Eau De Spice Extreme

Blend (5/5) In my opinion, Eau the Spice Extreme is one of the most balanced creations in the perfumery world. Interestingly, Eau the Spice Extreme manages to stay true to the Mark Victor lineage while being sugar-forward. Looking at the note pyramid above, I would say it is more sugary than vanilla. In comparison, Mark Victor offers shades of green that give it a classic, nostalgic feel that is true to traditional perfumery. Uniqueness (5/5) Eau the Spice deserves to have its own new theme in the world of perfumery: balmy, hot, and spicy. Perceived Quality (3/5) It's just okay. The opening doesn't have a spiciness that punches you in the nose, and the dry-down is also not heavy enough.

This is such a great cool weather fragrance. I can't believe how close this gets to SBE. I will admit the first 5 minutes after applying is not fantastic, but then it settles in. Performance and projection are above average on my skin. (8.5/10)

From a first impression, if you're after an exact clone / copy of Spicebomb Extreme, this isn't it. at most this is 55% accurate. anything below that and it would be more of an original fragrance. If you've owned Spicebomb extreme and are considering getting this, don't. It will upset you! I got these as gifts for family members, knowing very well how long these take to maturate. I have a real bottle of Spicebomb Extreme and I've used it for years so I'm not some shill on social media with a bad haircut who tried to overhype this for obvious rea$ons. He knows who he is. However, if this does improve I'll edit this in a month or two if I don't give this away as a gift. Right away, this is missing the caraway seeds (cumin). We're off to a good start. From the opening alone, no one is going to think you've sprayed spicebomb extreme on.I get some VERY faint amounts of rum, so much so that you almost miss it if you're not paying attention. After 5-10 minutes, this becomes a more relaxed version of the original Spicebomb EDT (2012). It's slightly smoother and the spices are reduced. I actually prefer the original to extreme so this isn't a bad thing. If you've never tried Spicebomb EDT. Givenchy Gentleman Absolute or Bvlgari Man In Black or Only You Black by New Brand Parfums. I think the only thing "accurate" about this is the presentation as they managed to get the color scheme right. at least this doesn't look like a cheap bottle of mouth wash like the original "mark and victor eau de spice". I've tried at least 8 to 10 fragrance world products and the only way to make them last is by over spraying them. Expect to put at least 10 sprays. Otherwise I doubt even if this fragrance aged (maturated) it'll ever be as beast mode as the original fragrance. the only people who will believe this smells like spicebomb extreme missed out on the original, as I'm sure plenty of people never tried it because their favorite influencer told them to just the extreme version. I say spend the bit of extra money and get spicebomb EDT instead, out of the box at least it has solid performance. As much as I like the scent, I'll rank this as a hate due to how inaccurate this is.

IMO this is a linear clone of the mid of Spicebomb Extreme, 1-hour into scent development of the OG. Spicebomb Extreme opens much sweeter before the mid -- too sweet for my taste, and frankly juvenile. FW Eau De Spice Extreme smells better IMO, and is also less sweet than even the mid of Spicebomb Extreme. It's still very accurate to the mid. Even so, Spicebomb Extreme DNA is uninteresting IMO. Spicebomb EDT is distinctly superior IMO, but is also very different. If you want a superior twist (keyword: twist) on Spicebomb Extreme while staying fairly close to that DNA, try Fragrance World Blazing (brighter Penhaligon's Blazing Mr Sam clone), Maison Alhambra Afro Leather (Memo Paris African Leather clone), Fragrance World Apex (darker Penhaligon's Blazing Mr Sam clone, and the closest to Spicebomb Extreme DNA in this list), Rayhaan Terra (Amouage Outlands clone, also fairly close to the Spicebomb Extreme DNA), Rayhaan Tiger (Penhaligon's Halfeti clone, smells like FW Apex with moderate incense added). They're listed in order of my personal preference, with Rayhaan Tiger being least preferred (and the only one I actually don't really like). I like all of the others though and I love Fragrance World Blazing. And FYI, Afro Leather needed 3-6 months maturation to smooth out.

For now my favorite winter scent....warm, sweet and spicey....lasts and projects very well....would buy again 100%
