Proud of You Amber

The opening is so loud but personally I'm not a fan of lavender. It's so sharp you'll lose your focus 🤕 but the heart and base on your skin is magnificent - superb. I love amber and the amber/vanilla combination here is noteworthy. I don't care for how it performs on clothing, I get more lavender on fabric. The performance on skin is shocking, I got 1 hour and that's after a month of letting it sit. I give it a ❤️ because what you get after the initial opening on skin is gorgeous. I'm not going to fault it on its longevity because I have had designer fragrances with poor performance as well.

Proud of You Amber is a clone of Stronger With You Amber and it smells genuinely gorgeous. It delivers a smooth, modern amber sweetness with a clean warmth that feels polished rather than heavy and the overall profile comes across as comfortably unisex. It is the sort of scent that works just as well dressed up as it does casually. However, the major drawback is performance and it is hard to ignore. Despite how good it smells, the longevity and projection are very poor, even after giving it a long maturation period. It tends to sit very close to the skin quickly and fades sooner than you would expect from an amber focused fragrance. If you are expecting noticeable presence, it will likely disappoint Overall, it is a very accurate smelling clone with strong appeal, but the weak performance holds it back significantly. I have this and for the price that I paid, it is really good. If you want a good sweet fragrance with a fair quality, and find it below $20, worth the penny.

Nose Note #1110 This feels the least like something from the Stronger with You line. I've seen comparisons to MFK Grand Soir DNA, there's nothing similar at all between them. This is a light fuzzy amber scent with subtle white floral or lily touches, as strange as it may sound. No coca-cola. It has a bad boozy start. Overall a very unclear and uncertain scent profile. I can't see any direction where this is going. It just starts like a smudge and dies like a smudge. Performance is depressive. 5.2/10

I have not done a side by side, but it did remind me of the OG. I dislike it however, it smells like a pineapple scent on clothes you've washed a hundred times but wont' come out. Dark sour bitter flat fruity and dusty.
