Midsummer Fig

It was a blind buy, but I do love it!! It's very citrusy and a little bit flowery, with the tiniest fig trail. I love cedar and its a base note here so I automatically love it. Its not very strong at all though, disappears quickly, it's probably nice for intimate moments though

Okay so now that i have had some time to think about and play around with this one I have noticed that it doesn't really deserve the dislike it gets. While I know that these kind of scents are not exactly among the most popular sweet/floral kind of scents I must say i actually really like this perfume. This perfume is definitely a citrus juicy floral forward scent. When I first sprayed it i got fondly reminded of another scent I adore, Floraiku's AO. There is a ripe juicy refreshing fig scent that is the entire heart of this fragrance, its fairly green in nature and has that light woodiness deep in there. The first part of it that i smell is that slight bitter but fresh citrus scent, sort of like when you run your nails across the skin of an orange or a lemon. After that settles down a bit, i can smell the fig and citrus intermingling and it remains present throughout the dry down, similar to like how AO has a powerful rich ripe fig in its dna with green notes complimenting it. I can still smell that citrus alongside it which is giving that green refreshing side. I know a lot of people might be off put by this since its not the typical but this is definitely a beautiful fragrance, however it is much lighter than like AO or Indigo's powerful presence. (which I tested indigo with it as well to see similarities, however indigo is more spicy and deep like the night versus it while this one feels more bright like the day) I can definitely enjoy wearing this in warmer weather, especially with my other favorite summery figs/seabreeze scents. (Like how I enjoy Womanity/Pour Elles + Olympea + Sleeping Beauty {for that lighter olympea feel}. I think this might pair very nicely with my Alien Eau Extraordinaire as well) I know those perfumes are not exactly up everyone's alley but i know there are lovers of these beauties, me included. I think if someone enjoys citrus and fig in a scent then they might actually enjoy this perfume too, outside its aesthetics of course.

That's a good perfume. It smells of bitter dried fruits. It's a little sweet. But it doesn't last long.

I will advice everyone to stay away from this perfume, its the worst of all of Flower Knows perfumes. I find it hard to describe, best I can say is pungent. Go for its twin sister Reverie Rose, its a beautiful rose perfume that smell very similar to Lancomes Mille et une roses.

I can't help but wonder if the tester is sprayed in Urban Outfitters was a bad batch. It smells so bad, I can't imagine how anyone would think this smells good.
