Eau de Soleil

Okay, so this is very interesting, and a bit different of what i was expecting. I have not smelled the Gucci one nor Atheeri, so i can't compare. Edit: smelled the Gucci and Atheeri. The Gucci is 99.9% similar. I'd say this is a liiiittle bit sweeter. Atheeri actually is a but different, but it is like 60% similar or so. It is less sweet, lacks the fruits. It's basically Soleil without the fruits, and less sweet I was expecting this to me fresher, fruitier, more of a "banana and pear perfume". Instead this turned out to be a floral-vanilla with fruity notes. It opens with (to my nose) a big burst of candied pear and some green banana peel. I don't perceive the pear as tart or acidic or fresh, as some other people did - t me it is sweet, sugary, candied pear, and it is the star of the show at first. The banana is almost unnoticeable. Some florals start peeking through. Then, the banana becomes more noticeable, and as i said it is green and not too sweet, but it is always a bit in the background. The florals start getting stronger. I can perceive some vague vanilla somewhere. The pear is still there. Then, the pear fades and goes in the background, without disappearing. The banana gets sweeter and very creamy, like a banana cream or a smoothie, and it is paired with strong florals. The vanilla starts to shine, it is a dark, syrupy, sweet, sugary vanilla. It reminds me of the vanilla in Burberry Goddess. At some point the fruits almost disappear, the banana is still there but it is very very mild. The florals and the vanilla (especially the vanilla) are the main notes. It starts to get a tiny bit powdery. In the drydown it becomes a powdery vanilla floral with some light sandalwood. So, this is a very sweet perfume, with some sweet fruit notes, but its main stars are dark sugary vanilla and flowers. I do get some ozonic notes, but to me they are extremely mild. Almost like some ocean air, even though there are no marine notes. In the drydown it almost has some sunscreeny notes. It kinda reminds me a bit of Margiela Beach Walk: a bit of sea and sand, and some sunscreen. Not to say this is a marine perfume, but there is *something* that reminds me of that. This feels extremely summery, like a holiday. It reminds me of clear skies, bright sunny days in the summer, going to the beach... It is fruity, it is floral, it is vanillic, it is sweet and also a bit seaside-like. An interesting combination. It is definitely a feminine perfume. It also has no middle Eastern feel at all, it smells like a typical Western designer perfume. Call me crazy but it has Chanel vibes. Performance wise, the projection is moderate but solid. So is the lasting power.

I have tried Gucci flora orchid and Atheeri by lattafa and Eau de soieil all by side and on skin and paper. On paper Atheeri smells more vanilla and deep. Gucci and eau de soleil smells very much the same on papper on skin is were they shine. Atheeri has more of a aquatic feel because of the passion flower and dew drop. The vanilla is also strong, Atheeri has amberwood in the base that makes it deeper. But to me that amberwood can ruin any scent because the drydown is important and it can go to dark and ”balsamic” with amberwood. The middle eastern feel. Gucci and eau de soleil has more of the same feel. I dont smell the banana note in them. But they both are light, airy. I can smell Jasmine for sure in both even though Gucci has not jasmin listed . The vanilla is light airy and feminin. I smell more of the orchid after the topnotes has disappeared. The base is vanilla linear. Its easy to like. To my nose Atheeri and Gucci are not that simular they have simular notes but goes in different directions Atheeri and eau de soleil is not that simular because Atheeri is more aquatic and eau de soleil is more ozonic like Gucci. Gucci is beautiful. Its a simple vanilla that is crowd pleasing. Eau de soleil is very very god and long lasting. Its perfect for summer. And the price is good. It has a beautiful linear vanilla. Its great Top, middle, base ❤️ Atheeri is good if you like the base which I dont.

I've had my heart set on Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Orchid for ages, but I felt that this scent profile does not justify the high price point. I could never pull the trigger, but I loved to spray it on when I visited the shops. Eau de Soleil is so affordable that I decided to blind buy. Worst case scenario I could use it as a gym scent and boy - I am over the moon! From the get go it is simply delicious. No need for maturation. I would go as far as to say it is better than Flora Gorgeous Orchid. It is a little bit sweeter and the sillage and longevity far exceeds that of FGO. It is sweet, uplifting and perfectly balanced. So so yummy and fun. I've received so many compliments wearing it, but most of all I have been enjoying it myself as I don't go nose-blind to it. I definitely recommend. It is perfect for spring and summer (and yes - the gym too).

I adore this! My favorite blind buy summer fragrance. It smells delicious bright, sweet but not gourmand sweet, mood lifting. It has the sweetness of the vanilla gives it that creamy pear/ banana and keep from being too fruity. It’s potent and project well while It stays fresh airy through the day. I can't stop smelling my wrist. Safe blind buy. I love it!!! The longevity is 6 Hours The projection is good I don’t have anything smell like this. This is the best banana perfume I smell on middle eastern so far! 10/10 from me ♥️

I love it! For me, it's happiness in a bottle! Similar to GFO and Atheeri, but this one is not ozonic, nor aquatic. This one is more like a sweet green banana. Also I detect no sandalwood at all which for me that's a plus, because I dislike sandalwood. Unfortunately it's very weak...you have to constantly spray it to smell it. Atheeri lasts and projects even more than the OG. But what can I say? Love it with all my heart 💛💛💛☀️☀️☀️
