Sweet Almond Blossom

This is an almost lovely fruity floral feminine fragrance. On my skin the passionfruit is the most dominant note with vanilla and floral notes playing in the background. The problem I have with is fragrance is the matcha note. It lingers around the three main notes creating an almost cigarette smoke scent covered with floral perfume Which is thre reason I would not buy a full size bottle. Otherwise, it is a very long lasting fragrance on skin. I wore it on a 12 hour shift and could still smell it at the end of my shift. Projection is within arms length. I most say I didn't immediately smell Viva La juicy but now that the other comments pointed it out, I can actually smell a little VLJ notes but like I said the passionfruit is very dominant on my skin whereas VLJ is more berries, caramel and vanilla on my skin.

Several Floral Street perfumes have "symbolic" names and seem to aim at invoking a particular impression rather than featuring the literal notes mentioned in the fragrance name. Sunflower Pop doesn't have sunflower; London Poppy, which in turn lacks poppy, does. Black Lotus contains no lotus. But only Sweet Almond Blossom's name seems to confuse people. I think the idea is that the notes together are meant to invoke the impression of a blossoming almond tree scent. Anyway, I don't mind. I love this fragrance. I think it's the most successful citrus vanilla combo of all that I ever tried. It is a beautiful, ethereal but warm floral fragrance. I can't stop sniffing my wrist wearing a sample, while I'm awaiting the arrival of a larger bottle.

I have struggled finding a scent as great as Halle Berry Orchid since it's been discontinued years ago. Since then, I have worn random perfumes but upon smelling this one, I knew I had finally found my match! Sweet almond blossom is similar to Beautiful Day with those juicy, strong fruity notes which blends in well with the floral notes (don't really get much floral in sweet almond blossom) and I am normally a person that is not a fan of citrus scents but it blends fairly well in this perfume. However, I do want to note that this is does not have that fresh delivery that you would find in Beautiful Day by BBW or Aqua Kiss from Victoria Secret. It drys down to more warmer scents that come from the tonka bean, vanilla, and sandalwood.

This fragrance is a great spring/summer choice. The apple blossom is the star of this show, with the pomelo complimenting it. With the juice being great, there is a major disconnect here between the name and the juice. A scent named Sweet Almond Blossom, it makes me think warm, cozy and almond-y. That is not what you get here. Nonetheless the scent is good, light, perfect for spring/summer, and the bottle is stunning. Floral Street is one of my favorite perfume brands and they rarely disappoint.

If you like Pina Coladas... Not going to lie - like with most Floral Street perfumes - this does not smell like I expected it to! It's very reminscent of Jelly Belly Pina Colada beans - I guess the Tonka is giving coconut in the base, whilst the fruits are combining into a pineapple-ish fresh fruity wash over the top. It doesn't carry as much as some other Floral Street scents, but a really lovely summery scent nonetheless

I’m so sorry other folks haven’t had the best experience on this one. I’ve had the opposite - wish I could spread the joy! The apple blossom is most prominent initially but on my skin in swiftly dries down into the nutty vaniallary almondy-tonka warmth with just a hint of the fruit to keep it from being sickly. It’s November and so the weather in the U.K. is around 10 degrees C most days but the sillage seems strong!

I have been waiting for this release since purchasing the room spray and candles, and am very happy with it. It opens with an intense smell of passion fruit and apple combination which is fresh/sweet without being sickly. I find it does tend to dry down and warm up to the tonka bean and vanilla notes with the fruit only just lingering there.

This is delicious. Passionfruit, citrus, bit of vanilla. It’s fresh and fruity without smelling juvenile - perfect for hot weather or offices. It doesn’t last particularly long but it’s safe for overspraying with abandon. I’ve got a 10ml bottle and probably won’t rebuy but it’s been a lovely, if brief, journey together.

Amazing scent for the summer. First sweet smelling fragrance I actually fell in love with. The formulation is so sophisticated - throughout the wear, it doesn't feel artificial or incohesive. This was the first fragrance by Floral Street I actually tried and now have ordered the whole discovery set to try them all out.

This is such a beautiful citrusy vanilla. It is a bit powdery, but there is no actual almond note in this. Lasts for about 2 -3 hours on my skin. I really like it, but my partner thinks it’s too strong, so I can’t wear it around him, sadly.

I don't know why anyone would expect this to smell like almonds, it's almond blossoms. Just as apple blossoms don't smell like apples, almond blossoms don't smell like almonds. Any Indian or other person who grows in areas where almond blossoms are pinkly abundant in the spring will tell you that. Orange blossoms don't smell like oranges, either. That being said, there is too much sweet and not enough blossom in this for my taste, so that I can't love it. I do, however, like it, and am happy to wear the decant I have this spring. I'm wearing it today because it's unusually warm for winter and I wanted something springy to wear while running errands. I am wearing sandalwood and vanilla lotion and sandalwood powder under it to deepen the scent and make it last a little longer, and it's very nice. If you want an office perfume for spring and summer that shouldn't bother anybody, this might be a good pick. I would it were a little more green and flowery, but that's fragrance these days, especially for U.S. Americans. They don't seem to want anything that isn't loaded with sweet, even savory food sauces. Ugh. As a dark chocolate, black coffee, black licorice, lemony lemonade person, this makes me sad. But there you go.

I was really excited to buy this fragrance because of the collab with the van Gogh Museum, but I was a little let down. Not that this wasn't a beautiful fragrance though, because it totally is. I mostly picked up on the apple blossom, and I think it would make a great reliable freshie for anyone. My only problem with it is that after it dried down, I got a sour/bitter note that I think could be the matcha note. Also, this is the only perfume in my collection that someone else has told me smells like what they think a generic perfume would smell like. I personally disagree, but yk. I think the bottle is so beautiful though, so I am contemplating keeping/returning. A good alternative for this is Clean Reserve Apple Blossom. They are almost the same, but Clean's doesn't dry down bitter and is sweeter+brighter.

Sweet Almond Blossom opens with a slightly powdery almond and tonka combination mixed with some florals. It's not heavy or overly powdery, actually it smells quite light and airy. The middle notes are very fruity, like a shampoo or conditioner, it makes me think of those Herbal Essences products I used when I was younger. It dries down to a generic sweet vanilla with some fruity nuances. Very easy to wear, but not really unique. It's also a pretty affordable fragrance compared to niche and most designer so it's a good alternative if you're on a budget and are looking for a sweet, fruity-floral everyday scent. The longevity is not the best but also not the worst, I get 5-6 hours with moderate projection. 7/10.

7/10. - The fruit and the nutty creaminess kind of clash, it's like they are fighting for olfactory attention upon first whiff. - But give it 15-20 minutes or so for the fruitiness to dissipate, or "melt", then you are left with the almond vanilla which now becomes dominant. - Bought it purely for the almond vanilla - I was going through a L'occitane Almond lotion phase! - bottom line - this is a comforting light gourmand, if you are anything like me and spent YEARS only being able to tolerate fresh scents, then this would be a great introduction to gourmand for you.

It smells nice to me, albeit a bit generic, though i don't think that's a bad thing. I am reminded of sweet pea. I don't really smell almond. I don't smell the soapy / shampoo type smell others have commented. This sits nicely on my skin. I wish the scent lasted longer. Initial spray is a nice sweet smell and then it evolves into more vanilla. Not much silage or longevity, I can't smell it on me after a couple hours. Bottle is beautiful. The House does a nice job with their discovery set where you can try every single scent.

This is a nice but generic perfume. The only one I've tried from this house, so far. Not too impressed. It only caught my eye because of the Vincent Van Gogh design, but I am so glad I tried it out. The only thing I am confused about is that to me, it doesn't really smell like almond blossom. I also do not see it in the notes section. Why? It is in the name, it should be there. Upsetting. It would have been better with almond blossom, as it would have been sweeter and less generic.

This one is interesting. It smells very fresh and a bit gourmet. Instead of Almond, I get Vanilla which is pretty fresh. It’s not too gourmet to the point where it reminds of an edible desert. When you add citrus notes, it’s even more fresh and spring-y. The interesting factor in here is the hint of Matcha that you get eventually. When it’s mixed in with the other notes, it makes me think of paint which is well-suited for the Van Gough theme of this scent.

Honestly this fragrance is very decent for what it is- a summer fruity vanilla floral akin to viva la juicy as many have mentioned. It does have a sort of apple/pear blossom sweetness that when combined with the creamy vanilla makes for a slightly dewy yet almost aquatic shampoo type scent. Very pretty, but not what I typically gravitate towards. Leaves you with a squeaky clean very feminine just-out-of-the-shower feeling.

It brought back memories of a children’s perfume, discontinued many years ago, from the Água de Cheiro brand. It was a green apple fragrance. Ever since then, I’ve been searching—without much success—for something that could evoke that childhood memory, and this one brought a little of it back. I’m very happy with this find!

I was really bracing myself for a citrus overload based on the notes but was pleasantly suprised by the lightness. Its refreshing a burst of sweet apple and pomelo sweet warmth brought in by the vanilla and tonka bean. Reminiscent of shampoo yes but I kinda like it.

Opening is like Viva La Juicy for me, a fruity vibe. Then the middle smells like a very sweet floral, kinda like shampoo in a good way. The almond scent also comes in at the same time. On my skin, it drys down to a honey scent with a slight hint of vanilla.

This is a nice perfume, but it should have been called "Juicy Apple" or "Apple Blossom", as this smells quite fruity, it reminds me of a slice of fresh, green apple. In my opinion this doesn't smell of almonds at all.

Zero almond - confusing really. Apple, passion fruit, more apple? Sweet, fruity apple scent. Sigh...

Really like this but wish it lasted longer

Hot tip: on extra extra sale at TJMaxx/Marshall’s right now in a 1.7 fl oz ;-) I sprayed my little 2 ml Nordstrom decant in preparation to create my Pinterest mood board featuring this bold and beautiful fragrance! I said it in my last review, and it remains true: Epinette knows how to brew up something unexpected. I did not have the notes in front of me when I was smelling it. There’s a shea butter lotion quality that keeps it really clean-smelling, and that’s what I picked up on first. Then I sprayed it on a q-tip and put it right to my nose: bitter citrus. Didn’t seem like orange. Too sharp for lemon. Lightbulb moment: GRAPEFRUIT! Then, a few moments later, the bouquet emerges: clean, elegant, subtle florals galore, but too abstract to name! Then a pesky unidentifiable green note. This is what persists amidst the symphony of sweet that sets it apart from other gourmands, much like the Cassis in Floral Street’s uncharacteristic gourmand “Wild Vanilla Orchid” (which is basically just the Fall/Winter version of this). I took to this page looking for an answer... MATCHA, of course!!! This, in combination with the Tonka and Vanilla, is what turns a lotion/shampoo smell into more of a creamy tea smell, amplifying the sweet and lactonic quality of a non-lactonic fragrance, again, much like Wild Vanilla Orchid. He just gets it. I don’t know how! Who knew that one little note thrown in could alter the entire experience of even the most basic of perfumes! It’s so important to note that I believe part of my adoration for this fragrance is its sneak-attack nostalgic quality. Close your eyes. Open a bag of Jordan Almonds. And SNIFF. Pastel Candied Almond Paradise! A soapy, saccharine, springy smile in a bottle!

“enchanting”, “ethereal”, “sensuous”, “hypnotic” and totally synthetic. Scored a sample of this from Mecca, from my understanding it’s a collaboration with the Van Gogh museum in amsterdam which is what initially intrigued me, but I’ll be honest i was pretty disappointed when I first sprayed it. I wish it was a bit more earthy and floral (I’m saying this as someone with a general prejudice for florals). It’s composition kind of reminds me of Elizabeth Arden’s Sunflower- not in the specific notations but because it has these beautiful floral and fruity notes that ideally work together to create something gorgeous but instead comes off extremely unbalanced and artificial. Instead what you’re getting with this is an immature scent, it reminds me of the kind you’d give to a little girl or in a disney body spray or something. Perhaps it’s the fruity notes that does this a disservice. The aesthetics of the packaging and the bottle are nice but it’s a bit of a let down. If you’re paying $155 (AU) for a full bottle of what’s marketed as a fragrance on the higher end you’re doing yourself a disservice because what you’ll get is a mass-appealing, shampoo-like fragrance. Not the most offensive fragrance out there but it’s certainly not one I’ll buy the full bottle of.

I really thought I would love this but I really don’t and it’s a shame a lot of the notes in the fragrance I actually like but it just doesn’t work for me. The first 10-20 minutes I really liked it. it’s fresh with some sweetness ,then once it dries down something in the fragrance just turns sour and very synthetic on me which I don’t like at all it could be the sandalwood and matcha I wore it to work to try test it out and I couldn’t wait to get home and shower it off it just didn’t work for me unfortunately. i feel personally this fragrances isn’t well blended if it stayed how it does for the first 10-20 mins on my skin I would absolutely love it. Lasts probably 4-5hrs then settles down to a skin scent. I have a 50ml bottle I’m definitely going to have to sell it as it just won’t get used.

Wow, what a total let down. Sunflower Pop was a smash hit and I'm actually a big fan of this perfumer but this is so painfully underwhelming... it's not bad by any means, pleasant enough, but it's incredibly generic, unremarkable, totally forgettable. Opens with citrus and a faint whiff of florals, in the dry down you get a bit of the almond but it's subtle, so I understand why other reviewers are disappointed or feel misled by the name. Both longevity and silage is poor, which only adds insult to injury. Sample it by all means if you're curious, but I imagine this isn't going to sell nowhere near as well as Sunflower Pop did!

A bit let down with this fragrance. It’s a lightly sweet fruity, with just a bit of nuttiness. The initial spray is all right, but as it starts to dry down it turns into a very soapy, shampoo like of a mess. It feels sinthethic, and honestly it becomes almost nauseating not long after. The only pro is that it has the effect of a clean fragrance. You feel fresh the way you would if you sprayed a cheap shampoo. It’s not particularly expensive at 130aud, but it feels so cheap to me that even at this price point it’s absolutely not worth it.

i was looking forward to this as i liked the room spray but for some reason this feels oddly soapy and sour in a bad way as time goes by :( reminds me of strongly scented handwash that lingers on your hands more than anything. had a lot of potential and i was hoping to like it as initially it was quite fresh and passionfruity but it quickly turns into the whiff you get walking past the soap and shampoo isle at a supermarket//or the cleaning isle, i dont know - not exactly fresh, a little musty and a confusing mix of scents.

Man, I love this perfumer. He’s concocted major hits in my book, such as this lovely number, Arizona Bloom from the same house, Floating Forest from Future Society, and Poets of Berlin. I don’t even like gourmands. Like, genuinely — not for me. I like woody and herbal scents with a hint of floral. But this perfume? It’s undeniably gorgeous. Sweet, but not cloying, floral in the gentlest sense: Anne Hathaway’s Cottage vibes. Might have to get a full size.... Teehee!

A fresh, zesty fragrance. Passionfruit, citrus and vanilla come through. Not a trace of almond. Personally I think Van Gogh's beautiful painting "Almond Blossom" deserves a much better accompanying fragrance, one that's more complex and enchanting and less synthetic and shampooey. But this could be popular with teens who are just starting to enjoy perfume, or people who like strong but simple generic spring scents.

I think this fragrance smells pleasant and floral like very pretty Herbal Essences shampoo. I get the pomello and the apple blossom as the more prominent notes lt's very soft and if your stuck for a scent you will probably enjoy this one. It is however quite generic to my nose and not temting me enough to purchase given I am not a perfume collector nor am I in love with the house.

i was disappointed. it's not bad, but there's no almond scent. it does smell very similar to viva la juicy, so much so there's no point in buying one if you already have the other. the opening is good and fresh, but the dry down gets rid of any uniqueness i liked. definitely good, but i was hoping for something more.

Got a free sample of this and finally trying it. It's ok. Not a love. I'll finish the sample, but won't purchase a bigger size. This is a pretty basic floral to my nose. My partner likes it, but isn't in love with it. Definitely other florals in my collection that I enjoy more, and that last longer.

Smells great, but it is weirdly sticky? It's the only perfume I have ever worn that leaves a film on my skin. Despite this, the scent lasts about 30 minutes-- less than a Bath and Body Works body spray for a mid-tier perfume. Not worth the $$. It smells heavily of apple blossom to me.

I agree with other reviewers that you'd think from the name that the scent would be more powdery and almond-y, but it isn't. It should be called APPLE blossom. It smells like a department store body splash. Crowd-pleasing and inoffensive, but not particularly interesting.

Sweet. A little floral. There is nothing almond about this, so don't let that lead you astray. Inoffensive and probably fine as an everyday scent for someone else. Overall, just unremarkable. I would not reach for this over other scents in my collection.

Someone ground up fruits and put them in a drug store shower gel. I wouldn’t say it’s nutty but the powderiness can read as a little nutty. The top notes are citrusy, and the rest is just sweet fruity notes. I’m getting something like guava in there. The apple is more of an apple flavouring than actual apple or apple blossom. It’s a very fruity sweetness, not candy like, but still surprisingly sweet. This is a bit of a mess in my opinion, but it's pretty inoffensive and fresh. As with all floral street fragrances, a little synthetic smelling. This one is also very weak in projection, you need a good few sprays to get much out of it. Edit: inhaling it for a long time gave me a soapy taste in my mouth, I have to change the rating from "ok" to "dislike" because wtf is that

Hmmmm. For some reason, my skin pulls straight, bitter tonka. I get a little almond blossom and floral nuance in the opening, but after that, it’s linear woody tonka. Very strong, very perfume-y. With nothing to balance it, it’s quite overpowering and honestly cloying. I had much higher hopes for this — i love the bottle and was considering blind buying when it came out, now I’m really glad I didn’t. It’s not so horrific that I hate it... but I would definitely never wear it. I’m perplexed because everyone is saying it smells fruity, and shampoo-ey, or sweet.. I get absolutely none of that. Ain’t body chemistry a b!tch. Smh.

I enjoy the way this starts off. I can understand the comparison to Viva La Juicy, at least in the early stages- it starts as a gourmand floral that's fun and girly. As it dries down there is a sharp musk that emerges, which as other reviewers have mentioned is sour....and I get that, too. The sharp, sour musk ruins this for me. Starts out pleasant and takes a turn for the worst- it's a pass for me.

I was familiar with the notes before purchasing, so I expected a fruity shampoo-y fragrance. That’s mostly what this is, but the less intense tonka/almond/woody aspect of it really clashes with the fruity side in a way that’s really bothersome to me

I didn't like this one. It smells like a tropical citrus, mixed with a masculine shampoo, layered on top of vanilla. Sunflower Pop is better.

Just kinda sickeningly sweet vanilla floral, nothing special . Not for me.

(Basing off 1-2 sprays on my wrist) Initially all I smelt was soap. Just generic cheap soap. That started to make me feel kind of nauseous after a while. After about 2 hours of sitting on my skin I’m starting to pick up almond? something nutty, and a whisper of something sweet, but also the perfume is almost fully gone now, I’m only able to smell it if I press my nose right up to my wrist. I don’t really get any of the promised notes. Really disappointed, I was expecting to love this :C
