Elysia Pista Sundae

I have tried many dupes of kayali yum pistagio gelato Lattafa affection I think the haselnut and the Lily of the valley is most present. Pistagio is quite strong. The lastning was 2 hours. And the smelling of nuts was not that nice.. Paris corner Khair pistagio it smells ok. Low key Sweet and Pistagio but it faders quickly. Not long lastning. And the pistagio and geranium is not my favorite scent combo.. Afnan kianna angel. Oh this is so strong on the pistagio note and bergamot.. it takes 30 minutes to smell better then its softer. But not the best smell. But the base is very nice of vanilla. But the opening just ruin everything. Now fragrance world pista sundae It opened up with pistagio. After about 10 minutes I smell geranium despite it dosent list that in the notes. So first I got disapointed. But then the germaniums gone thank god! and the scent turns in to a soft, Vanilla, marshmallow and clean scent. It is very nice and I can understand why the scent profile is popular. Of all the dupes on kayali yum pistagio gelato this is the best one. It was a new perfume and it stayed on the skin för 8 hours. So the longivity is good. And smells soft, clean, marshmallow, sweet, feminine. This is the one I like the most.

A YPG dupe thats sweeter and less soapy. Give her a chance to macerate. She got sweeter after 2 weeks. My favourite YPG dupe is still Zimaya Inekas Solis, however Inekas Solis doesn't stay well on me. I got this to layer with my Inekas Solis to let it last longer.

Just wanted to share a comforting layering combo I've just tried: Eos Pistachio lotion > EOS pistachio body mist > Elysia Pista Sundae > 2 - 3 sprays of Baklava Bite Gulf Orchid on chest. Turns into a very comforting and marshmallowy pistachio combo.

Another blind buy for me!!! I love this also, it does remind me the Khair Pistachio very much but cheaper. I have not ever smelled the Kayali original.

Nose Note #1008 Much like French Avenue Luscious, but from memory, this is weaker and less nutty and just overall smells like a cheaper perfume. Affection was also great, quite a lot like Luscious. To understand what it smells like imagine a pistachio ice cream, but not so milky. I think it translates the image quite well. This is not exactly fit for the summer, I don't know what's in there but it's a little too thick for summer. If you try to disassociate from pistachio imagery this basically smells a little soapy, flowery, a little creamy (not exactly powdery) and a little lactonic. Definately more feminine or just straight up feminine. Moderate performance, a bit dissapointing. Luscious was much much better in that regard. 6.9/10, not bad, but I'd go for Luscious

Opening is mainly jasmine & rum with a soapy scent, you can sense the presence of nutty notes but you can’t really make out which exactly as they’re barely perceptible. The dry down is slightly sweet with a hint of pear & cardamom but mostly powdery. Probably will update this review after I let it macerate for a couple of weeks. Overall great value for the price, I’m hoping for the notes listed to emerge eventually. Perfect for summer and lovers of floral/fruity scents.

This one is a little more fresh and citrus compared to Kayali Yum Pistachio. I prefer Khair Pistachio. Khair is sweeter, nuttier and closer to Yum. Will update with performance. Bottles are cute but the petals are rubber and all 3 of mine had little skid marks. To @bronnebug below: yes it has that same clean vibe as the OG. I wouldn't consider any of this DNA a true pistachio marshmallow scent.

there is no nuttiness here, the pistachio is less detectable than the pear, especially post dry-down. in all honesty, you can mostly disregard the top notes on this one - this is a very clean, mildly sweet, fresh pear & gelato scent. longevity is good, 6hrs. projection is also decent, especially if you're heavy handed. very inoffensive and a pleasant wear. didn't wow me but i like it.

It's not the closest dupe for Kayali Yum Pistachio. I prefer Paris Corner Khair Pistachio. Elysia Pista sundae is more soapy and a little more... plasticy? It's not as creamy and sweet as Paris Corner or Kayali. I do recommend the Elysia VCRS dupe though, that one is spot on. BTW I'm comparing these all after I've had them for at least a year. Elysia Pista has good longevity

I like it but I had to macerate it as the pistachio, cardamon and rum were very strong in the beginning almost felt like it was clashing. It’s pretty fresh smelling. I still have to pair it up with a mist thats a bit sweeter and creamier as it lacks the creamy feel but once it dries down it smells a lot sweeter. Just lacks more creaminess.

Just got the 50ml version - it's a fresh, sweet and green nutty fragrance off the top. After that, it settles into a warm vanilla sugar and slightly nutty aroma. I wish it retained that cool gelato fresh top it has, but my skin warms it up. It smells better on test strips and on my clothes.

It opens with an almost soapy floral scent and dries down to a generic nuttiness with cardamon. Not unpleasant but it's not the scent dna I particularly gravitate to and I was never a fan of YPG anyway. I just wanted to have a decant of this for comparison purposes. Still quite wearable for the majority as its not really gourmand.

Smells like YPG with extra added baby powder. All I can think of when I wear it is baby powder.

Not an exact dupe, this one is more powdery. It s decent.

I absolutely love gourmand fragrances, especially sweet ones. Unfortunately, this perfume is nothing like what’s described in the official notes. There is no pistachio here at all — not even a nutty nuance. The opening is very soapy and laundry-powder-like, with a noticeable cardamom note. Later it turns into pear with some kind of berry, but the overall scent remains quite soapy. This fragrance may appeal to those who enjoy green, powdery compositions, but it’s definitely not for sweet princesses. Maybe it needs time to macerate — a year or so — but in its current state, it doesn’t match the gourmand description.

The Yum Pistachio Gelato clones on the market fall on a spectrum from 'cold-smelling' like actual ice-cream (from a cool musk; since frozen ice-cream emits an airy musk and is less creamy) to a creamier 'melted ice-cream' smell (or perhaps a milkshake smell, since melted ice-cream doesn't sound as appealing). Here's an ordered ranking of where each falls on that spectrum. From 'coldest' to creamiest: - Paris Corner Khair Pistachio ('coldest' smelling clone; most true to the idea of pistachio gelato/ice-cream, and my favourite as a result; actually smells 'cold' in winter when there's cold air accompanying the scent in your nostrils; less realistic when smelling it with warm air) - Lattafa Affection (the most balanced between 'cold' and creamy, and is still noticeably 'cold'; if you own Lattafa Affection, you don't need Paris Corner Khair Pistachio unless you're a perfectionist for this DNA, because they're largely redundant) - French Avenue Luscious (This probably ranks here, but I'm not entirely sure since I haven't smelt it in a while and the bottle is buried under boxes. But this also adds a 'peanuts' accord, which is kind of cardboard-adjacent to my nose, and dulls the composition with the most bland/boring accord imaginable to my nose, personally. The peanuts accord ruins it for me, but this is some other people's favourite clone of this DNA because of the peanuts accord. We all smell scents differently though - there's something like a 30% variance from person to person in olfactory receptor genes.) - Fragrance World Elysia Pista Sundae (a much creamier version; gives the impression of melted ice-cream or a milkshake) I don't own the OG so I can't rank the OG for now, but based on other reviews, it might be the absolute 'coldest' smelling and some detect an additional soapiness in it. Maybe that cold-air musk comes off as soapiness to some people when they're smelling it in warm weather, as opposed to smelling it in winter? Also, I haven't tried the other clones from Gulf Orchid, Zimaya, Afnan, etc. I'm super-happy with the Paris Corner clone though, and it was ironically the very last clone I bought for this DNA, despite being the very first to market (I think). Who knew the first to market could be the best smelling (i.e. the most like frozen ice-cream), and with probably the best performance?

Elysia Pista Sundae by Fragrance World is a better blended verssion of Kayali's Yum Pistachio Gelato than Paris Corner - Khair Pistachio. Paris Corner Khair Pistachio Gelato is sharper and it's green fresh note is more overpowering than in Elysia Pista Sundae by Fragrance World. Elysia PS is smooth and fluffy, a little bit more powdery than Khair Pistachio but it smotheens sharpness in Elysia P S, so no sharpness is found in Elysia Pista Sundae. I see myself wearing this fragrance in spring and summer. So who like green, eassy to put on and go fragrances , you will probably can try a sample of Elysia Pista Sundae.

Near identical to Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato but lasts wayyyy longer. I sprayed it on my clothes and could still smell it 24 hours later. It initially has the same soapy, clean, green scent as the original but I find that the dry down is quite different and less ice-creamy but still sweet. I've found that it pairs really well with coconut, I've been layering it with VS Coconut Passion and the combo balances out the soapy, cleaness and brings out more of the sweet, creaminess of the perfume. Overall, an amazing dupe for the price.

I just received this in the mail yesterday from Jomashop. I was surprised by how powdery it was. I expected it to be a little more nutty and pistachio forward. This literally smells like a baby powder, cotton candy combo. It's not bad, it just wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I just got this yesterday so I will definitely give it time to sit. Hopefully it will deepen and develop to reveal more notes. Right now it is just a sweet baby powder. Update will follow.

I have not tried YPG, so I don’t know how close this dupe is. But looking at the notes, PS is not quite as close as Khair Pistachio. I like Pista Sundae as it is not as a dupe. I love the sweet creaminess and somewhat powdery notes. However, longevity is not that great. So i probably have to do a touch up spray after 4 hours.... Considering the price, it would not be an issue unlike the OG.
