Pannaco Tahaa

Pannaco Tahaa opens with a bright mango note, with a dash of orange and already touched by vanilla. Then it evolves into a smooth and gentle pannacotta accord, almost silky, with light vanillic undertones. The latter vanilla bridges into the Tahitian vanilla extract in the base, further enhancing the creaminess of the composition. Tonka, benzoin and saffron combine to create a gourmand backbone, perfectly enhancing the previous notes, and expanding the scent's enveloping nature. Lastly, a clean white musk perfectly ties around the blend, setting it in place. Overall it feels really fruity at first, with that mango coming out as juicy and borderline green. It even manages to replicate that slight bitter green nuance of an unripe mango. Despite being described as a top note, the mango impression lasts throughout most of the scent's life, changing with time... When the heart starts to come out, it's almost as if the mango ripens a bit, becomes smoother, more mellow, developing into a pannacotta silkiness... It still has a lightness to it, but becomes more gooey. Then the base starts to come through, and that Tahitian vanilla extract, combined with the tonka, benzoin and saffron, really makes the mango feel completely ripe! It's like it finally hits its full apex of development, becoming fully fruity, sweet, smooth, enticing and almost carnal... The white musk acts almost like a soft glaze that puts the perfect final touch to the scent... Sometimes it even feels like there's a glimmer of incense somewhere, though that's probably the darker facets of the vanilla extract mixed with the other base notes. In the end, Pannaco Tahaa was a delightful surprise for me! It's a mango scent that matures from fruit to dessert, to a fantastic gourmand experience! I'm loving my time with it!🤗🧡🥭

I finally found a mango scent that I love, and I have tried them all (God of Fire, Cruz del Sur II, Fame, Carioca Hearts, Sunsplosion, City Rhythm, etc). I pretty much gave up on mango as most of the mango notes I have come across are too sweet and synthetic. Growing up around mangoes I can assure you that mangoes are not always pretty and sweet - they are fairly indolic, pungent, and earthy depending on the variety; some smell better than others. Pannaco Tahaa manages to accurately capture the scent of mangoes- more specifically unripe green mangoes - sweet, raw, earthy and slightly acidic. The mango in PT definitely isn't the juvenile, sugary-sweet, tropical cocktail style mango which I suspect most blind buyers were expecting (hence the reviews). The mango is raw and acidic. The sweetness of the vanilla and panacotta balance the mango out gorgeously. I think it was genius of Sarah Burri to curate a more green and earthy mango note as this blend would have been stomach churningly sweet if sweeter mango variety/note was utilized. The final dry down is a gorgeous creamy, green tropical-vanilla. The longevity also deserves a nod as it is becoming harder and harder to come across fragrances that actually last. This should be rated much, much higher.100% worth sampling, and even blind buying if you want an acidic and sweet photorealistic mango fragrance.

So the opening is strong and there is a spiciness that can throw you off. This is a green mango and you do get the orange and the vanilla and the saffron and spices can be a bit much if you out your nose to skin a bit much but if you let the village just do its thing and give it time and let it sit. And give it say an hour it becomes creamy and I can really smell that panna cotta take over and the fruits start to become smoother with the vanilla and it all becomes more at one and it’s becomes more creamy and fruity and balanced and just a hint of spicy. They dry down is where this fragrance is at so past the 2-3 hour mark and as its BEAST MODE and I mean beast you can still smell it on your skin the next day is when is all starts to blend and become more creamy and well balanced it’s the beginning that it is a bit off and green mango meets overwhelming spice. But it’s the dry down th at something great happens. And so I have sprayed it a few times left the cap off in hopes the vanilla notes and panna cotta notes in this will mature and become even more beautiful quicker.

At this point, Pannaco Tahaa is my favorite summer fragrance of all time. Bar none. It opens with a Big, tart, juicy, sugary sweet mango. The orange is definitely there to uplift the brightness and juicy aspect— it blends right in rather than being detectable as “orange” and helps the mango truly shine in the opening. Mouthwatering. Over the next 30-45 minutes the saffron becomes more present, adding a soft, floral spice. The sweetness from the beginning grows and becomes distinctly vanilla’s. It’s mango milkshake; with the benzoin, tonka, and white musk adding just enough depth and back bone to give grown and sultry. It’s perfect, strong projection and longevity and a perfect gourmand for high heat. 🥭🥛🍦🍊🍨🍮🥭 Bonus: I layered this beauty with Profumum Roma’s Gioisa on a recent, 75F summer evening. My fiancé couldn’t pry his face off of me for at least 10 minutes. His words, “You smell, Divine”.

The opening is full of bright citrus with a soft sweetness in the background. After a few minutes something really beautiful starts to come through. I think it's the pannacotta with the orange and maybe a touch of mango, but to be honest, I don't get a strong mango note. What stands out to me is the creamy bakery-like feeling. Vanilla, tonka, orange /mango and the pannacotta create a soft gourmand scent, but it never feels overly sweet or sticky. If anything, it feels like a dry gourmand. I think the saffron might be stopping it from becoming too sugary, but I'm not completely sure. Everything feels smooth, calm and really well blended. It's comforting without being heavy, and I keep wanting to smell my wrist. This is absolutely beautiful. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

A very good mango cream scent and yet sophisticated. The initial spray got a fresh ripened mango with some vanilla and florals, but the dry down will be so elegant and ravishing. PT lingers around you for 6+ hours and settles down like a cream curd cheesy mango with vanilla topping!! The longevity is solid 12-15 hours on my skin and days on clothes! Give it a try!!

Beautiful take on mango dessert, very nice balance overall, even though opening has a lot of acidity. Give it 15-20 minutes to settle and enjoy. It has wonderful sillage and on chillier summer days it collects attention like no other mango fragrance I own. I find lable design a bit cheap looking, but fragrance inside is well worth the price.

shits on every mango fragrance ever idc. these comments r really misleading you! Super heavy sweet vanilla cream with a yellow sweet mango sorbet that is not too sour. Sits on ur skin forever and people around you enjoy the smell. after 5-6 hours it is like a cloud of super soft ice cream with wiffs of mango candy. 10/10

WOW! I absolutely love this!!! Green mango and it's got a tartness to it. The mango mixed with this beautiful dare I say best creme Brule note I've ever smelled!!! So rich and decadent the sweet Ness and creamy desert Iwith this fruity juicy mango 🥭 FULLBOTTLE WORTHY!!

After spraying this I had a dejà-vú.. I’ve smelled this before, Cruz del Sur II ! It’s a similar mango note so if you have Cruz del Sur II you don’t need this one. It’s a smooth vanilla/mango perfume, smells delicious and addictive.

Luckyscent sent me a dabber of this. Not my usual genre (gourmandish), but it's really great. Not too sweet, with almost oudy notes in the base. It's addictive. Would file with Eris' Delta of Venus, but this may be even better.

Amazing creamy mango with hints of spices. i really enjoyed this one and had to add to wishlish just so good mango scent. if you like mango you will like this one a lot.

Pannaco tahaa, est vraisemblablement la nature d'un projet abouti. N'en déplaise à certain, il est aujourd'hui socle d'une nouvelle marque, d'une équipe qui n'est pas neuve dans la parfumerie et qui sais faire des choix. On ressent cette qualité de matière premières un parfum d'une douceur extrêmement gourmande. Pour ma part, une mangue douce, légère recouverte d'une note crémeuse, lacté. Le safran viens donner du corps à la référence et sans oublier cette sublime orange de Sicile en ouverture. Cette orange vanaglia qui apporte la pleine lumière à ce parfum des les 1eres minutes. Un oriental, un gourmand ? Faites vous votre propre idée mais chose sur vous apprécierez au moins le découvrir.

This smells photorealistic melon rather than mango to me (a slightly overriped one). It’s really fresh and fruity and delicious, but you also have some crazy spice here (probably saffron) that makes it not-so-gourmand I say.

Deliciously creamy gourmand mango orange bomb! Strong, long lasting, juicy, and sweet. Loud at first but more intimate sillage after a couple hours.

To me this is not really a photorealistic gourmand, it has some fresh fruit to it, like mango and a bit of not too ripe banana, some green, a bit of creaminess. It is quite pretty. But it does also have some pretty strong, deep and a bit too serious base, which reminds me of some familiar perfumes that are strong, gourmand leaning but not too high quality (think dupe brands). The latter aspect is a bit off putting for me, so even though the green creamy mango which definitely stays through wear is nice, I do not like to wear it myself. Still worth trying if you want a unique, longlasting mango scent.

IMO a really creative fragrance, basically a dessert gourmand for the summer! I hate this kind of description but it has a "designer-like" feel to it so I think it's really mass appealing. Central panacotta note with mango, vanilla and hints of orange being the main supporters. Despite it's milky and sweet profile it's a summer fragrance, maybe not for the extreme heat though. Projection is great and longevity is def around 10hrs+ (on clothes I got +12hrs). 8/10 fragrance, even though it's not my style that much.

This is definitely a mango scent, but it is a warm and spicy mango scent with powdery aspects to it. I think it's okay because it isn't a tart mango so it doesn't smell disgusting on my skin. But it isn't very exciting even though it isn't a basic mango scent- it seems pretty linearly spicy/powdery the whole way. I think calling it "pannaco" or implying there's a pannacotta note seems like pure marketing here. There isn't enough sugarly vanilla-ness or lactonic notes here to imply a creamy dessert.

This is not what I thought it would be. This is not a tart mango. It’s sweet mango cream but with some spices in it. Reminds me of a mango version of Ambre d’Alexandrie or Brecourt Farah. Longevity is great!

This is NOT Cruz del sur like. This is Aromatic Saffron with smooth panna cotta and top note of orange.. nothing like Cruz del sur. Barely any mango. This is a fruity version of Commodity Milk

It has a bright mango note, its a nice fruity fragrance with some creaminess. Sadly made with the wrong musc, smells like sweat. The sweaty musc takes over the whole fragrance and ruines it.

This is so good!! To anyone who is not a fan of saffron like I'm not a fan of it, it's really not noticeable to me in here. This is REALLY good!!!

I have been looking for a great mango scent and thought this was the one, but it is not. The beginning is very mismatched and chaotic. Then the mango comes through, but right at the same time or shortly after, comes the strong woody and chemical base. The mango stays strong throughout, but so does the base, and as someone who hates oud, I swear I can smell oud in here. Who thought this was a great idea to mix a summer mango note perfume, which should be light (er) and fresh, with a strong woody, wintery base?!

This is waay too much. I can smell the mango, but not in the fresh, juicy way, but the cloying, annoying way, like it was left out in the sun for too long, and it is warm, sticky, almost rotten. Pannacotta? Come on... there is some lactonic sweetness, but pannacotta is not it. Saffron is overpowering, not in harmony with the fruity notes.. I hope noone is planning to wear this in my surrounding, it's really annoying.

She’s cute! I am getting a tart green Thai mango with some citrus. There is definitely a musky/powder element that makes this fragrance a bit different from my other mango fragrances. If you are a mango lover this may be a good addition to the collection. Projection and longevity are great. I am curious to see how the bottle matures.

Very green (like unripe bananas and mangoes) and citric, which seems to clash with the more subtle gourmand facets.

Something in here I don't like...ambroxan or synthetic screechy musk or SOMETHING. Not a fan.

The mango note is delicious but unfortunately the resinous base is exceedingly too strong.

(Sorry to bash, so terribly, but I HAVE TO on this one) I REALLLYYY thought this was going to be a BIG win for me, as every note is up my love alley. BUT this was a HUGE nope, so BIG tip....please for the love of your higher power, sample 1st!!! As it's not anything like you're expecting. I promise you that lol. Even if you like it, I can guarantee it's not what you expected it to be lol. I didn't like it b/c it smelt like sliced mango, accidentally dropped into a bowl of spoiled hot milk, in the sun, an orange is sitting near by on the table & some vomit on the ground from smelling the curled milk 🤣 To me this literally smells...just plain ROTTEN. Mango/orange just SMOTHERED in rotten milk & vomit, add only a splash of vanilla and top off with a dash of spicy saffron. Worst perfume I've ever smelt in my entire life, its haunted my scent memories, and no I'm absolutely NOT exaggerating. I'm so so sad, as I really love mango & all creamy, milky, like notes. I thought this would be my summer time gourmand. While it is "gourmand" it's no where near a good one & on top of that imo this is way too stinky, rotten, dense and beast mode to even wear in the summer. If you do like this I feel it would shine better in cool to cold weather. I also feel that rotten milky note will be worsened in the heat of the summer. This is unisex tho...lol. Super big bummer, just glad I tested for once in my life lmao I would of died in horror if I blind bought this 🤣😅😭 hope y'all test 1st and have better luck than I.

I am totally addicted to mango, but was sadly disappointed by this one. Smelled a lot like a cheap body spray mango gone wrong with an overdose of benzoin and tonka that didn't sit right in the dry down at all. Like a sour mango, instead of what I was hoping for from the notes (panacotta mango, or even better, sticky rice with mango). Sigh. My top three mangos currently for anyone on the hunt are Taj Sunset, Aphrodite, and - of course - Mugler La Croiserie (the yellow one). Still very hard to beat these three beauties. The chemical/resin in the base ruins what could have been amazing. On the plus side, the overpowering oud-like base does make it more long lasting, with an extra projection beyond most mangos. The only problem is I don't like the scent that's projecting, 😂

Bought the official sample from the brand, had high hopes but it was an instant scrubber. The mango note is vile here - spicy, synthetic and definitely nothing to do with my beloved Mango skin. Passing the sample over to my friends, cause blekh

This smells like babysitting feral children who have never heard the words "no" once in their life. What starts as a cloying bubblegum that turns into freshly-heaved vomit. A lactonic, gastrointestinal-tinged nightmare for the ages.

I am a mango fan. I own many mango frag. And I love lactonic frag too. I wanted to love this one but it is way too synthetic and metallic for my taste. I am sad because the longevity is awesome

it was bitter and too smoky. I could bet this had oud in it. An instant no. It would make my head hurt or turn me off eating for the whole day if I would have to wear it all day...

On me, it smelled like charred mango. As if someone threw a mango into a fire and it was being burned.

In no particular order because no one note dominates, mango, vanilla, some spice and musk. I lived in Miami for most of my life. I have cut open many, many mangos. This smells as realistic and better than fresh mangos. I hate musk as a rule but in this it is necessary to tame the sweetness and it compliments the other notes really well. It just works, even for me. It more than works, I like it. In the bottle it smells too sweet. On skin the musk kicks in and really evens things out. Before I put it on I thought no way this is this unisex. This is going to be way too sweet and fruity. Nope. The way I experience the musk backed by the spices I think this leans more masculine. Either way give it a shot. To some they may dismiss this thinking it might be kid stuff swinging a sledgehammer but it is not. This is much more sophisticated than it presents sampled from the bottle. On card mostly mango and citrus. It smelled good and I knew I was going to like it but it really takes off when on skin. This came in a batch of 10 mystery samples from TPG. If two or three more are half as good as this I will have more than gotten my moneys worth.

I honestly wrote this one off. The beginning is just OOF! It’s all over the place and I’m not quite sure why. Maybe the saffron clashing with the others? I don’t think it’s the rest of the base notes because as I let this dry down, I found myself coming back to smell my arm - thinking what is that sweet smell?! What did I spray?! On paper this seems like it would be great from start to finish but unfortunately it wasn’t. It’s a little too brash in the beginning so I’m not sure I’ll get a FB but I’ll keep testing.

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful ! I thought this will be a very gourmand fragrance but it's a wonderful balance between fruity and gourmand. A very good evolution where vanilla and spices comes to charm and warm you. We smell so much that the ingredients are natural wow it's very rare to smell something so natural from the mango to the vanilla. Definitely in my collection and in the top 3 of my fragrances. Thank you so much, the discovery of the year !

* Thick creamy mango. I fell in love on first sniff. Imagine being in Boracay, in the Philippines; it’s the height of summer, the air is thick with humidity, you’re watching the sun set and it’s so beautiful you cry at its beauty. You just had dinner with the love of your life and are eating dessert, a decadent velvety mango & vanilla mousse. Take that whole vibe, bottle it and call it Pannaco Tahaa.

The beginning for me is more like a medicine, not good at all. The dry down is sweeter, and smells like pure mango. very sweet, but just like a skin scent. I bought a decant. I don't think I will buy a bottle.

This is the type of mango perfume I needed! Gourmand mango, sweet, ripe & juicy. Longevity is insane, sillage is beyond insane. My personal favorite and I can’t wait to see what dessert will be next 🤍

Lord, this was a solid no. It smelled...old. Like old food, a bit of dirt, and something musty dying in the background. My sample hit the garbage can immediately. IMMEDIATELY.
