Mademoiselle Fragonard Paris

Mademoiselle paris to me is fresh, clean, and sparkling. I get a hearty dose of white florals. The strongest would be neroli and orange blossom, with jasmine being a little softer coming up on the rear. Magnolia isn't super noticeable. The mandarin and peach are noticeable but not as strong as the flowers, it is well balanced in the fruity floral department. The peach is a bit stronger than the mandarin probably because it's in dry down. The fruits do not smell like candy to my nose, this is no Love by Kilian or a peach candy. I like wearing this one on days where I have to give speeches, presentations, or go for interviews. I like wearing this one when I expect to focus because it's not something I would typically wear.

Delightful! On me, it's quite spicy. Would that be the orange? I don't get any peach. It's a spicy-floral with moderate longevity. Reminds me of something by Serge Lutens, though I can't put my finger on it. The packaging is very appealing, too.

Just a little addendum. The initial (3-5minute) blast is very plasticky, like Yuck! plasticky. But after that, it settles in for a soft, white floral ride. Very nice, but that initial blast was shocking! All is good!

Not many have heard of Mademoiselle Fragonard Paris and for years it has been one of my best kept secrets. I wear it most often during Spring as on my skin it warms into a beautiful, laundry-fresh white floral. The dominant notes to my nose include, orange blossom, magnolia, jasmine, peach and white musk. It's a very bright, happy blend of floral notes with a clean, crisp vibe which is not unlike freshly washed linen blowing in the breeze. The composition has a subtle hint of sweetness which is more natural than saccharine-sweet. Mademoiselle Fragonard Paris also has excellent projection and the potential to become cloying if over-applied. Unfortunately the longevity is not as wonderful as its sillage, lasting around five hours on my skin before dissipating into a soft, airy sandalwood and musk scent. I have only ever seen this fragrance sold in one boutique, as most perfume stores that carry Fragonard don't always stock this one. The packaging for this fragrance is also very quaint with the bottle encased in an intricately designed make-up bag with a matching compact mirror. I happened to blind buy Mademoiselle Fragonard Paris from an Ebay seller 3 years ago and would gladly re-purchase again if given the chance.
