Elysia Vanilla Sugar

Really impressed with this It’s kind of what I hoped the Kayali OG would be I purchased Kayali after smelling in store but when I got it home it just smelt like masculine after shave nothing like in store. And sold it. This fragrance world version is much better than Khair confection dupe also. This is super sweet’ jammy ‘ and sexy it has the Bubble gum note mentioned in original but the orginal has a heavy patcholi Tonka which out weigh the bubble gum Sadly in my opinion. But this vanillas sugar has Great bubble gum sugar sweetness and candied sweets and fluffy airy The jammy dry down is delicious I love it I sprayed it on way home from picking it up (outdoors when sprayed) And the scent lasted for 5 hrs and I could sense it around me as a bubble also got complement. I left it for one week and then sprayed again it even more gorgeous It lasted until next day on my clothes and on my skin about 8-12 hrs It’s projected very well for first 7 hrs and gained a lot of compliments ..so I assume it leave s a trail I actually like this more than the Kayali og And will be buying a bottle of this vanilla sugar bottle every month to create a back stock for my self as absolouty love it

This is a very light and juicy version of vcrs. It is also a liiiiittle more powdery and fresher; floral freshness. It definitely smells similar especially as the weeks go by. I've had this for months and it has certainly deepened and the alcohol opening relaxes completely. It leans a little more into the juicy aspect of pear and the freshness of violet (the notes on fragrantica are wrong for some reason). But it is very lovely and summer friendly. This bottle is a summer gourmand for sure. People can definitely smell you I've been complimented twice while wearing this perfume hours later despite going nose blind to it. I also smelt it on some of my clothes the next day. Pretty sweet and airy and inoffensive and delicious.

I’ve never smelled Kayali rock sugar, but I know it was intended as the dupe for it. This isn’t sweet like you’d think it would be and I think part of that is the musk balancing it out. It feels floral, musky, with a bit of sweet thrown in, but like not a standard floral musk. It’s a little perfumey smelling e.g., I can’t really smell the layers or each note individually but they’re blended really closely and well. I think it’s a spring, summer, and even a January scent too. It didn’t last when I first got it a few weeks ago, but now it’s macerated it lasts ages and I don’t go nose blind. But it’s not my favourite type of scent-I’m more fresh than feminine in this way. Oh and it’s only cost me £19.99 - bargain!!!

Correct notes are Top notes : Vanilla, pear, marshmallow, rum, ivy leaves, ylang-ylang Heart notes : Bubble-gum, jelly candy, caramel, jasmine, labdanum Base notes : Sugar, patchouli, tonka, cashmere wood, sandalwood, vetiver. This is so well done! Lika a cloud of marshmellow sweetness! The vanilla last so long! This is soft, feminine, not synthetic at all on skin. Its smells marshmellow and jasmin in the most beautiful way. Nothing smells of. On paper in smells more like candy. On skin its not juvenile I am 39 and it smells like a sweet perfume for me, its a gourmand marshmellow in the best way. I am so suprised. Because I have tried khair confection and that smelled so synthetic. The pear was horrible..

For me this is very pretty, it’s an easy reach and is pretty strong! It’s quite elegant in a fun way. I don’t find it juvenile and at 52 that’s always a consideration. It’s uplifting and just a happy (more perfume than gourmand) scent. I was quite surprised at how elevated it is as I was expecting a sticky vanilla candy scent, the sweetness is just perfect. I have all of the Elysia fragrances and this one is in my top three (1. Sugar Patchouli, 2. Vanilla and 3. Vanilla Sugar) but to be fair for the cost it’s a really good line that I really enjoy and the only one I was disappointed with was Marshmallow. None of them needed maturation, all good out of the box which for me at this price point is a bonus!
