Brown Sugar Artisan Perfumery

Thank god for this fragrance! I smelled Bohoboco's Red Wine and Brown Sugar so many times in duty free shops, and it has done some irreversible changes in my brain, so I started saving up for the bottle and then this appeared in recommended - it's very, very similar, more earthy than silky, dry red wine smell. Nothing sweet about it. Like someone said before - it's an acquired taste, so many of my friends would hate it on themselves, but I am a corporate goth, so in the fall and winter I dress myself up in this wine smell from time to time. Definitely not an everyday perfume, I wake up and know it's the day to smell like it, and it is a must-have on my shelf for sure. Projection is okay, nothing crazy, very long lasting on skin and clothes though. Feels sexy, powerful, siren-like.

I've owned this for around 12 months now. At first sniff when it was a new bottle I wasn't getting all the notes BUT today I thought I'd dig it out and give it a go as I wanted something dark and strong for the colder weather...BOOM!!!!! This stuff is insane! Like actually the perfumery here is masterful. This juice can only be described as dark red wine and incense firebomb mixed with a gorgeous sweet caramel note. It really is a fragrance for this time of year leading from autumn into Christmas. It's sexy, mysterious, warm, comforting and photorealistic. I'm hooked.

This is the type of almost unusual perfume you need to acquire a taste(smell) for🤔when I first got it I found it very different and unique from anything I’ve ever smelt. Over the past month since getting it I’ve grown to almost love it... will definitely wear it more during the cool weather. A lot of people are intrigued by the strange cap on the bottle... it is actually a diffuser, you spray perfume all over it and it will absorb the frangrance👍🏼Very clever🤗

Severely underrated, got my bottle for $26 dollars!! Worth every penny and more. I prefer Brown sugar over bohoboco, it smells refined and well blended. Boho has a bit of a screechiness to it & less of the wine accord while in Brown sugar the wine note is more prominent & then you eventually start smelling a sexy type of rose it’s beautiful.

This perfume is delicious, it’s a strong red wine with notes of rose, white florals and powder, kind of like a lush bath bomb. It drys down as a slightly sweet cedarwood scent. Definitely an it girl scent. If you like dark nights, red lipstick and black clothing, this is a good pick.

This perfume suffers from misnomer. It has nothing to do with brown sugar. It's a dry, red wine scent. It smells like a distant cousin to Bloody Wood, but I love that the wine accord doesn't fade away in this one. I adore it, and I'm definitely getting a full bottle.

In the opening femenine rose But after 5 min comes the rose with a hint of amber and smoke more masculine. Very spécial not very easy to wear

This is one hell sexy perfume! This is seduction in its most beautiful form! This screams sex appeal and confidence. I love it 🥰

Interesting how polarizing this scent is - personally, I like it and don't find it offensive at all, although it's definitely on the strong side in terms of both performance and sillage. I smell realistic sour wine, raspberry jam, pine needles and lacquered cedar. Quite a lovely lineup, isn't it. There's also a slight mintiness to it, which I can't even tell the note origin of - but it definitely feels like something with menthol in it, down to a cold/tingly sensation in your nose. The wine and jam are most prominent for 1–2 hours after spraying, and when it settles on the skin, it becomes very piney. Hadn't it been a dupe, it would have been definitely a unique experience. But I'm happy it is one, actually - otherwise I probably wouldn't have tried the original, and I'm glad I have at least the FW version.

Blind buy. Used this perfume several times, right after opening the bottle. The longevity is insane, 6-8 hours easily. Never tried RWBS, but i'm definately related with this dna. On the 2-3 hours became more fruity but with boozy, red wine accord as the main one. Get couple compliments when i was standing in the bar. Definately more feminine, but i don't really care. All seasons, but night/date time scent for sure Very nice perfume in my opinion, BUT not for the blind buy. Check the OG before buying this bottle

this is a very spicy less sweet than expected perfume that eventually dries down into an almost overwhelming wine scent, but not in the sense of smelling like a drunk. I would definitely sample it if possible, blind buying this would not be a safe option.

to me smells like self sufficient woman in her 30s. part time academic, part time alcoholic, full time #girlboss. definitely owns a black cat. serious scent, maybe mature but in an "old soul" way, not in "vintage" or "old school" way.

Nose Note #331 The rating on this one is a joke. This is some fantastic perfumery. It translates a very good impression of the smell of wine. The color of the juice is a pretty shade of pink+magenta. Solid performer. I have no issues with this one whatsoever. Everything about it is just top notch. BUT. Just mind this - I don't think Bohoboco or Fragrace World cloning it had the slightest intention to make a crowdpleaser. This is a perfume for special occasion. There is the world of crowdpleasers, and then there is the world of fragrances like this. It's not "weird, art house, super-niche". It's refined, sophisticated, but just not for every day. The smell: - wine (hence a little sour), some earthy touches, a little rosey, a little sweet (not caramel-like). Strong, but not headache-inducing. At least for me. I really don't understand the bottommost rating of 3.24.

Very Feminine but just on the line of unisex. Certain men can pull this off. More florals and stale red wine than brown sugar. It was a blind buy fail for me. I keep it in my rotation but I don't actively search for it. Its more like "well I did pay money for this so I might as well get my money's worth" kinda obligation.

I think "Mulled Wine" would be a much better name for this. It's not unpleasant but it's a little too realistic, I don't want to smell like I spilled wine all over myself.

Indeed getting wine in the opening. However, to me it fades to mostly a rose scent on the dry down. I wish the wine was more prominent throughout.

Smells like laundry detergent, used it for two weeks to freshen up the room... Dissapointed because I thought is similar to brown sugar or sugary at least.

I will reassess this scent after some time sitting and macerating but I don't know if any amount of "chill time" can make this not disgusting!!! I must have blacked out on the base notes of this fragrance because I hate patchouli, I'm starting to find a lot of cedarwood smells cheap and like a hamster cage, and I rarely like a straight sugar note. This smells like that nasty perfume your least favorite aunt would douse herself in before every holiday that smelled like sour bug spray! It's offensively bad!

Smells like a luxury spa in Bali. That's all. And the waterfall is actually a winefall. There is an unexpected freshness almost like spearmint? Like you're chewing mint gum and take a swivel of red wine Initial spray is heavy alcohol for a few seconds then you're slapped with wine than that turns into a bitter yet sweet yet clean smell? It's good, and very intriguing, kind of gothic? Definitely cold weather wear. I became noseblind to this quickly but I can confirm it's still there despite that, I will say the bottle cap is giving me sensory issues tho, what is that?!??

I've had mine for almost two weeks, and it just sort of smells like play doh? Its odd, the smell is very weak and difficult to explain, but it's definitely not right. I'm hoping it will improve with time. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

Dry, dark red wine. That's it. There's no brown sugar to be found in this one. It's sour and earthy, and quite strong. Headache inducing for someone who isn't a massive fan of dry reds, but if that's your bag, perhaps one to try.
