Illusion D'un Soir

This, of all my 300+ fragrances, garnets me more compliments from the ladies than any other scent than I own, and believe me I own some absolute bangers. For whatever reason, this stuff works on me like lightning in a bottle. I bought 2 additional bottles as backup. Great job Fragrancebuy!

Those who said tha Illusion d' un Soir is similar to Red Tobacco, haven ́t smelled neither of them :-) :-). Very good fragrance , initial five minutes can be too sweet for some noses, but the dry down is just fantastic.

This reminds me a very potent melted down Root beer float. Very sexy! On me its beast mode and completely unisex. Worth every penny even a 3x's the price 👌

I've had this for a few weeks, now- it gets better and better... Great deal on a wonderful fragrance.

Maybe i would say something strange . But Asylum smells stronger and lasts longer than this . Maybe it's just composition , what makes my nose blind. Smell is hard to describe , it's smells good and you can notice , that it slightly changes after each smell. Will update review

Sweet, warm and cozy! I’m not usually a fan of sweeter scents but this one does it right. The benzoin and amber really shine. Blind buy safe.

Has anyone gotten Mugler Amen vibes from this? Thats the first thing I thought of when I first sprayed it on.

The opening of this was awful for me - very sweet saccharin like cough syrup or candy smell. Once it settled down after about 30 mins, it smelled like a more tolerable rose-scented frag to my nose. I found the performance quite weak. I will try to sell my bottle.

So I had this for 1 year (as soon as it dropped) and I also have Barrakat Ambre Eve and I have smelled the original Grand Soir. The 2 dupes are great but different interpretations of Grand soir. - Ambre Eve has Much more benzoin and is more mature and a little darker - Illusion d'un soir (Fomo) is much more leaning on a very naturalistic vanilla pod smell with it's natural acidic nature, has less benzoin, is sweeter and has a slight musky feel. - The OG is somewhere in the middle but I remember it being less "benzoiny" than Ambre eve although less sweet that Fomo's. I use Ambre eve on it's own or layer it (typically I do it with a Baccarat 540 dupe, specially Alhambra's Baroque rouge as it's more jasmin focused) I use Fomo's illusion always layered never on it's ow as it's too sweet , I typically laer it with a more spicy woody fragrance like a Boss bottle absolue clone such as Asad Elixir.

I'm surprised that there's not yet been a huge hype for the FOMO fragrance.. The name itself hints at which fragrance it will be inspired by - the great Grand Soir from MFK..But the red color of the bottle itself shows another direction of the story where it will all go.. The presentation itself awaits you with a nicely made box with a very nice heavy bottle...The cap is not plastic but iron and just as heavy..The sprayer is one of the best you'll get in this price range! The fragrance itself? Very nicely executed and a good execution for my concepts of at least two fragrances... For me, this is a hybrid of Grand Soir and Mancera's Red Tobacco.. We get a gourmand strong, thick sweet and spicy fragrance with very good projection and longevity! I got quite a few compliments during the wear - the perfume profile is ideal for winter-autumn! For this price its simply perfect...
