Patchouli Gourmand

I'm not usually into gourmand fragrances... especially ones with chocolate or cocoa notes in the composition. I just can't stand chocolate in a fragrance but this is absolute heaven in a bottle. The performance, projection & sillage is next level but this is to be expected with such an expensive fragrance. I will admit, the $390+tax, shipping, tariff fees etc, really had me hesitant but once I got my nose on this gem, I was completely satisfied. There's a sweet but spicy aspect to this fragrance that has me coming back for more. It's got just the right amount of citrus that blends well with the smooth vanilla, tonka & sandalwood. Gourmand lovers are going to be in heaven with this one. Can't say it reminds me of anything I've ever smelled before & that's another thing i love about this one. It's unique but to no surprise, once again FDB knocks it out of the park! I LOVE THIS HOUSE!

Patchouli Gourmand is a beautiful fragrance, instant love. From the notes I imagined it’d be somewhat similar to Crush on Me by Unique’e Luxury but it’s not, the citrus’ aren’t overpowering. It’s so well blended, there’s sweetness and spiciness. I love patchouli too so this one was instant love, plus it performs really well too. As a woman that wears more unisex/ masculine leaning fragrances I am genuinely impressed. I will be purchasing a full bottle soon as a birthday treat.

Love this! I don’t think it’s leaning masculine but actually unisex. It reminds me of Jovoy Psychedelique

I’m not a fan of earthy patchouli’s and I tread lightly when there is a patchouli forward fragrance. However, this one is done so well. It’s smooth and sweet. True gourmand facets come from the vanilla and cocoa and it’s not overpowering. There is a brightness in the opening surely due to the mandarin and the lemon. The citrus notes are very subtle. If you have tried Krigler’s Lovely Patchouli and you like it...you will definitely enjoy this fragrance. Patchouli Gourmand is smoother and more subtle. It’s also very different from Guerlain’s Patchouli Paris. PP is more earthy and sharp. This one is so smooth and balanced.

I have nothing nor have I tried anything from this house....I’m quite intrigued 👀✨
