Oud Madness

First Impression: Absolutely repulsive. The opening was pungent and aggressive, reminding me of a very specific insect oder that is commonly found in government-distributed white flour here in Iraq. Thick, unpleasant, and genuinely gag-inducing. Dry Down: After settling, the scent transformed into something along the lines of synthetic leather, hints of burned rubber, and an overall industrial feel. Still challenging, still intimidating. The Plot Twist: Two days later, I sprayed it on my little brother as a joke—fully expecting the same gage inducing reaction. Instead, I was hit with one of the most beautiful rose scents I’ve ever smelled. A rich, elegant rose emerged, supported by subtle leather undertones. I was honestly shocked. It felt like a completely different fragrance. Current Wear Experience: To my nose, it’s now a gorgeous rose-leather composition with incredible depth and character. However, to others—especially my brothers—it remains offensive and overwhelming. This fragrance is extremely polarizing. Performance: Beast mode. Room-filling projection with excellent longevity. Two sprays are more than enough. Wearability: Very limited. I only apply two sprays on my arm, strictly for personal enjoyment. I would never wear this publicly due to the very real risk of offending or choking people around me. Final Verdict: A masterpiece for my nose, a nightmare for others. Rating: Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 9/10 Overall risk: Extremely high

This stuff is great! Reminds me of Sceptre Malachite without the sour fruit note that I detect when it first starts to dry down. The rose, oud, and vanilla are well-blended and play nice with each other. Long-lasting (12 + hours) with Goldilocks projection (not too weak, not too strong, just right). Such a pleasing scent to my nose! Oud Satin Mood and Amethyst also come to mind (must be the rose note, which I absolutely love if done right!). I've not smelled Oud Maracaja or Azzure Oud... but if it smells anything like this, it must be amazing! You can wear this year-round (maybe not in the high heat)... but go light on the sprays, as I'll bet it can be obnoxious if you were to get carried away? The price is definitely right (around $20), so it's a winner all around. This will definitely be in my fall/winter/spring rotation!

The notes are definitely not correct on this but I don't really care. This was a rollercoaster for me when I first smelled it. On the first sniff I hated it! I've let it sit on skin for 10 minutes and I was blown away! It literally filled the room and all I could smell was this pefume for the whole day! It's heavenly! I've smelled the OG too but I lowkey prefer this one. The smell starts out with a fruity, maracuja note. As it dries down it keeps the maracuja smell and the oud comes out. There's some sweetness in it aswell. I've got my bottle for like 25€ and that's a steal! This will be left in my winter/datenight rotation for a long time I think! I've received many compliments while wearing this perfume from friends, colleagues and people at the bar/club. Definitely a worthy pickup!

i just picked this up smells amazing a steal for the price they need to add the passionfruit note and fruity notes on here i ordered a sample of the OG so will have a full review comparing both soon check my unboxing at pkilla617@youtube.. Quick little update this is 1 of 1 to maison cavalli oud maracuja I sprayed a 2 ml sample and it smells just like it, the passionfruit in this is so realistic this has excellent longevity and projection to me the only difference I found between this and the og is this gets a little more funky towards the end of the dry down but I will be doing more testing and come back with a third update..

I bought my bottle of Oud Madness months ago and loved it after my first sniff. Yesterday I bought Oud Maracuja and it's identical. I'm blown away with the job fragrance world did on this. As to be expected, it doesn't have the staying power of the OG but I still get easy 8hrs out of it. This is the cheapest fragrance in my collection and also one of the strongest. It's a beast performer and I doubt I'll ever buy another Oud Maracuja again when I can pick this up for $30 aud. 9/10

You either love it or hate it, rarely in between. At the beginning it's a very "industrial" type of scent but after 30 minutes or so it becomes much better and bearable, it's a very mature oudy type of scent only for people who really appreciate it. It lasts very long and it projects amazingly and it gets quite a few compliments. Be careful if you blind buy this fragrance, better to research it or try it first, it might not be what you expect.

Honestly this is the closest dupe to Oud Maracuja! 95% similar to my nose. This one is going to be tough to beat. French Ave’s Azzure Oud has a bit of a harsh opening, thst i didn’t realize until i smelled Oud Madness! Longevity is there for sure! Oud Madness also for the price you can get it for absolutely outshines any potential Oud Maracuja clones!

I don’t know the “original” but this one has the longest longevity in my collection and I don’t have anything like this. It is passion fruit spice sweet, for me, as a woman, is delicious. And can be use any season and daytime. I gave it to my husband but sometimes I remember the scent and I rush to use it by myself. It is worth every penny.

I'm impressed. The passion fruit is spot on, just like in Oud Maracuja. Unfortunately, there is no oud in this. Just fruits that smell a bit like nail polish (in a good way). Overall, it's 90-95% accurate to the original and a great stand alone fragrance in general. The performance is also above average.

Definitely main notes are passion fruit and some other exotic mix fruits, propobly mango with something else. In opening oud and leather notes kinda overwhelming fruitness. 2h since spray and you get more of fruits and safron. Lasting whole day easy. Definitely room filler. I really love it.

I really enjoy Oud Madness. Don't know what the OG smells like but this is magic. It is truly a unisex fragrance that is probably best worn in fall and winter, but I will probably use it year around. Not too oudy and patchouli just peeks around the corner. Slightly sweet. I highly recommend.

Good God this stuff is strong! Two sprays and my entire room smelled like this potent juice! For the price you are getting more than your moneys worth.I use in all seasons (just go easy on the sprays in the heat).

Wow! Very unusual. I love the smell of this. Easier to reach for than Azzure Aoud. I love the passionfruit smell with the Oud. Not sure where that is coming from? Long lasting, 8-10hrs on me. Bold and strong.

This is crazy. The quality is there, the performance is there and it is very similar to the og after 15 minutes, the opening not so much. This is an AMAZING fragrance, for the price is just crazy.

An absolute love for me ! I got a 5ml tester of oud Maracuja and to me its a one on one clone . And this thing last forever so spray carefully . The passionfruit is heavenly in this one.

I got this perfume a month ago, insane performance, smells the exact same. Stunning in general, DO NOT OVERSPRAY, cz it will get cloying then. MAX 4 maybe 5 sprays. Incredible value

I have this an azzure oud, i like this better ,more easible to wear, azzure oud has animalicness and very strong, this one is frutier and pleasening

super powerful onse spray in the air and my desk still smell it for 2 days , opens with a sweet passion fruit note then switches to a powerful oudh

wore this perfume much more in the last couple of days and changed my mind, not because i wanted to give it another chance, but because it smells addictive and super likeable. i used to dislike the fruity note but it grew on me big time, its very addictive and sweet and i always wanna reapply to experience that fruity accord again but still think the fruit accord feels synthetic and smells like fake tropical fruit juice/gum flavorings. the oud accord is in the background and smells like woods, gasoline, ash, tar and a bit leathery. The musks used in this fragrance are vanillic and clean, and they give the perfume a slightly oily, fuzzy texture. performance is nuclear in the first 4 hours but the scent almost disappears on my skin after the 6 hours mark so the longevity is weak on my skin. used to think its feminine but honestly its perfectly uni. funny thing is that today i sprayed diaghilev by roja (1200$) on my right arm and oud madness on the left ( almost free) and asked a few people "guess the price and quality", most said the quality is the same and equal and both smell wonderful, so yeah, over the days i spend $$$ on smelly water. give it a chance if you like tropical fruits mixed with oud accord, its very unique. edit= 7 hours after application somebody noticed my scent 1 meter away(4 sprays), so yeah its pretty potent stuff and me not noticing it 6 hours in was my nose fatigue issue. old comment i deleted: "i have mixed feelings about this, ordered 4 bottles because i thought im gonna love this and i love ombre nomade but the fragranticas "main accords chart" fooled me. at one side i love the gasoline tarry earthy ashy woody "oud" accord of oud madness, but at the other side im not a fan of that overly synthetic candy like fruity (fake mango and tropical fruits)accord that i have experienced in feminine perfumes/ cheap fake fruit juices before. ombre nomade is darker and much more rosy than this, this is like a lighter and more wearable friendlier ombre nomade in a way with MUCH MUCH more fruits and sweetness. fruit accord in ombre nomade is done in a more realistic/tart/sour way. the rose isn't pronounced in oud madness at all, so this is more like "ashtray oud accord in the background+ clean musks+ candied SWEET synthetic tropical fruits that is in your face and doesn't let go" and imo this combo do not go together at all. as it dries down the fruit accord fades "a bit", and becomes more musky woody "oudy" and more to my taste. smells VERY clean(non animalic) and mass appealing overall, and very feminine imho too so im gonna have a hard time finishing 10mls , let alone 4 damn bottles."

Great deal for the price. Strong in both projection and fixation. The opening is a little harsh for my taste. I've managed to soften it with layerings. No complaints: it's worth it as an introduction to the passion fruit note in a collection. Update: After a couple of months of using this one and waiting for the juice to mature, the synthetic side of the outlet and the drying remain. And this is the big difference between 90% of the tupes and the OGs: the evolution and subtlety of the blend. Not my cup of tea. Another one I preferred to give away to someone who appreciates it more.

No diria que es un 1:1 ya que se le siente lo sintetico los primesros minutos pero en el secado es una locura y por mas que la nota de maracuja al menos aca no esta declarada es un 90% similar PERO es una bomba nuclear lo tengo hace 1 mes y es increíble la cantidad de cumplidos que me estan dando usando unicamente 3 sprays, dura alrededor de 7 horas bien potente y dsp 10/12 en una burbuja personal pero con mucha presencia, Ni hablar si te tirad en ropa saque una prenda que use hace 2 semanas del placard y seguia con el olor impregnado. Muy recomendado por el precio

While Oud Maracuja Screams Oud Madness shouts and for some people that might be a more pleasant experience. Very Masculine Rosey Leather with patchouli enshrouding the background. Definitely recommended for a sophisticated gentleman and honestly a beautiful scent. My only issue would be it isn't very daily friendly and definitely not wearable for everybody but that's apart of the charm of this type of scent. Winter performer for sure and a great price just couldn't see myself wearing it frequently.

Never had my nose on the original Oud Maracuja but as a stand alone fragrance I do enjoy the woody, passion fruit kick and solid performance of this version. The wife disagrees. 'Toilet cleaner', 'muti shop', 'sweaty BO' are some of her comments. In fact she asked me to please wear it every time I leave the house to repel other women! 😂

The oud+passionfruit combo is very clever! However, the fruity notes are too generic and lack complexity. It is very divisive, and it definitely isn't blind buy safe. I also have a decant for Azurre Oud, and they both smell exactly the same; they also have the same color, so I think they could be the same juice. 7,5/10

This is an okay clone of Oud Maracuja. However, it smells more in between Oud Stallion and Oud Maracuja than OM alone. I don’t know if anyone else smells same

For me, I’m really only getting the sweetness of the passion fruit. It’s kind of bubble gummy, and man it’s really sweet. I don’t really get any Oud or leather at all. Even after drying on skin it’s just a sweet red fruit. Gonna let this bottle macerate for a week and we’ll see but for me this was a let down, granted, 20 bucks. Nardo Oud by orientica gets that fruity Oud vibe nicely, albeit much more expensive. And for the funky masculine Oud vibe, with some very subtle sweetness, Oud for Glory by lattaffa.

What Can I say,... Its very UN-Original :-D Fragrance-World makes some of the best dupes not because of the nearness to the OG they are copying , But because they price their "fakes/dupes/clones/inspired by's" correctly. This "Mirinda Passion Fruit drink" can be picked up for less than 15 bucks and that is the right price for cheap ingredients used to knock off Quality and Style. If you pay more than that for a clone frag , you're a sucker!

Simplistic burnt tyres and plastic mixed with cow manure/dung, a bit leathery (think mouldy leather jacket back of the wardrobe), some rose and woods in the background. Almost unwearable in most situations.

@hammad_rind It’s not about being seen. it’s about the blatant copy. I’ve said the same about MFKs and PDMs. This isn’t about price; it’s about stealing someone’s work and you choosing to support that. It really is that deep.

I just don’t understand, why you have to create azzure aoud and oud madness(bottle is 90% clone of the Oud Maracuja)? Feels like the head office have 0 sense of authenticity.

I hope you gonna get sued for stealing Maison Crivelli’s bottles design 1:1. 0 creativity deserves to be punished.

Ok got this In the post today, first impression "wow". Now this was a real gamble for me because even though I have alternatives or impressions or inspirations as some of my favourite perfume i.e ignite Oud by Ahmed Al maghribi. I tried azzure Oud by fragrance world or french avenue, I think it's one of them and that scent was straight ass cheeks. Didn't like it at all. Didn't like anything it was doing, widely spicey, cummin I think.. just didn't work for me at all and then I heard it was a dupe of Oud maracuja and I was like "oh no" because from note I always thought I'd like this. So I took a gamble. Elhumdulliah it paid off because this is a sensational fragrance. When I saw tafah the dupe dictionary guy finish his bottle and said he had gone through a few, even though I know he hypes up super cheap stuff saying they are long lasting I also know dude has some super expensive stuff and mid tier stuff - & there's no way he'd finish them before they expire wasting his time on cheapies unless they are good. He may have said he layers it. Either way it was enough to get me to pull the trigger and this one is going on repeat purchase cause I need this in my cycle. I can see me carrying this around or leaving it in my car. I need to let it sit for a while because although I can tell it's strong, I spray 4-5 times, went to pick up my kids. I could smell it outside, they couldn't When we got in the house they could but I have a feeling it'll get alot stronger over the months. It's a winner. A banger. I paid £15-17, one of my favourite cheapies. Anyone interested in my other favourites cheapies that are lower tier, not mid tier with same price because that Ahmed Al maghribi territory but low tier like fragrance world, lattafa etc. Asad elixir Kismet angel Al ameer Oud Hayaati- brown one These although I've only reached for Al ameer Oud like twice but I know it's a good perfume for it's price and performance.

2nd review or comment just to say, I got to try the OG the other day in John lewis legit with legit company rep and everything. Smelt Oud Maracuja and man they are almost 1:1, slightly, very so slightly more black pepper in the original. I actually prefer Tue juicier element of this Oud for madness. Saw it got for £15 snagged another back up bottle, had to be done. It's a fun nice decent performance perfume to throw on at night or colder weather. I asked what else is a best seller and everyone likes and was told Hibiscus Mahajád Maison Crivelli is another favourite, actually smells pretty damn nice. Nothing like this, completely different profile scent but worth checking out, there's a Paris corner Ibisco Nirvana that's apparently a good dupe with beastmode performance and sillage. Profile scent on that one if anyone is interested is a floral Rosey scent, it has some vanilla and muskyness, herbal green with a undertone of leather. Sounds mad I know, sounds like it's all over place and should be a mess but surprisingly very well balanced beautiful scent. I would say more feminine leaning but I'm still getting it, I may layer it with some odd. I need that profile DNA in my collection it's like nothing I've ever smelt. For Oud madness I've written more below. Solid cheapie, doesn't smell or perform like a cheapie. I leave it in my backpack bag to throw on whenever I remember, so glad I keep it close.

Oud Madness is absolutely not a safe blind buy, nor is it meant for the faint of heart. It is a fragrance for the gentleman who has grown tired of traditional blues, freshies, and safe woods, and wants to project a commanding, worldly aura. Given its modest investment tier, the level of depth, complexity, and sheer power Fragrance World has packed into this bottle is remarkable. If you have the poise to pull off a smoky, leather-bound tropical oud, it is an absolute showstopper for an evening out.

@moraritudor buddy chill it's not that deep. Fragrances are invisible luxury so nobodys gon see it written on your forehead and start yelling "he's wearing a dupe" and tbh this one smells really high quality for the price and does a great job at performing, 2 hours of projection, 10+ hours longevity. I get your point but for the price what you're getting this makes much more sense than buying the real deal for over 250 euros.

This fragrance is amazing but it isn't a 1 to 1 dupe to oud maracuja , in the opening in oud maracuja it smells more like realistic oud and passion fruit syrup then the dry down is like the opening except it adds the leather, in this one it doesn't have the oud that you get in oud maracuja you get that passion fruit syrup like smell and a hint of ink plus the leather and that it even in the dry down but still smell amazing

Notes on fragrantica dont do this justice. Opens up with a strong rose leather and oud and a slight tart passionfruit in the background. As it goes on you’re left with some fruits, rose and a subtle leather and oud. super nice and projects like a beast. 95% accuracy to the original, if you smell it off the cap you cant tell the difference. Edit - smells kinda like erba pura if you dumped leather and oud on it.

Arab Fragrances are known to ‘dupe’ fragrances, and this is no exception, incredible fragrance, the bottle looks like the bottle of the fragrance it is duping, and imagine, you enter a fragrance forum and start crying about your “exclusive” fragrance is being duped by a dupe brand, LOL @moraritudor @zetsumetsu

So strong, spray once or twice max and everyone in the room will smell you. Also lasts 24 hours, overall great smelling fragrance. If you like oud but not too much where it's overpowering, this is a good choice as after it dries down it becomes lighter and fruiter.

Why did Fragrance World make two different clones of Oud Maracujá? I wonder what the difference between them is. Is this the same juice as Azzure Oud? Ihonestly found Oud Maracujá to be super overrated when I tried it at Nieman Marcus.
