Fragrance Du Bois plonked a straight banger on the table with this one. Simple summary - an addictive fruit cocktail. This scent had me fully won over within the moment I first smelt it. It’s citrusy sweet, but not zingy and typically fresh. More fruity, with this really prominent minty pineapple aroma. It’s as if you’ve gathered a bunch of tropical fruits in your bare hands and crushed in a sprig of mint leaf, exploding the juices upwards and into your nose. There’s a youthful charm about it. As if the scent wears this jacket of cool, calm and collected beauty that then draws you in with this addictive sweetness when it slowly unzips. Definitely a crowd pleasing scent, but it perfectly balances this addictive reachability with a sense of luxury. As if the directors told the perfumer to make something that would appeal to the masses and sell bottles whilst retaining class and that elite level of luxury perfumery that I subconsciously associate with the brand. I get a slight Pacific Chill vibe, and it’s definitely in line with that sort of scent. I think it must be that peachy mint nuance that are shared across both, but this is better (and cheaper). Fresh, fruity yet addictive and charming. I’ve got my nose glued to my tester strip. It’s beautiful. P.S Compared to the insanity this brand is charging for other perfumes in its wardrobe, I picked up my 50ml at retail for just over £200. If we’re talking niche prices at retail, I would say Tropiques is really quite decent. This gorgeous, special-occasion fruit cocktail in a room-filling Parfum with arguably the most enjoyable and luxurious unboxing experience for a straight £200? Well done Fragrance Du Bois! This is heat.

Smelt this in Selfridges yesterday, first impressions are it's a very unisex fruity herbal scent. The lavender is very prominent, but I wouldn't have recognised it as lavender - it reads fresh and herbal, slightly green, more like basil perhaps. Its not a note I usually like (often in more masculine leaning frags which isn't my thing), but is done well here, adds freshness and uniqueness to the scent. I get lots of pineapple, I had a spritz on a blotter but also a few sprays on my t-shirt, and the fruity vibes were wafting for a few hours afterwards. To me this doesn't smell like anything else I've smelt, I think comparisons to Erba Pura are lazy as there is minimal noticeable musk here, and the fruity aspects are much cleaner. This is a tempting one for me to buy so may well be my first from FdB. UPDATE: I sought out Neon by Thomas Kosmala after seeing so many votes that they are similar, and they smell >95% the same! Must admit I can't bring myself to shell out upwards of £250 now on this when Neon is so much cheaper.

Just read a review that actually said this smells IDENTICAL to Blue Talisman in the dry down lol.... and that is why you should never take any reviews on this platform seriously until you have smelt things for yourself. Get samples and make your own judgement because whoever wrote that review, does not have a clue about fragrances or their nose is broken. I have 2 bottles of this because I almost finished my first bottle within one summer in 2025, its that good. I had to get a backup bottle. This smells nothing like Blue talisman, that is a pear-dominated feminine scent that turns into a sour, harsh musk bomb when it dries. Tropiques is silky smooth, exotic, perfectly unisex and has the most amazing rose note to support the fruits so that it never becomes too sweet, cloying or syrupy. Its very light and airy, and the musk is soft & clean, not harsh and annoying. Tropiques - masterpiece Blue Talisman - Overrated garbage

A wonderful, tropical , fruity-sweet scent. This one really surprised me, as I barely liked anything else of the Bois line of scents and generally am very picky, especially when it comes down to fruity Niche scents. So many times they get it wrong; too much magnolia or another annoying floral. Too little sweetness, too green etc. Not here; the main fruit I get is Pineapple and it's lush, so sweet and sparkling at the top here. There's the most natural deft mandarin in the background too and the subtle bergamot just pushes everything along so nicely. I do get some violets later but it's very watery, subtle and tempered by a very faint jammy rose that are more swept away by the syrupy fruits. Nothing is overdone or underdone, it's rich fruity and naturally sweet in a way that Erba Pura (even Erba Gold) simply couldn't. I really do think it's a much needed , 'safe' and fruity Classic in the Niche genre. My rating: 9/10.

I blind bought this and wow, this is exactly what I’ve been wanting from a tropical fragrance. I love that sweet mandarin orange opening, perfectly complemented by a tart green mango that immediately hits my nose. After a couple of minutes, I also pick up some guava and pineapple. And as it dries down, the florals begin to come through. I get more rose than any other floral listed, but it's more of a supporting character, rather than becoming a full blown rose fragrance. The amber and musk then bring everything together beautifully. This is a gorgeous fragrance that absolutely blows away any other fruity tropical fragrance I’ve tried to so far. It smells nothing like Erba Pura or Amber Oud Gold. Those come off screechy and annoying, this one is anything but. Overall, I absolutely love this and I would buy it again once my full bottle runs out. Well done FdB ! Scent: 10/10

So this needs to be higher than a 3.82 I jist got .y bottle first wear for me its a 4.75 this thing is airy and tropical and fun, and shouldn't fragrances be fun, . Shouldn't they make you smile and open up conversations with co-workers and other people you may meet. Some one in the comments says its a tropical blie talisman that is correct, but it's also similar to greenly the way greenly smells like apple shampoo this smells like tropical shampoo, its also like a toned down less in your face isla Blanca by Ramon monegal, if you like blie talisman but aren't in love with the pear and powder smell, and want more of a bright Pina kolada, thats not over bearing but is present, this is for you if price is keeping you away I got mine from olfactory factory for 205 shipped. Hope this review helps someone.

Not even close to erba pura dna at all.... no similarities, none. Okay but this fragrance is amazing, it's tropical and soapy the soapiness of this fragrance makes it so good actually I hate to use the word shower gel but this is soapy shower gel that's tropical fruit scented. White florals aren't listed but there's quite a lot of white florals in this, I had to research what mahorial is and turns out that's supposed to smell like lillys and that's exactly the white floral smell I get. So lots of mahorial making this very soapy and lots of tropical fruits, the musk is there but this is more fresh than it is sweet. And I hated erba pura because it's too peppery and synthetic, too sharp on the note and this definitely doesn't give me that ick like erba pura does.

Anyone who doesn't like this needs their snot locker checked. This stuff is breathtaking! The flawless summer fragrance & another grand slam for FDB. Those who compare this to Erba Pura are rookies & really need to get out more often. This blows Erba Pura out of the water. In fact, I disliked Erba... way too much going on. With this, you get heaven in a bottle. I wish I could describe what's going on here but I can't put my finger on it. I get this musky pineapple & amber that makes my eyes roll in the back of my head. The performance is next level. Fragrance lasts all day on my clothes. Do yourself a huge favor & get your snotbox on this asap! Don't judge it right away. Give it time to blossom. You can thank me later!

Following on from my rave-review a few days ago, I’ve since decided to pick up a full bottle and I am over the moon with this stuff. This is FKIN INCREDIBLE 😂 Blows every other tropical fragrance I have tried out of the water. I own Porthole, summer hammer, Pacific Chill, etc... but Tropiques is the new King 🔥 It has the best parts of other fruity scents all wrapped into one bottle. The performance of Erba Pura, the smoothness of Pacific chill, the tropical vacation vibe of Porthole, yet it has more character than them all. The rose note really sets this apart and gives it a feeling of luxury and takes away any ‘juvenile’ feeling that it might otherwise have due to all the fruits. 10/10 !

I think the crowd is tired of so many tropic scents releases during 2023-2024 that they immediately "judge the book by the cover" on this one based on the notes and the name alone. Tropique is an incredible tropical scent, the fruits are not overripen, but are just fresh and it give such a happy vibe. I think it's impossible to be in a bad mood when wearing this. Perfume can be seen as an aromatherapy and this one definitely filles the bill for it. Perhaps cheaper than the therapist session as well :). Definitely get your nose on it. I can't imagine people not liking the scent if you remove your preconception of Erba Pura.

I agree with sw1707, This smells nothing like Blue Talisman and if it did, I wouldn't have just bought myself a bottle! I absolutely hate Blue Talisman and because of seeing the comments here saying that these fragrances smell alike, I never wanted to buy a sample to test out, Luckily I came across a fragrance store that had Tropiques and I got to test it out...I ended up loving it! This is a really nice juicy tropical scent that leans masculine, It's what I was hoping New Eden would smell like. I'm very picky with these tropical/fruity fragrances and I really like this one.

I wore this in a free sample I got and it did not disappoint. I got picked up by a taxi and the lady asked what I was wearing, I then went for an appointment and the lady there said the whole building smelt incredible because of me, and then I went to the supermarket and another lady said she wanted to get it for her husband. If you want compliments, I don’t know what’s better.

This is an extremely nice tropical fragrance; to me, this is kind of a crossover of Blue Talisman and Pacific Chill without the minty note to some extent. This fragrance projects great, is absolutely lovely, i honestly don't know how this doesnt get that much attention online - absolute banger.

super sexy pineapple with loads of musk and lavander. Once it dries down it is pretty much sweet musk with some bitter lavender. head turner. The minute i tried it, i instantly knew i needed it. Super amazing longevity, can't get enough of it, perfect date night scent

This fragrance is just something else, I love it to bits. Going to be switching between tropiques and imagination all summer. It lasts so long can even smell it the next day and the scent is unreal. Projects nicely also. 10/10 for me so glad I bought this fragrance.

Just smelled it for the first time a couple of days ago and I instantly fell in love with it. To me it smells like a more fruity and less soapy version of blue tahlisman, this is a really pleasant smell just to expensive in my opinion

The best fruity fresh tropical scent thats genuinely unisex dare i say masculine leaning.It smells like a tropical drink literally diffused in the air but in a better more perfumed way! 10/10

That tropical scent made me crazy. Even though the base scents with amber & musk not my style to be honest, I bought it because the sweet-fruity was really good.

I think the negative reviews are just from people who want to gatekeep this masterpiece so people don't buy it and overhype it haha

Okay this is incredible!! Kinda reminds me of a less zesty citrusy and more tropical fruity Forever Love - Pana Dora

Blue Talisman, just a tropical one. Retail is definitely a no, never in a million years

I see the blue talisman comparisons... more so on the dry down though.

3rd bottle from fragrance du bois - so far I am really impressed with their offerings. Lucius, solstis and now this. Tropiques is probably my least favorite of the three, but still an above average scent. It definitely has that same note combo that the above scents have - I guess that’s their thing. This amps up the sweetness - yes, fruity - but almost an ambery/fruity type combo. The fruit is the heaviest note in this scent. Oddly, I kind of think this feels a bit too heavy to wear in warm weather. Just seems like it could be very cloying. For some reason it reminds me of PDM Kalan - which I really liked at first, but soured on pretty quickly. Anyway - not sure why I’m rambling. Really solid unisex scent - but my least favorite of the three I have.

walked into selfridges and was handed a tester strip and it immediate gorgeous impression on first sniff. fruity and green but in a grown up and sophisticated way. dries a bit leaning masculine as it has a solid base, something musky (but not in a musk stink way, i usually do not like musks) or something of an in between a powdery/smokey nature that's cut through with some green (the basil likely). beautiful scent, would be stunning on men and equally on a women. honestly if I smelt this on someone, i would bite them

This evokes late teens/early 20s premixed alcopops in summer for me. It’s tropical fruits, lily and citrus on me. This is the first FdB I’ve tried and I’m surprised it’s not louder. It’s quietly sustained for a couple of hours but I expected more of a ‘HELLO I’M HERE AND I’M £295’ blast from it. I like this but I seriously doubt I would venture past a decant to a full bottle. Edit: I’m wearing this today in 30 degree Palma heat and it performs marginally better but not enough to justify the price.

I'm glad that I sampled this. It's a pretty perfume, but it's very overpriced for the juice. Smells very similar to many other fruity perfumes which cost a lot less. It's also NOT a good sign that they don't disclose the name of the perfumer- it suggests that it's a very freshman perfumer but put the price tag on it like it was Alberto Morillas or something!

Instantly appealing tropical fruity scent. I can't really say more. Gentle floral amber support and musk. I do like a tropical fragrance as well but I like to go 'oooh Guava!' or Mango or whatever? Perhaps a clever combination with something unexpected like earthy accords or anything to elevate or create interest. This doesn't have the interest for me, but it's pleasant and although I'm largely saying the idea is a bit 'meh' it doesn't smell cheap, it's refined and long lasting so I guess if you really must then pay the FdB prices if you really want to? which I never looked at because I wasn't interested but I'm sure are reasonable....Naaaaht!!

Wow I absolutely agree with infinitestarla below, I couldn’t have worded it better myself! There’s indeed a green lavender/basil (I wouldn’t have been able to say it was lavender - it smells like men’s shaving cream to me 😊). And indeed, not every fruity perfume is erba pura guys! For those of us who don’t like erba pura (me unfortunately), it does not have that screechy musk at all, not even close. I won’t be getting it because it smells to masculine for me (I am a girly girl). Oud jaune intense should have been named tropiques and remains my summer favorite.

Fruity and kind of nice, but not something I would expect in 2026. Smells outdated, with some classical vibe (due to sone more masculine notes which are turning this perfume into a unisex) instead of bright juicy fruity domination. Not overly impressed, the hype must be partially because it is an expensive well-known niche brand. Though performance is good.

i mean i like it just i feel there are better tropical fragrances that cost way less still a masterpiece thats high quality and blended well just overall redundant asf when theres alot of other niches like it

I tried to love this as several people I know RAVED about it but it sadly was not for me. There was just something in the fragrance I couldn't get along with but I can't quite put my finger on what. I'm not sure if I found the fruit too synthetic or if it clashed with the florals or if the musk just hit too hard on me. I found it to be quite masculine on my skin and it smelt cloying. I suspect if I wore it for a long time it would give me a headache. I only had a decant which I happily traded to someone who would appreciate it more and who hit me up with some cherry fragrances that were more to my taste.

Smells very cheap for my nose. From the start we are greeted with "tropical" punch, but this accord feels lazy, uninspired, smells like it's mostly made of premade black currant base. Later lots of ambroxan start to reveal and alongside "caramel" (ethyl maltol) it basically becomes fruity BR540 and Blue Talisman amalgam. Yuck.

I agree with the below comment, anyone that thinks that this smells like Erba Pura needs their nose checking. It’s a lovely musky pineapple, almost sangria type scent.

It doesn’t smell like Erba Pura but it has the same stinky sweaty musk/ambroxan /amberwood base. If you are sensitive to that note than this is not for you.

Wow. This was love at first sniff. Now it gets better as that love grows with every usage. I personally love this perfume. Not beastly not shouting but very present and you can feel the superior quality of the perfume and its ingredients. Its a sweet perfume. Not gourmandy sweetness, not cloying but easy to embrace and long for. I'm not at all looking forward to this bottle finishing(I love it that much). It was my first bottle of the FDB line now I have 9 bottles of other titles that are some lovely but some with very weak performance and very vexing This is 15/10

My thoughts, fresh and uplifting tropical floral. Zesty citrus, juicy papaya in the opening, with the lavendar and other fresh florals very prominent. Don't be scared of the caramel note in the bottom, this isn't super sweet. This is very fresh and photorealistic. Imagine standing in a flower field with an icy cold drink of citrus and papaya. Very unique and pretty imo. Most tropical fragrances are mango or pineapple or very sweet florals like tiare, and they're super sunscreeny and overbearing. I've never seen a fresh tropical fragrance like this one.

The fruit melange I’m mainly getting is pear, melon and strawberry? Fragrantica classifies this as an oriental vanilla fragrance, but I’d disagree with that vehemently. It’s not spicy and there’s no vanilla in this. It’s not overly sweet which I was worried about. The lavender is the key player in this, preventing it from getting cloying. It does lean more on the unisex side due to the fruits/florals but it’s pleasant overall.

Oh My God. This perfume is simply a masterpiece. This is what erba pura tried to do. This is so incredibly realistic with the tropical fruits and musks with the slight hint of florals. Very unisex fragrances. Longevity is insane and projection is amazing. Yeah it’s expensive. But I rarely say this. Worth every penny. 10/10

Was so excited for this, but it's just another copy of Erba Pura. So sad because I was expecting a beautiful sweet, juice and tropical fragrance with an amber base, but i'm just getting fancy bug spray. Longevity is great though, however I don't like Erba Pura and I don't like this.

Smelt this in a Selfridges , and it's amazing. 2 sprays on my wrist at around 12pm, could still smell it almost 10 hours later. Was given a sample , can't wait to try a full wear of this. It's genuinely a stunning fragrance

This is very nice but if you own Blue Talisman, you don't need it...they basically do the same thing. I personally, don't believe there's enough of a difference to not make them redundant to own.

Smells good on the dry down. In the opening I get tuberose all though I don't see it listed on here.

Personally reminds me of erba pura. Erba pura gives me headaches but this one is just gorgeous.
