CAFE N' CREAM

I've literally owned and worn dozens of coffee-centric perfumes. A lovely coffee note is one of my favorite perfume notes in contemporary fragrances. I love Mancera "Amore Cafe," which is very liquor-like and boozy because of the heavy amaretto note. Sometimes I long for a creamier, more lactonic coffee fragrance than Amore Cafe. For creamy-milky coffee, I adore Orientica "Cafe Arabica." But Cafe Arabica can cost over $160 USD x 100 ml bottle. Fragrance World "Cafe 'n Cream" is actually very nice! At its price point, you cannot beat the quality and performance of the fragrance. Like multiple coffee fragrances on the market, Cafe 'n Cream is a straight-forward, linear, creamy, coffee-centric perfume. The boozy amaretto accord is dialed way back, which is nice (especially if you know Amore Cafe). The coffee note is lactonic, smooth and creamy. I'm uncertain about what a fantasy biscuit, or speculoos note smells like. If biscuit is present, the note doesn't affect the perfume's intense creamy coffee appeal. Cafe 'n Cream is perfectly sweetened (brown sugar) right out of the gate. And performance is stellar! I applied Cafe 'n Cream around 1:00 am last night and I can still detect the fragrance on my clothing and skin at 10:00 am the following morning. My favorite "creamy" coffee fragrance is still Orientica "Cafe Arabica." At a lower price point, I love Cafe 'n Cream!

Trying another "coffee" fragrance to see if there's any COFFEE in it. I bought "Halloween Man X" and the mineral note was stronger than the coffee..it wound up being a "Woody" drydown. I tried "Khamrah-Qahwa"....all sugar, no coffee. I tried "Ajayeb Dubai" complete mess...no coffee. I tried "Eternal Coffee"...smelled good, but no power or projection. I tried samples of the "Kerosene - Follow" and "Kerosene - Followed" and they're both unwearable monstrosities. The only "Coffee" fragrance that has even come close to being "Coffee" has been "Khadlaj - Caffe Latte"...but that dries down to a woody fragrance. Hopefully...this fixes all the things wrong with the "Coffee" fragrance realm. UPDATE: Well, not the worst thing...but its an exact duplicate of "Caffe Latte" by Khadlaj. Luckily I needed a 3rd bottle anyhow. This will go in the closet and be ready in a year when I finish bottle #2 of "Caffe Latte".

Je l'ai acheté sur un coup de tête car il n'est pas très cher. Et depuis je ne le quitte plus. C'est drôle j'ai une collection de parfums incroyable, de niche, magnifiques, pour certains onéreux, et celui-ci est celui qui me vaut plus de compliments que tous les autres, quasiment chaque jour, c'est mystique. Il est sucré dans être écoeurant, le café est réaliste mais pas caticatural. Il sent comme une sorte de mélange entre la crème caramel et le café latte, mais dans une version parfaitement êquilibrée, maîtrisée, et subtile. Il se suffit largement à lui-même, mais si vous voulez tester un petit layering sympa, associez- le à sugar leather, ça tue ! L'accord reste quasi parfait, ça lui donne un petit supplément de profondeur avec la touche de cuir doux de sugar leather... Bref ce parfum est un banger !

Opens up strong creamy coffee, like a cappuccino with a double shot of coffee + a slight hint of amaretto. The amaretto isn't at the forefront of the scent but more of a supporting note in the background adding to the complexity of the scent. It reveals the vanilla cream/biscuits in the dry down, whilst still retaining that prominent coffee note. Makes you think of coffee/biscuits in a cafe. It really is gorgeous. My favourite coffee fragrance right now I think. For those who were disappointed with khamrah qahwa not having a strong in your face coffee note, I'd say that this is the one for you. Very unisex. Both genders can pull this off, it will work beautifully either way. The bottle/box are excellent aswell. Love the aesthetic. Fragrance World are really really good at what they do. 10/10.

Nose Note #764 I down vote the Tiramisu Coco just so people know that they're not exactly the same. To me this one is the best. There's something slightly annoying to me about T Coco, whereas here - it's just all good. The closest thing I've smelled to a coffee or a coffee toffee with liquor. Really cool, very gourmand. Yes it's with gourmands - i can't wear it daily. They all get overwhelming kind of. Or tiring. 8/10, great UPD I've had ups and downs with this DNA. I grew to like it a lot more. And since I've run out of Tiramisu Coco I'd say they are really similar. I would never wear this daily, but to have this DNA in a rotation is great. Really beautiful. I was also wearing this in high heat and loved it. But my wife said it was saffocating. Well, not for me it wasn't 8.5/10
