Red Keela Split

Well this one is super interesting! The closest I have is Claire's Pistache Cerise, which is a cherry pistachio vanilla sundae with chocolate. This one has the same fruity + pistachio + vanilla/milk + sweet bean (in this case tonka), but man - that banana note is cool! It's very banana-y, like a fresh ripe banana rather than banana candy, and complements the whipped cream nicely to create a smooth, sweet undertone to the tarter fruit. There's no cherry here, but strawberry is here to play. In fact, the opening is pure gourmand: strawberry-banana-pistachio-whipped cream-caramel. As time progresses, these notes stay, but the ambroxan, tonka and sandalwood develop more strongly. I find it more addictive as time progresses and the wood notes step in to balance the gourmand ones. It's a really interesting journey. I was unsure in the first 15m if I would ever actually wear it, but once the basenotes kick in it's totally wearable and chic. Might have to get a full bottle now - darnit! Why do these new perfumes all have to be so good? ps. double darnit as after three hours I am completely obsessed with this. It's so different and delicious. Darn you, FOMOWA! My pocketbook needs a rest!

Creamy orange-blossom sorbet topped with whipped cream, add in a couple slices of banana, garnish with a few pieces of crushed fresh (unsalted) pistachio. That's what this smells like. It is a gourmand, but not as photo-realistic as you'd think from the notes because the orange blossom is showing up. It's actually really pretty. I do get that ambroxan & a little sandalwood in the base but it's not too heavy. I like this. Right now I'm ok with my 10ml decant, but wouldn't have been mad if I blind bought this. I am reminded of NAVITUS Baklava Royale (when I first bought it - before the musk took over the scent profile). I'd say it's a cousin to that fragrance... Cut out the heavy Navitus musk. Cut out the caramel-toffee feel and then add a lot of whipped cream and this would be pretty similar. They are no where near dupes but I am getting some similarities, mainly from the orange blossom probably.

Finally, the long-awaited bottle is in my hands! Firstly, it is aesthetically satisfying, the brand is relatively new but I can assure you - this is top class! One press and .... Creamy pistachio gelato, ripe banana, strawberries ... and not fresh strawberries, but dark jam from those strawberries flavored with slightly smoky tonka beans .. all this recreates the aroma of strawberry hookah for my nose ... there is a moment when I would like to say, what kind of chemicals is this, but this is start of the molecular part that beautifully unfolds in the base, but in no case does not itch the nose. The fragrance is non- cloying gourmandish, moderately woody, not a single note is annoying, moderately fruity, pleasantly caramelish, molecular in modern way, extremily sexy for all genders... Mouthwatering, delectable, intoxicating... I can lose myself deeply sniffing this! Imagine a pistachio, almond baklava that isn't syrupy or greasy but nutty, warm, scrumptious without heaviness. This is topped with a dollop of fruits, slightly candied but not fermented / overly ripe. I've had 3 compliments so far on the 2 days of wearing it outside, with one person asking for my decant. One of the best nut-based gourmand scents I've smelt in years. Elie Saab, Aqua Di Parma, even Dior's hypnotic poison have nothing on this. Brava Camille Leguay, I will be wearing this on the regular.

This is extra beautiful and cozy. I’m so used to smelling pistachio in fragrances and getting sick/tired of them, but the one in here is immaculate. It’s a creamy custard creme with pistachio filling and caramel. It’s hard to describe since I have no other gourmand fragrance that smells like this. Unique and very niche smelling. If you are used to celebrity or designers perfumes, you might be a bit inexperienced for this level of greatness. I’m so glad I discovered this gem 💎 it’s literally perfect. This is a fragrant journey. I love all the different stages. To my nose it isn’t synthetic at all, it’s just multifaceted and you will get the perfect flavors from all the ingredients involved. Olfactory speaking — “flavors”. It is a creamy, delightful vanilla, plus a fruity mix, slightly nutty, and nothing comes up loud or too sweet. It is just perfect. Get yourself a sample if you are not fully convinced. It is out of the ordinary and it lasts forever on skin. Not too loud but not too weak either.

It is quite delicious 😋 and the fact that it doesn’t smell like anything else is just amazing and worthwhile. Much better than Ambrosia Imperiale. Red Keela has a perfume quality to it, it’s not just a foodie fragrance. I love how everything just blends in perfectly.

Not what I expected. Wanted a delicious, fruity dessert, with cream, caramel, vanilla, and especially banana and perhaps some strawberries. However, it is not as sweet and the particular fruit notes do not stand out. It is almost more powdery floral than a fruity gourmand, with emphasis on almost. It reminds me a little of a nice fruity shampoo (which for me is not a bad thing), just on a more powdery side. Also it is more like generic nice feminine perfume, than a gourmand bomb, which might be really appealing to some... If I needed to compare it to something, it reminds me of Buontalenti by Profumo di Firenze, but stripped of its sweet and slightly creamy deliciousness/fruitiness. Performance of Red Keela Split is also on a bit lacking side. Glad I did not blind buy a full bottle. However, don't get me wrong, I still like it. It's just not what I was expecting :)

First wear this year and completely changed my mind. It lasts quite a long time, it doesn’t seem synthetic but it is quite sweet. In a creamy banana pistachio vanilla way. I get the strawberry too but more in a pink sugar way. The banana is leaning more banana popsicle but not to the point of treacle. I am not picking up sandalwood at all and if there is lemon it’s faint but I’m still waiting for the dry down. And to all the women out there who think fragrance has an age limit c’mon! Wear what makes you happy. Fruity isn’t girlie and yellow florals are not old lady and gourmands make foodies happy. So when it’s your time wear what makes you feel like your best self that day!

I just got mine. It's not bad and well blended. You can't pinpoint any notes in particular but creamy notes prevail. It's comforting and smells pleasant. Nothing nauseating to me because I like sweet. Still trying it out but for now, I am enjoying it and wear it a lot.

Smells like Accident a la Vanille Creme de Berry but a tad less creamy. Like very much but I'd wear it as an every day scent, as it's too ''B&BW'' to go out in unless you're under 25

Delicious. Reminds me very much of stepping into a Cold Stone Creamery shop. Fruits, cream, and loads of pistachio. A well done gourmand.

That’s a very unique gourmand scent that smells like minty coconut and bubblegum to me. Weird but also addictive at the same time.

I smell milky pistachio. Yummy! No banana, no strawberry. Longevity like all gourmand fragrances on me 3 hours max.

This smells like a sweet, synthetic, soapy coconut on my skin. I thought I would like it for the banana but I can’t even smell it. It smells like red koolaid mixed with Palmer’s cocoa butter & dial soap. 😑

Powdery and sweet, almost smells like bubblegum. The pistachio is delicious but weak, banana, strawberry and lemon non-existent.

It's like a banana you can't eat because it's obviously fake but really want to eat because it smells so good.

I smell red-purple fruits with black licorice 😕

I tried this over and over, desperately wanting to love this as much as most reviewers seem to. At this point, I can officially say I hate it. It smells exactly like a car air freshener that’s so overwhelming, you have to roll all the windows down to feel like you can breathe.

It reminds me of car freshener and unfortunately too nauseating. The notes looked delicious and promising but I realized that banana ruins the fragrance.
