I’m really not understanding all of the negative reviews surrounding this fragrance!!?! She smells absolutely DELICIOUS! If you are a sweet gourmand lover then this is the perfect sweet feminine fragrance for you! Let me tell you what I smell... Sweet spicy ginger zest Whipped Cream/meringue & sugar VANILLA VANILLA SWEET VANILLA just like Bianco latte. Yummy sweet lemon poundcake. This scent is a delicious sexy gourmand! Not understanding the hate for the fragrance? TikTok - earth_divine360 TikTok- Bamsbeautyworld I love gourmands done right, and this is a 100000 / 10! Plus it last all day long. Layer with marshmallow pouf by skin champagne and/or Vanilla cashmere by Eos. She’s great alone! She’s that good. But if your into layering try iced lemon poundcake by bath & body and a spritz of Kayali Vanilla 28! If you love Vanilla 28 then you will love this fragrance! This fragrance is waaaay sweeter than Vanilla 28 & sweeter than bianco latte. To my nose & imo. I do not smell jasmine in this fragrance, just a delicious lemon poundcake with whipped cream & sugar with ginger zest on top. Delicious! Try by itself before you judge

Hard to Get is really good — it gives full beachside energy, like you’re sitting in the sun with a piña colada in your hand. It’s bright, citrusy, and sweet with a creamy, coconut-adjacent vibe, even though there’s actually no coconut listed in the notes. The fragrance is built on just three notes — jasmine, vanilla, and citrus — but together they create a warm, tropical feel that smells like sunshine and vacation. For reference, I’m a woman in my late 40’s. This smells so much like a tasty orange creamsicle mixed with light florals. Also, lasts for several hours on skin, better than most citrus perfumes. Lovely warm weather scent, that can also be a nice pick-me-up in winter (due to the vanilla). I will be getting more of this, as it’s my favorite citrus scent so far.

This is a creamy vanilla and citrus perfume like a soft creamy lemon cake. The lemon note is not harsh at all like some citrusy perfumes, it’s perfectly creamy and soft. My only complaint is the sillage and longevity. Most of my perfumes project, but this is very soft and light. And after a few hours I don’t smell it much if at all. I wish it lasted longer.

nice and sweet lemon scent once it’s sprayed but settles into a yummy vanilla. reminds me a lot of the bare vanilla mist by victoria’s secret , or bare vanilla golden also , so i don’t hate it. wish it projected longer.

this is what i wanted lira by xerjoff to be. it lasts soooo long on my skin and holds on to the lemon note way longer than in lira. amazing to layer with other fragrances too. jackie knows what she is doing for sure

this is such a beautiful creamy lemon scent. i don’t get any type of spice from this, it’s just straight lemon and cream. i plan on purchasing a full size for the summer 9/10!

this scent slaps but of course the lemon doesn't last very long . something to throw on for a short occasion like lunch in the summer.

This is so similar to Devotion but more lemony instead of orange-y. I love it, but you don't need both!

This list is missing some of the best notes on here, especially the freesia, Jasmine and lemon blossom

definitely get the whipped vanilla and lemon, but there are no sharp citric edges that you get with the other lemony gourmands on the market! sweet and creamy but still light and airy enough for warmer weather. out of the 4, this was the one from the collection that I smelled in store and immediately added to my cart for the Sephora sale! from first spray I found it quite strong for a citrus scent and with decent lasting power. I don’t mind that jasmine comes out more in the dry down since it’s one of my fav notes, but if you are sensitive to it, it might be good to do a longer wear test on skin before purchase

This is good - it's the "instant" love from this collection, for me. I had a few scents that all smelled the same in this category, and I let a few go. I kept this mainly because of the compliments and the ease of wear. This is one of my fave scents to wear because it smells good, lasts, and gives me compliments. People like the sugary lemon, and I do as well. I have the Capri by Kayali and they're similar, but the Kayali one really doesn't last like this - and layers better with other's where this is great alone. I enjoy this by itself the most.

Scrumptious. I was sniffing through perfumes I hadn't tried before at Sephora yesterday and this one stopped me in my tracks. I had no clue of the notes or scent type before hand but I am a lover of the citrussy gourmand. It's so yummy! sweet sweet lemon candy with some jasmine florals. I think I do still prefer my Akro Bake which has no florals.

I love capri in a bottle by Kayali this smells almost identical to me or at least the same vibes. I would get a billion bottles but lemon scents just do not last on my skin :( if you don’t care about longevity and love a delicious lemon pound cake smell get this!!

true to nature lemon pound cake that drys down into a nice jasmine scent. may be a little basic for some, but i like it for what it is — a good balance of fruity and gourmand without being offensive on the senses.

Super sweet and definitely a yellow fragrance. It may starts out as a fluffy citrus whip, but I get crushed pineapple in the dry down.

I really wanted this to project more!!! I’m an oversprayer and this did not project at all 🙃 I had to turn my head quickly to get wafts of the scent. Had to put nose to wrist in order to smell it after an hour. Has some similarities to Kayalis Capri but Kayali has a more distinct lemon scent. Overall it’s decent.

Sugary lemon scent that lasts about 1 hour which is a bummer so for that reason it’s not worth the price. The drydown is a powdery vanilla. It’s very similar to kayali lemon capri but I prefer this one more it’s less sharp and smoother . I just don’t like that it doesn’t last long or project well.

This does smell like a lemon dessert but I like my lemon desserts tart. This is like a sweet, soft, creamy one with very little bite. Honestly, it gives body spray vibes with the quality of the scent. It does smell good, but it also smells cheap in my opinion.

I'm not a huge fan of jasmine, but the citrus notes freshen it up initially. As it settles I get more of a creamy vanilla that I don't necessarily love one myself, but I have a friend that I know would adore this.

The initial spray is so good a warm lemon juicy vanilla and I wish it lasted longer because the Drydown is boring artificial cheap body spray smell like a powdery lemon I don’t enjoy .

I LOOOOVE a citrusy vanilla and this is no exception. That being said, I get distict jasmine in the drydown that I don't enjoy, but it thankfully fades within 10 minutes. A lot of lemon + vanilla perfumes that I love (eg - Akro Bake, Kerosene Unknown Pleasures, etc) have a super strong citrus opening that is a bit overpowering for me, but I get both the citrus and vanilla right from the first spray of Hard to Get. Has moderate sillage and lasts all day. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Akro Bake: similar but more cookie-like ✔️ BBW Iced Lemon Pound Cake: similar ✔️ D&G Devotion: similar but has orange blossom instead of jasmine ✔️ Kayali Capri in a Bottle: very similar ✔️ Le Monde Gourmand Citron Glacé: similar but has less vanilla ❌ Al Rebab Soft: very powdery and not as citrusy ❌ Cirque du Soleil L’eau de Parfum: not citrusy, smells like caramel apples and popcorn ❌ Ex Idolo Love & Crime: more citrusy on the opening and then very cacao heavy after it sits ❌ Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow: not citrusy at all, a creamy strawberry and marshmallow scent ❌ Theodoros Kalotinis Lemon Tart: smells like lemon cleaner ❌ Xerjoff Lira: more caramel and vanilla heavy, only really get the citrus in the opening

a hard truth—citrus scents will NEVER last in the dry down...this is no exception. it is a sad reality in every perfumes journey into conveying that perfect non-cleaner scent. opening is a lemon pound cake, which some crave for (I do not however)—dry down is that vanilla icing, powdery too. let me tell you something, you will never find a long lasting citrus-that is not possible due to its structure, but this is a delight if you don’t mind reapplying to keep that lemon zest!

Xerjoff lira, akro bake, gabbana devotion and forvr mood hard to get they are very similar, if you really like this scent profile there is a very slight difference in each one , im sure u ll like all if them but if you are blind buying get one of them is enough. I personally like lira the best but it’s only a very tiny difference, choose the one that fits ur price point. You can’t get wronged in either one.

Hard to Get opens like a sweet enough lemon hard candy. The vanilla makes it smell like the yellow starburst. I wish the opening lasted forever lol. It eventually dries down in close to an hour to the Xerjoff Lira mid-dry down smell. At this point it also smells like the D&G Devotion Intense and the original's dry-down. Redundant in my collection at the moment.

Favorite out of the 4 but the jasmine can be a bit much for me, would be better without it! It’s a lightly sugared lemon scent but makes it “perfumey” more than realistic. However that jasmine comes in early on & stays the entire time & tends to make it more floral than my liking.

I’ve been liking softer fragrance lately and this checked the box for me. Simple clean, fresh, musk. Dang the longevity is terrible:( Maybe 2 hours tops. I also have Capri in a bottle and that is much more realistic lemonade/lemon sugar and this more floral to my nose.

This fragrance is a weaker copy dupe of Khadlaj Empire Victor Eau de Parfum. Definitely( updated version) Khadlaj Empire Victor Eau de Parfum is 100% a better choice because this hard to get is a edt version of that. This smells cheap after 35 mins.

This smells like a sweet and creamy citrus. I've heard "lemon merengue" and that's pretty spot on. Perfectly blended so it's not too sweet, not too citrus-y but also not too creamy. It's perfect and definitely my fav out of the 4.

Wow what a wonderful surprise! Reminds me so much of Hufflepuff without the hefty price tag. Such a dreamy lemon/vanilla perfume with great longevity. You will get compliments galore. In stock at Sephora. 🍋☁️🍦💛

Super lemony and yummy.. Few mins in I get like a cuddly smoky campfire vibe. Reminds me of summer.. like late August, early evening.. after spending a day at the lake.. sitting by a campfire.

Literally want to cry when I found out you can't get this anywhere near my europe.... In my head it's the best summer scent ever, but I guess I'll never know..

Tried this at Sephora and LOVED it - but good god, 2.5 hours later and it's a ghost. I would buy a full size in a minute if it had any staying power.

dry down is IDENTICAL to Xerjoff's Lira, opening is more fresh and sparkling. The tester bottle lasted the whole day on my skin

Vanilla! Vanilla. And again vanilla. This will test your love for vanilla. Dry down has a baked goods vibe that I love. Girly.
