to the "chemical" ( as I often experience with aldeides or super chemical sandal which becomes sour on my skin ). I'd buy it again.

I was contemplating between this fragrance and Amber Oud Tobacco Edition Al Haramain as a dupe for Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, and ended up purchasing this because 1. it's cheaper and 2. I prefer this bottle. In terms of similarly to TV, I would say this is almost identical, practically indiscernible unless you had them side by side. The tonka, vanilla, tobacco and spice blend all mesh together to become this delicious sticky date (the fruit) dessert to my nose - sweet, warm, and inviting. Lasts forever. Perfectly unisex. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a TV dupe, or even if you just don't want to dish out the couple hundo doll hairs for the same scent in a similar enough bottle.

They tried to make a rip-off of TF perfume but they literally made it even better. When I first smelled it in the store, I was shocked at first because of the strength of the spices and tobacco in the opening, but over time, as I smelled it, it got better and better, I sprayed a little on my hand and it lasted for DAYS, such a beautiful scent of gingerbread and spices.I don't think it's for everyone, but anyone who likes spices, tobacco, vanilla, deep and strong scents, this perfume is definitely for them. I wouldn't say it's for a blind buy, but honestly I don't have a single bad word to say about this perfume. It's literally perfect for winter and cold weather

Smells like a slightly more green version of a clove cigarette. And I love it! Was looking for a dupe of the discontinued Velvet Teddy by Mac and its similar enough. Smells more like the tree than the sap though if your comparing the two. I wouldn't call this a green fragrance though not by a long shot. There's just that little Christmas tree type note in there. I would say if you like the smell of a good milky spicy Chai latte and are also a fan of incense and/or woody scents then I think this could be a good blind buy! So good for fall and winter! Too heavy for summer but i do feel like a bit of a baddie if I wear this out at night on the middle of August lol

This is so perfect for winter and cold weather. I'm addicted to this perfume. It's so warm and cosy. I love the spiced vanilla blanket of perfume that it forms around me and it lasts all day. I wore it today at work and when my students entered the classroom I've heard so many of them commenting "mmmmm, it smells so beautifully here", "what is this smelling so nicely ?".... There was a ton of great comments from them and it made me so happy that they loved it. 2 sprays are just enough because this can turn into a beast if you overspray. Definitely one of my favourite perfumes.

Would say it's more sweet than the original, the clove note is definitely a lot more prominent here in the opening and it took a while for my nose to adjust to it. DO NOT overspray. On me this lasts the entire and can easily get overwhelming and suffocating if i spray too much on the front of my body. TL;DR: sweet and somewhat classy tobacco with sweet spicy gourmand vanilla and dried fruits, a lot of clove in the opening

First encounter..sweet strong vanilla with light leather,plum and light tobacco After sometime..it comes with more woody and same vanilla biscuit type... I sprayed in a corner of big living room...and was able to smell in another room also. Totally a winter perfume..i think it will perform best between 8°c to 20°c Overall a nice scent Price is very low acc to fragrance

Rating: 😳😊 Do I like it: Yeah Who it is: A bubbly college sociology student roaming a second-hand book store Smells I get: tonka, vanilla, tobacco, honey Meyer's Briggs type: ENFJ, ENFP Honestly, this is surprisingly good. I tried it in the store a while ago and recently went back to try it again. I expected a plastick-y drydown or a waft of synthetic nausea, and yet I find myself pleasantly surprised. I get tonka, vanilla, tobacco, spice, honey, powder, in that order. ☕ Reasonably well blended, and pretty strong. Two sprays are all you need, and it projects quite well at about an arms length. Lasts most, if not the entire day on my dry skin. You can tell that the vanilla isn't complex or super high quality - but who bloody f*cking cares. It's better made than most designer stuff. It's better balanced than a lot of higher end stuff. The opening, heart and drydown are all pleasant. Give it a whiff. 🙃 In terms of similar stuff: • TF tobacco vanille - didn't smell it • Al Haramain amber oud tobacco - i like it better, but it's more honeyed tea like • Lush turmeric latte - too sour on me

Obviously they wanted to make a dupe of tobacco vanille, they just made it better? The original is too strong for me, i would take this over the original anytime, it has more sweetness and is not as harsh as TF i dont think you can offend anyone with it. Sillage 6.5/10 Longevity 8.2/10

Can definitely smell the vanilla, tobacco and cacao in there, but definitely no warm spicy note which i love on sweet fragrances. Sucks that it had to be like that.

Smells exactly like a plum compote to me, all i get are spices (mostly cinnamon and nutmeg) with a fruity twist in a nauseating way. Zero vanilla and zero tobacco unfortunately. To me it's much more feminine than masculine. Silliage and longetivity are great for the price tho.

This is very clove-heavy yikes. The clove remains throughout quite strong it dominates the scent but the tobacco's herbal balsamic whiskey-like aroma softens the intense sweet-spicy clove smell which is very christmasy to me. We use cloves in baklava in Greece and during Christmas and clove is a hit or miss for me. Here it's a lot, but the tonka balances it out too later on even though the clove remains in the drydown. I bought it because I love Tonka Reminiscence but Tonka Rem is lighter aromatic with the jasmine bergamot, anise and honey so it also leans more feminine than this one. Tonka Rem has the amber-y leathery labdanum reinforcing the churchy scent from the honey-clove and it lacks the tobacco note so no herbal whiskey-like balsamic element there, just the tonka's subtle tobacco-like quality and the amber-y balsamic labdanum-honey effect. The clove in Tonka Rem has too much warm thick spice, like this one at first, but more syrupy from the honey too and with a floral touch; it becomes softer when the other notes, almond jasmine anise bergamot etc balance it out. Vanilla Tobacco has a subtle churchy undertone in the mid phase from the clove, the warm spices as they blend with the balsamic tobacco-tonka pairing. In this perfume the clove opening has a herbal hay-like tobacco undertone and a balsamic whiskey-like effect right away - similar to the whiskey note in bbw coffee and whiskey - and we don't have that effect in Tonka Reminiscence, the herbal nor the balsamic whiskey-like, just the aromatic anise-bergamot and the honey-labdanum, a lighter balsamic effect. Vanilla Tobacco lacks floral notes, as it lacks the sweet solar honey, the fresh bergamot and the almond so all the airy feminine or fresh notes. The cacao adds a thick deep sweetness here, but at the drydown the tonka intensifies giving a smoother feel to the whole scent amplifying the tobacco smell since tonka mimics tobacco a bit and it also provides an almond-like sweetness. The coumarin has a hay-like sweet profile and warm like candied almonds and I do get a sweeter almondy element in the drydown, so along with the vanilla this dark perfume becomes quite feminine on me while it stays dark. Tonka Rem smells more dimensional and stays brighter from the jasmine-honey and more balsamic and churchy from the labdanum too, while Vanilla Tobacco is more tobacco-cacao-clove thick and serious-dark. They both have a sweet vanilla base but Tonka Rem is sweeter due to the honey vanilla blend. This is more austere unisex from the cacao-tobacco while in Tonka Rem the only masculine-leaning element is the amber-y leathery labdanum effect later at the drydown but it's subtle. Tonka Rem stays aromatic solar from the anise-honey and has a strong feminine jasmine. I like both but this is more of a thick deep scent and a weirdo for me, more winter-appropriate but equally comforting. No amber feel here aside from the balsamic whiskey-like nature of the tobacco, quite unisex but smells pretty feminine on me from the cacao-vanilla-tonka-coumarin. The later drydown is similar to Tonka Rem but this doesn't last as long and it retains its thick cacao sweetness as opposed to the Tonka Rem's floral honey sweetness.

To me there’s a better light tobacco note in Flavias cherry lust? I do like this, but something menthol in it? But maybe this one needs to macerate ? Wonder if anyone else got that? My experience with tobacco has always been a good one! Usually deep wet sexy...I’m not getting that yet? Ha but it’s ok for the price

@AK2 Only thing can sue them for is bottle design,name is generic for plants TF does not own copy rights for vanille and tobacco....and for scents can be applyed if all notes where identical

Solid TF clone, bit lighter but lasts what seems like forever.
