John Gustav Homme Le Parfum

Nose Note #773 It's kind of like Dior Homme Intense, but less iris, it's sweet, it has vanilla, has lavender, it's a little bit spicy. It's just great. I don't like DHI a lot, but this is great. I'm not getting any original Le Male vibes, but I'm getting the Armani Code connection. It's very nice, easy, not overly sweet. It's just a great scent that would satisfy mature male audience. Upd. after 3-4 months - It's reminding me more and more of Armani Code Profumo. So nice... 8.5/10, performance could have been better, it's just average

So many contradicting reviews on this one. From my understanding the biggest difference is in the opening which disappears after a few minutes anyway. I don't need it to be a 100% exact clone and it smells fantastic. Sprayed on my wrist before bedtime and can still smell the next morning. Signature worthy.

Salutations one and all. May I take this opportunity to claim this comment section as my own? Thank you. Despite its impecuniousness, this fragrance is not worth its price. But why? It's not offensive smelling nor is it miles away from LMLP. And yet, it still manages to be, for want of other words, entirely limp. Upon first spray, there is a probing gesture towards LMLP; maybe a hint of cardamom, a touch of powderiness. These olfactory components try their hardest to disappear as quickly as possible. Mere ephemera. Gone. You and I, dear reader, are then left with an aromachemical mess of synthetic vanilla. A slightly oriental vanilla, perhaps. But it is rather crap. Longevity is fine, projection fine too. In a way, I wish this would project less and have less lasting power, so I might dodge the allegations of dousing myself in such underwhelming perfumery. This is a poorly-built scaffold of an idea, not a fragrance in its own right. Friends, Fragrance Enthusiasts, Countrymen, lend me your ears. Do not buy this fragrance. It will remain unworn.

I was curious, and coz i love JPG LMLP so much, so I bought this dupe. It's NOT even close to JPG LMLP. Any reviewers or Influencer saying otherwise is full of sh***t. I lose trust to those reviewers, no credibility. So don't waste money on this dupe, even it's only about $15. It's not a bad fragrance. Just nothing special. So I'll be giving it away. Get the original JPG LMLP, it's worth it. One the best designer fragrance in my opinion.

Probably the only fragrance to date I've re sold due to not liking/ not wanting it. It's like 70-80% Le Male Le Parfum. This really just seems like a more watered down "more fresh" take on the DNA. I have a full bottle of the original now so I didn't really need it any more. It's decent but I think there's better alternatives for a little bit more.
