Eau Du Bonheur

I just opened a sample of this in eau de parfum concentration. And that's more like it ! Is seems to be special Christmas edition gift box with body lotion and it's, oh, so tempting. If it behaves better, then edt, I'm so getting it. I can't get enough of fairly simple 'I just smell effortlessly clean all day long' things and new variations are always welcome. It smells natural, lime is almost photo realistic, base is nice and woody and that hint of vanilla, touch of sweetness you didn't know you needed. Lovely. Four hours wearing it...and I do love it. But, it reminds me of clean, more aquatic than not, stuff from the end of the '90, early '00. In the best way. I still have some of those kicking around, too good to get rid of, but rarely in the mood to wear and finish those bottles. So, it's kind of pointless for me, since I don't wear similar stuff I already have. For those who love it, this edp has much better longevity and sillage, and there is even solid perfume available. But, be quick, it's limited edition.

There is no difference with 'the old 2005' eau de bonheur, so I see no point seperating them. It's quitte possible Fragonard wanted to create a bit of a buzz before Summer, so they 'relaunched' it. I have tried both of them, dreaming of a better longevity, but it's the same. It's lovely as is and I might consider it the future. Keep in mind that it behaves like eau de cologne, it's fresh and short lived. If you accept to apply it aboudantly and frequently, you might enjoy it. Spraying on clothes is a good idea too.

A summer favourite! It's so beautiful in its simplicity, soft cosy citruses, one of the few fragrances one can wear in 35+ heat. Refreshing, calming. I love it. You get 200ml bottle - it's huge! - for a low price - I just make myself a decant and spray few times during the day. It's actually very pleasant to re-apply.

This is a perfect summer fragrance - bright yet grounded. I imagine myself in an English garden, wearing a heavy cotton floral dress, the kind with substance and charm. In my hand, a glass of citrusy lemonade laced with fresh basil. It’s nearly tea time, and I can already catch the scent of fine teas, their leaves still dry, releasing delicate aromas from a beautiful, ornate tea box. The air feels light, my spirit buoyant. In this moment, life is simple and good.

An extremely fresh fragrance that smells mainly of lemon but with a hint of tangerine. After the dry down, the basil becomes perceptible but remains quite subtle, and for me who is not used to smell it in perfumery, I find it quite nice. Nothing exceptional but the whole is nice and above all very refreshing for summer. As usual with Fragonard, excellent value for money. @SniffPuff, this is the only 'Eau du Bonheur' I can see on Fragrantica.

What is the difference between this and Eau du bonheur from 2005 (also listed in fragrantica)?
