Jabal Shams

This is a high-class perfume, due to its presentation and its container. My choice was made based on two glances: its presentation like a work of art, with the colors that I really like, then the materials that make up the juice. I didn't want a sweet composition, in this one no vanilla, and this alliance between various peppers suits me very well. Just a hint of tonka and saffron for depth. The staying power is excellent and its diffusion is not invasive, which shows that although my preference is towards perfumes with strong characters, I also know how to appreciate a more discreet scent. It is portable in all seasons. However, not to the point of reapplying it several times during the day, which means that I am completely satisfied with the concept of this creator, and with his perfume. The olfactory art that makes us forget the invasive banality.

Very middle eastern leaning. Utterly masculine.

I feel as though this perfume is quite underrated. It is a masterfully blended pepper and oud fragrance. The oud is a little skanky in the first 5 minutes but after that it almost turns the exact opposite way and it becomes more fresh and peppery. This is quite a unique transformation and truly makes me like it even more. The pepper in this fragrance is very dominant but the cypress and the juniper notes make it so much smoother. You can also truly smell that musk from the base with just a hint of oud. It’s like a more fresher version of oud wood but with a weird opening whaha! On my skin this lasts quite well to with about 5 hours of great projection and after still lingering but in more of a skin scent kind of way.
