Sunshine

I blind-bought this at Ross for $13 for 1 oz. It's a great blind buy for anyone who likes citrus. The smell is like D&G Light Blue had a little baby. I say little because this isn't a heavy or sharp scent. It actually smells like a straight dupe of Moschino Funny. It has hints of floral notes to soften its edges. The name is appropriate; it is quite a sunny fragrance. It also lasted amazingly long for something so cheap and light! Although it became a skin scent after an hour, I could smell it for around 4 hours - about the same length of time that expensive designer fragrances last on me. Edited to add: this reminds me a lot of Light Blue Italian Zest on the initial spray. It's quite heavy on the lemon. It's bright, but doesn't have as deep of cedar notes as Light Blue. I'd still strongly recommend that anyone who loves Light Blue buy this if they see it at Ross or a similar store. It's a great substitute / dupe for $13.

Out of all of them, this is the one i love! Citrusy musk and a hint of apple and peony, i'm in love! For a scent sold only in walmart not bad at all drew barrymore. I definitely will be buying this perfume soon, possibly for christmas!

I love Drew so couldn't resist browsing the Flower perfumes and cosmetics whilst grocery shopping at Walmart last night. Decided on this one to layer with Light Blue when I wear it, since the scent fades quickly on me and this will help stretch it out. And I also smell cedar despite it not being listed.. how peculiar.. its almost like they low key made a complete copy haha. I got the body spray version of this and it's very light, and the scent is fleeting but for $7 it's a non issue. Especially considering it's a dead ringer dupe for LB which is much pricier in comparison. If you are a LB lover, give it a try. P.S. The hibiscus shade of blush in the Flower line is really nice.

I have been a light blue wearing lady for several years. All year round. I have been trying different scents, but I miss it. I happened in walmart of all places today and smelled 3 scents by -.I had no idea. But when I smelled this I purposely bought it because it is so much like light blue minus the price. I'll be curious if my husband and kids notice when they get home. They always smell me hahaha! !

I sampled this in the store today. Eh. I agree that it smells a heck of a lot like Light Blue. It's actually lasting a pretty long time, so if you like Light Blue, it's a worthy purchase. Personally, I'm glad I tried before I bought, as it's not terribly unique.

Starts out with a bright citrus, the citrus tones down a bit as it wears and I find it super similar to D&G's Light Blue. I love both. For me, Sunshine is easy to wear, not too complicated.

Pairs extremely well with Sparkling Garden from the Flower line. Reminds me of Light Blue. Nothing earth-shattering, but a nice summer scent.

I received this perfume a few years ago and just finished the bottle last night. I never could shake the image of what this perfume reminded me of. It reminds me of the yellow suckers I used to get at the bank when I was a kid. I'm guessing it's the yellow bottle more than anything because the perfume doesn't have a candy scent to it. I'm picking up citrus more than anything. It was a lovely smelling perfume. Thankfully there's a similar perfume out there for those that love this perfume. Light Blue does come pretty close to how this perfume smells. I think Sunshine smells a bit softer compared to the sharper scent of Light Blue. But it's as close as you're gonna get imo. I love how so many things with this perfume goes hand in hand with each other. There's so many perfumes out there where I think things just get slapped together whether it makes sense or not. This is a perfume where the name, bottle, scent and even the picture of Drew just blends together and it just fits. It's a lovely picture of Drew btw. She looks like such a bubbly and fun person to be around imo. But the product overall does reflect on a sunny day. I do have a problem with this line of perfume. I see where some of Britney Spears perfumes have been discontinued. Fair enough. Those that have been discontinued have been around for a good number of years. Maybe sales were flat for those that it just made sense to get rid of them. I do understand it from a business point of view. I don't really know that much about Flower's sales. I just wish somebody from the line would realize you're kinda making people turn away from the perfumes by how you discontinue the older stuff (that's not even that old) when something newer comes out. If something is still selling well, why are you discontinuing it? I'm gonna flat out and say I saw some of the Pretty Deadly line and I turned away from it after smelling it. I think I enjoyed the green bottle the best but I still ended up turning away from it because I didn't want to get into something that's gonna be discontinued in a year or two. I'm not sure if there's a disconnect or what. If somebody enjoys a product enough, they're gonna keep buying it over and over again after they run out. They can't do that if they can't even find the product anymore or they find it at some ridiculous price from a third party seller. And btw it turns out I was right about Pretty Deadly. I don't see them at Walmart anymore and I don't even see any perfumes listed on Drew's Flower website.

This is a nice scent and I think Sunshine is the perfect name for it. Its smells like happy flowers. I'm just disappointed in the longevity and sillage. The other perfumes in this line have very good longevity and sillage so I'm not sure what happened with this one. I will not be rebuying this one simply because I have to spray it on every hour. At day one of owning it half the bottle was gone.

Where's the cedar in the notes? I swear I smell cedar. I bought this blind, without smelling it. When I did put it on, the first thing that came to mind was Light Blue by D&G. It's almost like an exact copy, but much lighter. So if you are looking for a very affordable dupe of Light Blue, look no further.

I bought this blind based on all of the good reviews but there's just something I don't like about it. I don't know enough about perfumes to pinpoint the scent that's putting me off but I'm getting something synthetic that smells really bad on me. Sorry Drew, this one has got to go!

This is pretty much D&G Light Blue, but in a prettier bottle. PLEASE do NOT even consider paying $100+ for this in Ebay! I found this and Sultry at my local Burlington for only $9.99.
