Elysia Marshmallow

I've had marshmallow blush for 6 months and just got this. It's a creamier fluffier version in comparison but I don't know if it's closer to the original or not. I like it more because of the airiness and the creaminess. The only problem is that it's very weak but I hope it gets stronger as it sits without changing the scent profile. Still, it's cheap enough that one can shower in it even if it doesn't get stronger. Highly recommended. Update: I have changed my mind about this perfumes performance. I've realised that the paper I have tested this on, still projects this very soft dry down in the air even after 30 hours. It projects very far but delicate, not loud at all. It's very pretty and ideal. Next update! I just got a full bottle and spraying it around the house makes me really happy! I can't explain why! I'm in my 30s and been a fraghead for over 15 years. I wore Chanel coromandel today! What's happening?! 🤣😄

I was going to buy the Elysia vanilla and pink blush, and right before checking out, this just appeared on the sidebar. I thought i was hallucinating because I've never seen it prior to that, and i swapped the pink blush for this to try it out. Going side by side with YBM, this is genuinely so good in comparison. Its a beast mode version on my skin, lasting about 7 hours (which is great in this circumstance!) it has this beautiful, photorealistic strawberry raspberry fluffy cloud feeling to it, and ive seen others describe it almost as that nostalgic powder milkshake. The hint of musk balances the berries, and the ambroxan deepens and smoothes the hard edges of the strawberry you might get in YBM. I got around 4 compliments by my friends first time wearing it, it is really that edible. This is actually my best blind buy by far, and i cant wait to purchase another one

To put this in perspective, I have smelled this side by side with the real kayali marshmallow boujee and they are identical. Not similar, identical down to every minute scent detail. Ive now had 3 of my friends' girlfriends ask their boys to buy them this specific bottle not even knowing it was a clone because they all agreed it was fantastic. Personally, me and my friend (both male) wear it despite the femme notes, and have recieved nothing but good remarks. It lasts usually 6 hours, and projects about an arm length or less. I have no regrets, and am actively considering getting a backup bottle. For the $35 cad I got mine at, it was worth every penny.

I’ve loved all the Elysia fragrances I’ve tried so far, and I currently own three in my collection. I haven’t smelled Yum Boujee Marshmallow before, but I’ve read that this is an excellent dupe—and honestly, I adore it. It’s very photorealistic, and I can’t stop smelling my arm. It’s so delicious and feminine! The only downside is that it doesn’t seem to last for too long, but what can one expect for this price point?

Reminds me of OG Sabrina’s sweet tooth. The strawberry listed in the notes is coming with maceration. The longevity is way better than sweet tooth which is a win for me as I loved the scent but was unimpressed with its lasting power. A very good buy for anyone who likes marshmallow scents!

I’ve never received as many compliments on a perfume as I have with this one. People literally turn their heads and spontaneously say, “Wow, who smells so good?” Then they start sniffing around... and end up realizing it’s me! 🤭🩷

Very nice! Nothing amazing, out of the 500 YBM dupes, I researched the hell out of here and on the YT. I knew for sure I was sick of strawberry! So that, the price and the raspberry note, instead of another flipping 🍓 at th end of the day was why I chose this YBM dupe for spring/summer! I have have had one day with it, and I’m quite happy. This wil be fun to layer with. For what it is? $25 of marshmallow? I’m satisfied. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a sweet marshmallow perfume it succeeded with giving marshmallow! I don’t hate the bottles? Though they’re not my favorite, I think they’re cute!! The sprayer felt a bit wonky at first? But hopefully that was user error? 🤪 is it a beast mode etc performer ? I always go by what’s in base notes? It’s a decent projection from a few ft and it lasted like 4 hrs.. not bad but I need to wear it more. These would also make great gifts for a young /teen girl for first perfumes. I will definitely be buying from them again! It would also be nice if they made the wedding velvet one?! That’s the one I currently want (as it’s as dupe for nirvana black,so I heard) ) **Side note about the banana one. I wanted that as well! But it didn’t have the rosemary note of the original fragrance? And I love the uniqueness of that... so off I went to DUA, it should be arriving soon and after I smelled DUAS Celeste?? Ugh ohhh boy 😅 I don’t have much hope. I’ve only had my nose on Dua twice:( the Lancôme dupe tje lavender vanilla gourmand leaning one (lavende something forgot name) boring and not worth what they charged and it wasn’t gourmand leaning? bummer. Then I chose Dua dupe of Celeste (Di Toscana) over a smaller decant. I should have chose the travel size or sample size rather than this dupe! I had heard the opening was ethereal and the dry down was Bianco Latte.... Nope. The marine note was salty but not in a natural oceanic way, the raspberry was on barely there or it didn’t mix with the marine note? I was not getting what the girls were who had the OG!? Then a bit of violet came but it was still kinda salty and bitter throughout the whole thing! It never sweetened up!!? And it faded fast on the one patch on me but lasted a long time on my sweater!! Too long... such a bummer I hope the original one is how I’ve been imagining it? Sweet and ethereal.... I bought the dua second had off Mercari as I didn’t want to spend too much on a dua. I do have two more duas coming from them directly, should be interesting! 🧐 this may be my last chance with them 😔

LMFAO person below me said this smells like Eclaire on the dry down. I have Elysia Marshmallow and Eclaire and it is NOTHING like Eclaire. Like yes, they’re gourmands, but not at all similar. This is a great dupe for YBM. From start to dry down it’s a YBM 1:1. Even the longevity is the same as Kayali. It just doesn’t last. I do prefer Marshmallow Blush more, but I’m already halfway through this bottle. I’m gonna let it macerate and use my other perfumes. If you want a longer dupe of YBM get: 1. Marshmallow Blush (sweeter and long lasting than YBM. Best bang for your buck, imo) $33 CAD 2. Cloud Candy (very “loud”/beast mode version of YBM) $40 CAD 3. Elysia Marshmallow (if you want a light version of YBM) $35 Lots of ppl suggested Pink Candy too, but that’s $79 CAD so to me, no thanks!

I am so seriously impressed with this line, I am actually so surprised as I wouldn’t class myself as a particularly big arabic fragrances fan but this Elysia line is seriously good. Especially if we take cost into consideration. I haven’t smelled the OG but I own marshmallow blush by paris corner but I’d say this is better. Cheaper and nicer, the opening is much smoother and nicer and it is actually clear what the opening note is (I could not tell in MB) and when it settles it is also smoother, less plasticy or synthetic harsh. Unmistakably marshmallow though. This will be good on its own and for layering. If anyone is after a lower cost alternative, this is a solid choice! Bottle is nice too

A nice Yum Bougie Marshmallow dupe, its airy and sweet. However it's really weak although it's been sitting for a month. I may prefer Candelicious although it's slightly more strawberry forward, it felt stronger when I had it. Update: It's getting stronger!

An airy dupe of YBM. Not as strong in the strawberry but the marshmallow is still there. However this sprays so oily on me 😂 I still prefer Marshmallow Blush as a dupe of YBM and if I want something extra syrupy and sweet I go for Yara Elixir.

Smells 1-1 to cloud candy, never tried the original. Smells exactly like a Strawberry Shortcake, only problem is the lack of longevity in both. I would say (perhaps my imagination) that Cloud Candy has the slightest edge in quality.

I have 6 YBM dupes plus the original. This is a good interpretation of it. First it has a blast of alcohol and then you can smell that YBM. This is the first day i have this and it is extremely weak. Will let it sit and update.

this girlie is like marshmallow blush’s shy little sister. similar vibe, just more airy and less sweet my only real issue was that the sillage is super intimate. cute, but a lil too quiet for me ⋆ ̊ʚɞ

I’ve only just got it, so it may need to sit. However, I got a decant of Marshmallow Blush which had sat for a bit, and this smells basically the same. So , maybe only longevity and strength will improve with time? It smells juvenile, like sweet and fluffy, but there’s always this tinge of chemical with it that I could smell in Marshmallow Blush. I had the Kayali gift set at Christmas and I couldn’t smell that chemical smell in Yum BM, so I hope it disappears as it sits. Usually ambroxan lasts such a long time on my skin, and this isn’t doing, so I am unsure what’s going on or if the notes are exactly right? I guess I need to come back shortly with an update. That being said, Elysia Vanilla didn’t improve with time, but the Rock Sugar and Lychee ones really did! We’ll see!

Smells like a strawberry or raspberry marshmallow, that's it. Comparing it to other marshmallow fragrances such as the Give me Gourmand, Yara elixir or Marshmallow blush this one is pretty "calm", nothing screams, nothing is screechy, it's well blended. It's okay. Maybe a little weak for some.

Edit March 2026 This has macerated BEAUTIFULLY now! It's super strong so either the people who are saying it's weaker than the original have brand new bottles or they're coming down with a cold. Some people just lie because they don't like it that clone companies out do the originals lots of the time. I'd maybe say Genzee Marshmallow is a little bit stronger but that's if I'm being mega nit picky. This is cheaper and I'll just be getting this in future. I still have half a bottle of the original because I feel bad using it up. I keep it for nights out etc. **I ended up getting the Sweet Banana and Vanilla ones for Christmas and they're amazing too. Fragrance World never misses for me and this Elysia range is no different. *Original review* This smells pretty much identical to the original. I am full of cold at the minute so my nose isn't working quite as well but even then I can tell it's very close. I own several dupes of YBM as well as the original. I've got Marshmallow Blush, Perfume Parlour Boujee Bliss, Choco Musk Marshmallow and now this. (I've since also had a sample of Genzee Marshmallow and have the Choco Musk Marshmallow oil on the way. I got a pack of three with the OG Choco Musk, Marshmallow and Pistachio) so I'm very familiar with the DNA. MB has more marshmallow and musk, the original has more strawberry and so does this. Perfume Parlour is pretty close too and the Choco Musk one is kinda like it but with the original Choco Musk DNA and a hefty dose of a petrol smell. I'm more than happy to have picked this up on Vinted for a tenner. Fragrance World have never let me down so I already knew it would be decent. I want the whole line now. Especially Vanilla 28 and Maui Banana**

So confusing. I do think Fragrantica's version is missing a lot of notes.

A few days ago, I reviewed this fragrance, and I gave it really bad marks. It just smelled terrible to me. Well here I am 4 days later and I'm having a different experience with it. I was a little stressed and just healing up from a cold when I first tried it, so maybe that affected my senses? Well today I can say that I can indeed detect a bit of raspberry, and the vanilla cream is certainly there as well (maybe slightly loudly). It's not a terribly sophisticated scent - I don't think I'll be wearing it out of the house - but that's not necessarily a bad thing, as it's very comforting. Is it great? No. But it isn't bad either.

I received this yesterday from Jomashop along with Elysia Pista Sundae. I will admit, they have done a good job with the Kayali DNA. However ...I'm slowly beginning to realize that I'm starting to get over the strawberry marshmallow craze. It is a beautiful and delicious scent right from the beginning. I have no doubt that it would probably get better as it sits. It's just that for me ,this DNA is starting to become redundant. For anyone who loves this scent profile , Elysia marshmallow is a solid choice.

Just got this. The bottle is gorgeous and the smell is pretty yummy. Maybe a bit too fruity-feminine for me (I’m a guy who likes creamy gourmand fragrances or sexy deep masculine fragrances depending on the occasion) - To keep it short and simple, this smells exactly like if Yara Candy had a touch of the Bianco Latte DNA. Creamy, milky, sweet, pink, sugary with a splash of fresh fruits (I get strawberry and plum) 7/10

Very similar to Yum Boujee Marshmallow and its dupes. Actually I have decants of several of them and this scent is almost identical to Shams Al Emarat Pink Blush Ard Al Zaafaran. It has a lot of Ambroxan. I think it is ok. It is a simple, girly, sweet scent. Too much Ambroxan for my taste. A sample is enough.

From the notes listed, I thought I was going to love this one, because raspberry + vanilla sounds divine. Sadly, I can't detect any raspberry at all. For some reason, I get peach, but not in a good way. Peach, smothered in custard that's been left out of the fridge overnight. Oh well.

This is a lot airier than marshmallow blush. It’s not as tooth achy sweet and dense. MB chokes me out especially in the heat- this is perfect for high heat even though it’s the same scent just airier. Glad I went with this one after I used up my MB.

This is the BEST (YBM) dupe of them all (and yes, I do have them ALL). What makes it stand out is that it is VERY LONG LASTING (it ”wins” over the OG as well). Get this one! I give it a 9,5/10.

Elysia Marshmallow is YBM but a little bit creamier, with a little less fruitiness. Smooth and creamy, dries down on my skin to a white chocolate scent.

Smells like stale baby spit up, save your money and go buy Shams Al Emarat Pink Blush Ard Al Zaafaran smells way better imo.

Smells like Eclaire on the drydown after all the strawberry goodness dissipates.
