Invicto Intense

i only had this for like 2 days now, the performance is insane, 8/10

I've had this stored away after first few sprays for nearly a year, like the original its duping, it does not last long. I get 3 maybe 4 hours after heavy sprays (4 per arm and and 4 on shirt). Really wish it lasted longer and projected at all. But for the low cost of $14, cant expect too much

All I get from this is Lavender & Vanilla....hence, it was never worn. I can't stand heavy lavender. Gave it away to my nephew this past weekend...

I haven't smelt the OG Invictus Intense to compare. I don't get any whiskey or amber here; it's just marketing and there are no other relevant notes to vote up. This is basically just a slightly darker version of original Invictus, but otherwise very minimal difference. In the first 30 minutes it's still spring appropriate like Invictus, but slightly darker (slightly but still noticeably darker). As it develops into the mid after 30 minutes, it gets slightly darker than the opening and can barely be considered fall appropriate at this point. Without regard to the darker profile, the DNA is 90% the same. Regarding the darker profile, the DNA is 65% similar. It's the same white-sugar-syrup 'bubblegum' aquatic. Smells much less complex than the original Fragrance World Invicto (cloning the original Invictus) but I just opened my bottle of Invicto Intense an hour ago, so maturation may bring some complexity and smoothness to the profile. Other comparisons: This also smells like a brighter version of JPG Scandal Le Parfum, which is like a simplified (lower quality and flatter/less complex) and *much* darker version of original Invictus. Scandal Le Parfum is honestly super mid, though. The white-sugar-syrup DNA is best done brighter as a spring scent rather than so much darker as a fall/winter scent. And finally, Scandal Le Parfum smells exactly like Paris Corner Forbidden Sugar (cloning Franck Boclet Sugar) to my nose, which is surprising (I haven't smelt the OG Franck Boclet Sugar). Oh, and finally finally, Scandal Le Parfum and Paris Corner Forbidden Sugar both smell exactly like Gulf Orchid Sweet Heaven Tobacco. Shocking, I know. Also disappointing, gg my wallet. It's like fragrance houses are unknowingly repackaging the same mediocre white-label DNA. As I said, this DNA being made so dark that it's a fall/winter DNA makes it inferior. That's not a reference to Invicto Intense though, which is still spring/fall appropriate, although I think OG Invictus or original Fragrance World Invicto are superior.
