Imperial

I would say this is around 85% similar to Imperial Valley by Gissah . Since i own both, did a side by side comparison on either wrist There are some subtle differences in the opening and the far dry down. Both are versatile fragrances and can be worn throughout the year. however I would not personally use it in a formal business setting. They are better suited for Casual , Clubbing and semi formal. Imperial by Fragrance world is strong and a couple of sprays would go a long way. But it is not the powerhouse that Gissah is. Expect a respectable 6 - 8 hours with medium projection for the first 1 - 1.5 hours

I'm not a big fan of sweet gourmands, but I'll make an exception for this one because it does it a little different. Picture Khamrah, add the pine note of Giorgio Red for Men, throw in just enough green herbal bitterness from the Davana, then hide a light fougere accord that only appears after several hours. Sound interesting? Yeah, it kind of is. Forget about the promised oud, leather and vetiver, because those are not detectable. Plenty of vanilla, orange blossom and white musks. The result is unisex, and this will be a crowd pleaser. A small amount projects for several hours, lasts as a personal scent for over 8 hours. Casual, date and clubbing friendly, but definitely not formal or business appropriate.

Too much. It's a very in your face perfume, arabic style with a western market in mind. I find it suffocating. Too much sweetness, too much spiciness, too masculine, too fresh. It wants to be everything but ends up becoming unwearable. If you like it, you're in luck, because it projects and lasts. Edit: well, this changed radically after sitting in the back of my cupboard for a couple of weeks. The spiciness is gone, and so is the generic sweetness. It's become fruity sweet, more juicy and light. The amber, vetiver and citrus merge into something reminiscent of green mango, pretty much like a more dense and heady version of sceptre malachite, which dupes GoF. I find that one more interesting and wearable, though.

I have had this fragrance for about 18 months, stored correctly. I've also had imperial valley for similar time and recently purchasing lutfah seventh heaven, has led me to comparing them. I wish I was educated and informed enough to give you the specific differences, but another reviewer mentioned a 'pine' note and I'm happy to go with that. From one spray on my outer wrist, I've been catching little whiffs of it all afternoon and into the night, so the performance is impressive, albeit mostly skin scent. To my mind it's the same DNA and I've enjoyed the scent, it's only when sprayed and tested side by side, that I can notice the obvious and apparent differences. Aside from not having the same performance as the OG (to be expected) it's not as well rounded. It smells a little rough round the edges and it has something extra (all I can think of is green and pine) that makes it somewhat different. That being said, this is comparing up close to the skin. I think the differences are less obvious in the air.

I picked up a practically full bottle for £10 on Vinted. Fantastic bottle and box, and an even better smell. It’s a beautiful sweet and spicy smell perfect for the cooler months.
