Jasmin Perle de Thé

Initial blast delights the senses - fresh, citrusy, feminine. The citrus only sticks around for a few seconds. Then you get a beautiful, clean white floral with plenty of honeysuckle. It's incredibly realistic, as if I'm sniffing real honeysuckle! I'm transported to my dad's backyard...he used to have honeysuckle and I LOVED the way it smelled. I find this floral mix to be delicate and feminine. I love this despite not being into floral-dominant perfumes. It takes a few minutes to detect the tea, but when it does wake up, it's a lovely addition to the mix and tempers the florals beautifully. I would wear this in spring/summer but probably not fall/winter unless I were trying to purposefully evoke a spring vibe around me. I don't understand the graph showing that some people think this is unisex...this is very feminine. Not heavy - if you want others to smell it on you you will probably need to administer a few extra sprays. This is a really lovely fragrance! I will buy again!!

I wrote this review on Amazon for this delightful brew. ------- I'm always searching for authentic jasmine fragrances. Based on some tiny jasmine enfleurage that I cherish (yes, it's still done that way by a select few), this enchanting fragrance by Fragonard is authentic and high-end and (dare I say it?) French. It is sprightly, fresh, subtly green. It does remind me of Paris, in spirit, of the spring of 1968: warm breezes, fat clouds, everyone pleasantly lazy, meditating on the steps of the Sacre Coeur with Paris spread at my feet. One's own interpretation of this gorgeous, happy blend will be unique. The floral essences used are top of the line, and the parfumeur's skill cannot be overstated. Note: after 15 hours (!!!!), the jasmine is close to the body, but still going strong! Incroyable!

Totally agree with the review below mine - this is a fantastically slightly bitter green tea (leaves) and Jasmine, with a gentle backing of lemon & honeysuckle notes. The other notes are surely providing support, but are rather muted, as in you won't detect them distinctively. Jasmine and tea here are lovers, dancing happily away - you won't regret purchasing if you like these two notes as main performers in your choir ;) It is GREAT! Just what I was looking for, insofar floral/refreshing/uplifting notes goes. I will explore Fragonard's offering now, this is an incredible creation for such a small price! Good value and performance, worth the penny. Very pleased with my blind buy!!!

Surprisingly realistic high quality jasmine green tea. I love jasmine tea, only the very best ones are rolled in pearls and this one smells just like mine. It's beautiful. I enjoyed wearing it last summer and I just might buy a bottle for the next one. Longevity was quite good especially compered to other tea themed perfumes. But, come on, how often do we even have perfume concentration as an option ? And at this price range? Perfume it is.

The first Fragonard I bought, blind, off Amazon. Since then I order directly from Fragonard. This is one of my favorite " caffiene substitute" scents. Wake up, get going, conquer the day. It's clean, fresh, cool , invigorating and happy. It's a great way to hold onto the freshly showered feeling too. This is a classy put together scent, but less formal than say, Etoile, from the same house.

Jasmin Perle de Thé smells just cozy – it’s a seamless blend of flowers and bittersweet tea. Jasmine and honeysuckle shine against the background and never become overpowering. Pure summer bliss! I was so excited when I gave this perfume to my sister as birthday gift alongside the matching soap and soapdish. She loved it! And I loved the fact that she enjoyed the fragrance so much.

On the jasmine: It is smooth with a piquancy and freshness of French jasmine. As near as I can tell, Fragonard still maintains its own jasmine fields in Grasse, or at least has nearly a century's worth of local sourcing. This is not a "winter" (or heavier) jasmine that often pairs with patchouli or other darker juice. This is light, open, charming, but with remarkable tenacity.

Oh, I feel that I have ventured into the heavens with this delightful beauty. Fresh, clean, airy, naturalistic jasmine in a glass of the coolest green tea. It has a hint of citrus and other notes, but it's cool simplicity is graceful, light and refreshing. I find this quite long lasting and it leaves a trail around me for a few hours (4-6 sprays). I just want to bathe in it.

As a jasmine lover, I can't stop sniffing myself! The most heavenly jasmine + citrus combination. I smell so clean. Reminds me also of Au The Vert, Bulgari. If you like that, you'll enjoy this too. I will say, if you're looking for a purely *jasmine* scent, then nothing beats One Day's Jasmine Tea. Applied at 10 am and it's now approaching 3 pm. The scent is almost gone.

This is such a beautiful, fresh, floral composition. I don’t detect much of the wood personally, it’s very bright and refined. It’s a very put together scent while being very springy / summery. Longevity and sillage are great. I find it quite linear except for the jasmine coming in stronger as it evolves.

This is gorgeous. A fresh, green jasmine that I love despite not usually being a florals person, with honeysuckle adding to the bouquet. A touch of citrus. The sweetness tempered by slightly bitter tea. It’s exactly what you’d imagine from looking at the fragrance pyramid, and it’s beautiful.

Opened a tester for this and was a bit underwhelmed - for the first 30 seconds it just smelled fresh, nice and citrusy..... and THEN i smelled the pearls of jasmin tea on mi skin! I love jasmin AND tea perfumes - and this is the best of both. I absolutely need a bottle for the summer!

This is what I thought I was going to get when I did my one (and only!) blind buy a hundred years ago of Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden (which I truly couldn't stand). This one, though? What a dream. It smells like freshly cut grass with a little wisp of jasmine. A secret stunner.

An incredibly peaceful and soul-healing scent. Tea and Jasmine, like I was a girl in a dress, sitting and drinking afternoon tea in a spring garden full of blooming flowers. I often wear this fragrance when I need to relax after stressful work hours. Rating: 8/10, so elegant

Gorgeous affordable fragrance. It's fresh, punchy and somewhat realistic, very true to nature. The opening is a zesty and tangy floral scent, the bergamot note is very present, it then develops to a beautiful jasmine tea fragrance. Reminds me of summer.

Super realistic jasmine green tea - like you’ve accidentally spilled a pot all over you. My kind of heaven. Not at all indolic, it’s fresh. A perfect understated everyday scent for spring. Delightful to wear to bed, too.

Refreshing green tea, aromatic jasmine with a bit cooling citrus, light and bright. It is a perfect scent for spring and summer. It won't last long, I think I should apply it at least twice a day.

Absolutely my favorite fragrance of all time. A true jasmine with the warmth of tea, feminine but not overpowering. So lovely!!

Jasmin Perle de Thé opens with a very enjoyable, light jasmine and honeysuckle note, accompanied by a slightly bitter bergamot and juicy lemon. After a moment, the tea and green notes become more apparent. It's a green, herbacious, bitter impression, that's balanced by the sweeter flowers and fresh citrus notes. At this point this is beautiful, grown-up, elegant and light - perfect for warmer weather as a day fragrance. Unfortunately the jasmine is very fleeting on my skin, so in time, I only get the green, grassy and herbal notes mixed with a bit of citrus, the latter of which is the next note to disappear. The fragrance then smells predominantly like the still wet tea leaves remaining in your tea egg, plus a very, very faint honeysuckle. It's not ugly or repulsive, but of course I would like the heart of the fragrance to last longer. So, I put some of it on my dress and there the beautiful flowers remain a lot longer. Maybe this fragrance will remain longer on skin, if you moisterize really, really well. Worth a shot. The fact I can, for now, really only wear it on clothes and hair, makes me hit "like" instead of "love". Other than the described effect, this is absolutely fantastic and worth testing.

When I was in really young I got a body mist of Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden and I thought, after so many years, I can finally smell tea and citrus notes without being reminded of being a repressed lesbian in a small village school but no. The scent is nice enough and I am slowly learning to like it but if you went into green tea perfumes at the ripe age of 12 be careful, because that's all you gonna smell for a long time before you even get to the jasmin. Can't say I love it, the jasmin isn't strong enough for me, but perhaps if layered with some jasmin essential oil of maybe lust from lush it could create a jasmin tea rather than tea with some jasmin notes here and there It's a nice, clean and fresh smell, you probably won't offend anyone wearing this, but no one (except a creepy guy on a train) will want to sniff you either

Oh, My! This smells as if you have a big glass of strong Jasmine tea with a touch of lemon in it. There's just a little sweetness that eliminates any tea bitterness, just the way I like iced tea to drink and in my perfumes. It's very refreshing, yet very calm too. I like it a lot, but don't know if I'll purchase a bottle simply because I have other tea scents I like just as much and need to use up. But if I didn't have any, or only a few, this would be a definite buy. For those who find the citrus too much in EA's Green Tea, give this a try. It is much easier on that note. Edited: The longer I have this on the more it reminds me of Still by Jennifer Lopez. I think that might be a good, cheaper alternative.

Beautiful fragrance on its own, but it unfortunately smells like cheap deodorant, and acrid sweat on me. Standalone, Jasmin Perle De The is a light, green, citrussy, tea scent. The tea takes a back seat, letting the green, and lemon notes take centre stage initially, but the green tea aroma does shine through over time. I never really got any jasmine notes from this one, so you may need to layer it with another jasmine fragrance if you're specifically looking for a /jasmine/ green tea scent. Lastly, I want to emphasise that this scent is very /light/. So you will either need to have a preference for this, or be prepared to reapply often.

Another bargain I got through serious hassle, so couldn`t wait to test as Tilleul Cedrat already impressed me I had to try more of Fragonard`s Garden. I can get all notes in their own time, but the tea is the most dominant. As time passes this switches to the jasmine and the fragrance lasts and lasts..for hours! It`s a typical sunny fragrance as the heat would bring out this fragrance`s full potential I`d imagine. A sunny and happy day sightseeing somewhere or chilling in the garden. Nothing harsh about it just fresh, comforting green tea and jasmine. Pleasantly surprised!

First impressions: (hand cream) If you love tea, and you love a fresh jasmine this could be an easy spring perfume for you. As for me I’m trying to find my signature perfume, and I do feel like it’s leaning on the motherly side like I could see an older woman wearing this, and it’s a dumb reach. Would I repurchase this no, but I think this is very calming to me that it’s perfect as a bed time scent. Edit 1: The scent is a bit too soft and safe for me. The honeysuckle really stands out here, and reminds me of 90’s perfumes.

A citrusy opening, with a soft lemon - not sharp or aggressive. It's joined by jasmine, green tea, and a generous dose of honeysuckle, which enhances the green, vegetal facet of the composition. This is a fresh and delicate fragrance, perhaps a bit too much for me, as I tend to prefer bolder scents. That said, the scent itself is pleasant, and I caught myself sniffing my wrist multiple times. Jasmin Perle de Thé exudes serenity and will surely appeal to lovers of soft, refreshing fragrances. She's sipping on a glass of iced jasmine green tea whilst tending to her garden of lush white florals and citrus trees. A perfect everyday Springtime scent! Fragonard is quickly becoming one of my favourite niche houses. Their fragrances are always so well-blended and natural, whilst being relatively affordable. What's not to love?

Just looking at the name and not the notes, I thought I would get Jasmine green tea scent. This is not it. There’s prominent citrus note in the opening. This is citrus jasmine green tea, I would say. But I think it works wonderfully. It’s not screechy or grassy. It’s very pleasant. It’s interesting, unique. Over time, the citrus takes a back seat but still playing a supporting role. I quite like it.

I love this so much! It's my favorite tea fragrance, although wulong cha is a very close second. Tea is the strongest scent, and is very green. The thuja may be contributing to the greenness but it's not discernible as a separate note. The only notes I really get from this are jasmine green tea with lemon, exactly like a hot cup of tea. The other notes are supporting players.

sooo easy to wear and delightful. as someone who finds florals usually obnoxious, this is the perfect hint of jasmine to an otherwise mellow and almost idk... umami (?) tea scent. smelling it is about halfway to drinking a lovely cup of it. and great value too, which is necessary since youll have to repeat-douse yourself with how short it lasts.

Bright, sunny, jasmine floral with a hint of tea. Very elegant and classy, leans definitely feminine. Natural, smooth, well blended. Lovely fragrance. Not for me as it leans too feminine, but I'd enjoy it on a woman. Jasmine may be common but the hint of tea gives this some personality. Like to love. Scent: 7.5 / Sillage: 7 / Longevity: 7

Very refreshing and pleasant green tea perfume, not overpowering or cloying, so ideal for wearing to the office. Like many Fragonards, I find I have to reapply it every couple of hours or it disappears. I like it for daytime wear in the winter or early spring, but it could be worn at any time.

Beautiful bright green jasmine tea scent. You really get the impression you've spilled your tea on yourself, it's that accurate of a scent. It's really lovely. Perfect for summer... I'm currently wearing it at 32°C (89,6°F) and it feels great.

The most realistic hot jasmine tea I've ever tried in a fragrance. You spray it and it's all you would smell in the opening. Gradually the wood and the lemon make their subtle appearance. Fragrant, slightly bitter, comforting. 9/10 :)

a good replacement for l'Occitane's 'the vert au jasmin', if you are missing that scent. with better longevity, to boot. very refreshing.

Jasmin Perle de Thé took me by surprise! When first sprayed I get this sweetness almost like a lemon candy. For a couple of minutes it reminds me of a nice conditioner. Then it dries down to a fresh floral, and the jasmin and honeysuckle shines on the green tea leaves. It’s so natural and unique, and it’s sooo good! This is perfect for the hottest of summer days, it’s fresh, flowery and bubly.

Review of the new gold parfum, not the EDP: The opening jasmine, after a strong whiff of alcohol, is quite soapy. Not a pure or sweet scent. Awaiting further developments. EDIT: After about ten minutes, the soapiness recedes a lot. I can also smell the slight bitter edge of the tea. EDIT: All in all... mid. Not worth the price.

Perfect everyday freshie for summer, citrusy slightly bitter green tea with jasmine. Not very long lasting on my skin but is inexpensive n I don't really expect this kind of scent to last me all day. On clothes was still detectable next day though. The box n bottle are really nice, pretty artwork, ideal gift.

A very joyful, floral-sweet green tea. This actually made me smile. The scent of the green tea leaves is rendered so incredibly realistically: I can smell the damp greenness, and the almost sea-weedy marine quality of the steeped leaves, yet there is so much freshness from the jasmine and honeysuckle nectar. The pleasant bitterness of the green tea meets a polite amount of indole from the florals (think baby's breath), keeping this from being another cliched, clean, citrus white-floral. The reviewer before me nailed this: it is a photorealistic steaming hot cup of jasmine tea in a garden. I could never quite make Tommy Girl work for me -- there was a sour-fruity something (green apple, maybe?) that spoiled it in the opening even before a murky bitterness crept into the drydown (I've read that TG is prone to spoiling -- perhaps my bottle was off), but Jasmin Perle de The is a superior gentle but tenacious floral green-tea. (Personally, I like this kind of scent profile much more in a candle or room spray, but it is an excellent fragrance!)

Jasmine Pearl Tea This is an herbal green chypre with a strong tea scent. It smells comforting soothing and provincial like I've been living so long in the South of France even though I was born in New York that now I smell of all the aromatic scents that surround the area: rosemary, woods, thuja, lavender, scents like that. Jasmine Pearl Tea is a jasmine fragrance but it's, beautifully multi dimensional. The tea note stands out and it's warm and green, herbal, aromatic. The citric opening is reminiscent of lemon and verbena which is also a flavor for tea. The honeysuckle in the heart is also very nice. The dry down is woodsy and amber. It's not for everyone you have to be familiar with Fragonard which use up real extracts and ingredients and ends up smelling more oily than perfumy. This is also great air freshner and good as an interior home fragrance. Absolutely suited to cold winter months because of it's warmth. Soothing, relaxing and peaceful.

I LOVE this scent. So soothing, sophisticated and special. As a tea lover, I had a feeling I'd love this. It is not too far off from the common 'tea' fragrance profile, but superbly blended. The problem—it might possibly be the worst performing fragrance I've ever tried. I generally prefer lighter scents, so this is saying something. I had a single-use tester from Fragonard sent with a recent order (they send samples in these nice little sachets—just enough for a generous application). I applied it lavishly right before heading off to work and it vanished completely by the time I got there. I've had rosewater last longer lol. If I come across an actual tester bottle (the bottle is super cute), I'l definitely try it again in the proper format to see if I have better luck.

As many reviewers have stated before: it's truly a mix of two components, jasmin and green tea, both in their very best, sophisticated form. It's a light, very feminine, elegant scent. Certainly wonderful for spring, and probably for other seasons, too, in the daytime. Sweet, but with a herbal balance to it at the same time. Very good longevity! On my clothes, it lasts for more than a day. All the Fragonard perfumes are characterized by a distinct authenticity of their ingredients: the notes smell natural, and often it's a whole new dimension compared to the chemical blends served by many designer brands, at double or triple the prize.

I just got this and like to have lost my fuzzy little mind over just the box it came in. Then, the bottle! So happy! I just sprayed this on myself and my eyes rolled back in my head. Ya'll. I'm in love. I don't care how long it does or doesn't last. I will cart this around everywhere I go. In the middle of a pandemic, this is a much needed hit of happy. My nose isn't well trained, but I get the main Jasmine and tea, and I love it. I'm going to have to set it on the other side of the vanity so I won't use it all in one day.

A scent profile that I didn’t think I needed but apparently needed in my life. What is it with tea scents? They are mysteriously comforting and satisfying, and this is no exception. It’s a hint of jasmine tea with a bitter green tea scent in the background, balanced with juicy citrus notes and florals. My Chinese friends described it as a hotel scent, but I think it smells like a very realistic jasmine tea. I keep reaching for this and will love it more in the summer.
