This is not a review after buying and experiencing the item rather its a review after watching a reviewer on youtube "nice smelling gentleman" after maceration according to him this stuff gets really close and much better and is supposed to be best one right now, better than eternal oud according to him because EOud is not exact rather a twist. My Take so far is this group of companies always release something more powerful and much accurate slightly high in price under French Avenue, like the did with angel's Share recently called Royal blend released latest and best in all categories compared to all other clones in the market. Lets hope they do a clone of this legendary juice as well just like they did on AShare. In the mean time i wait and watch untill Soir from Fragrance World gets a bit more older in the market to gather enough reviews to make a worthy decision. Otherwise anyone can buy it now as ots not thats expensive anyway at around £25 mark in UK.

I let it sit for a bit when I first got it and wanted to give it a proper wear before review. Finally had a rainy day in Dublin yesterday for the first time in weeks so I reached for this to go to the bar. The first few minutes are kind of unpleasant I'm not gonna lie but after it settles this is very close to grand soir. This is gonna be a crazy review ok but I bought this dupe because I had a dream about grand soir and tested it the next day in store and was in love. A woman sitting behind me while I ordered a drink from the bar literally pulled my shoulders back and smelled my neck and said "IT IS YOU" and turned to the woman at a different table and started to discuss how magnificent I smelled when wearing this it was bizzare and nothing of the sorts has ever happened with any of my other perfumes. I love this I'm going to continue to rock it. Opening is harsh but settles into something truly close to to the original.

Smelt Grand Soir by MFK at local retailers - loved the DNA immensely. It's along the same vein as PDM Althair, except way less abrasive than Althair, at least to my nose. Because of my love for Grand Soir, when this was at a store I was in, I had to test it. Smelt just like Grand Soir to my memory, so decided to cop it since it's dirt cheap. To my surprise, longevity was there. Had full wearing of it to the office (10 hours inc. commute). Immensely pleased by this cop and nothing more needs to be said. Old Fragrance World buys (Barakkat Satin Oud, Cocktail Intense, Vanille en Tobacco) weren't that great for me, but after this, I've really revived my confidence in the brand. Namely their newer releases.

Received it today, its 90-95% same Atomiser is pressurised Bottle is gorgeous Juice quality is amazing for price Smooth Out of box no alcohol or sythetic mess So far good with projection and logevity WILL REPORT BACK IN 2-3 MONTHS AFTER MACERATION, HOW STRONG AND CLOSE TO PERFECTION IT GETS WITH TIME. SO FAR VERY HAPPY. (TBC...) Reporting back 15/04/25 As expected turned out to be amazing, raised in performance, bit better in sillage and same projection. All in all if you are GS fan who cant afford it buy this you wont regret. However remember maceration is the key so patience is must with these middle eastern brands.

Amazing stuff. Fragrance World creates some of the most beautiful perfumes in this price range. I paid just 16€ for this masterpiece. I can't find anything negative to say. Presentation, performance and scent way above average. Of course you have to like amber to appreciate it. Honestly if you find it at this price don't miss it. If I had to rate it as a perfume I would give it a 9/10 but if I take into account its price then.....11/10.

Very good alternative to MFK Grand Soir. I prefer Soir to be honest, its lighter and not so cloying ambry forward as Grand Soir. The added sandalwood and patchouli makes the ambry aspect softer. Strangely, I even notice a dry tobacco note in the dry down... Perfect scent for fall and early winter.

This is actually beautiful but the box smelled horrendous. I have this, Eternal oud & Grand soir and feel that they are different enough to own them all. Grand Soir has the best longevity of them all. Eternal is next. Then this one. I wil allow it to macerate a bit before I update.

I don't know how they did it but it's almost indistinguishable from OG. Yes, there are differences, this one is warmer, less spicy than OG, but honestly I prefer this. Price comparison is also an absurd. No Brainer!!! BEST DUPE OF grand soir. Save your buck and go for this.

A lovely scent. To my nose, this is the same scent as Ambre eve. I sprayed both on a blotter and myself ( left and right hands), and my family and I could not find a difference. A beautiful, cozy amber. Highly recommend for this price point.

A blind buy for myself that ended up being gifted to my boyfriend. I appreciate unisex fragrances, but this one was way too masculine on my skin. I absolutely love the scent on him though – it’s beautiful, classy, and sexy all at once!

Alright so when I opened the box I couldn't help but notice the repulsive odour radiating from it. Luckily the fragrance itself didn't smell like that so I don't know what that was about but just a heads up. Onto the fragrance, it opens up like a drawing of Grand Soir. It has some similarities but they aren't good enough to be deemed an exact clone imo. Once it stays on your skin for a bit though it definitely improves. Thick resinous vanillic notes with the amber pounding heavily. The main difference I can smell are that the lavender and musk notes are missing. It also seems like they might have been replaced with wood because I get more woods in the background of this one. It is not bad by any means though and if you love Grand Soir this could be worth looking into. This is the first clone of Grand Soir I have smelled and it has done a pretty good job but I don't think any clone will be able to perfectly match Francis Kurkdijan's creation.

This is absolutely shocked from the mail because the patchouli is LOUD. Underneath the patch I'm getting an absolutely gorgeous amber that is absolutely reminiscent of Grand Soir. Like it's fighting for its life here. This frequently happens with my bottles straight out of the mail, one note will be absolutely amped and not properly blended. I can't wait to update this in a week, I was just so excited yall. I've wanted Grand Soir for so long but I'm a single mom with only a Soir budget. The Grand gonna have to wait til my kids are grown I guess 😂😂😂

The box itself smelled so bad I had to throw it out. The perfume itself is pretty good, and the atomizer is the best I have ever seen on a perfume. It dries down beautifully, but it is cloying. I think this dna is way too simple, but it is quite good for what it is. Performance is really good too. 7,5/10

It's ok. Definitely need to sit for a while to be better. At first I didn't like it at all! After a month much better but still something I don't like in this fragrance. Not bad but not for me. Sweet vanilla and amber a lot of it...

u have to love amber to like this one - i mean i dont hate it, just ok so far. We ́ll see how it developos. The quality is supery right out of the box, the juice is strong. its unisex leans feminine but dudes can rock it too

Just came in today and initially it is faintly close to OG GS, will let it macerate and update. However this smells almost identical IMO to Sceptre Oceana by Maison Alhambra for anyone familiar with that scent.

Not as good as the original, but I would say it is 85% close. Not something I would repurchase.

Took 1 full month to macerate from sour spit smell. After that, it smells like Grand Soir when it rises from your skin, but not as as a skin scent. That is, when if wafts up to my nose, it's Grand Soir. But if I put my nose to my skin to smell it, it still has that sour, slightly dried spit smell, unlike Grand Soir, which is just dense, medicinal vanilla, which I quite enjoy. As I wear perfume for the silly joy of sniffing my own wrist, and not so much what other people might smell on me (I don't overspray to annoy strangers, and i hope they don't come so close as to smell me), this doesn't quite work for me. Still, it's fine if you just want a nice scent bubble, but if you really love Grand Soir, get Grand Soir.

I don't know if this needs to macerate first but it REALLY doesn't smell good on me. I smell like an old dusty room. Grand Soir has more of a luxurious air to it whereas this one smells very generic and plastic sugary with hectic amber notes, and super strong lavender. Would not repurchase.

It smells like a cupboard full of spices, that have stayed in this cupboard for many, many years. Dusty, almost faded and a bit sour, fleshy kind of sweetness. I can't make myself believe it resembles a classy perfume, but tastes differ, of course. Absolute "no" for me.

I just got it yesterday. Smells good, but unfortunately the performance is very bad. Maybe 2 hour on your skin. It’s a skin scent, sillage is also zero. Zara fragrances last longer than this.

one word, patience! I sprayed this 4-5 times on my arm and couldn’t smell anything first minutes. Thought it was a bad batch or just a weak dupe of the OG, MFK. But after 2-3 hours it really starts to settle. It’s very, very close to the original. Amber and vanilla are the main players here. With a little maceration this one is going to be almost to good to be this cheap.

Never smelled Grand Soir. this is pretty linear ambery/woody/sweet/pine kinda smell. To me it's mostly amber but it is gorgeous. Settles into an intimate scent fairly quickly but thats fine this is more for those intimate dates where you head back home watch a movie together and then do some cardio so the scent pops out more.

Something slightly medicinal immediately upon spraying this, but that dissipates in a matter of seconds and becomes a great spicy, woody vanilla. Haven't smelled the original so can't compare but my sister has and says it's very similar. Also randomly the atomiser on this bottle is amazing.

Cannot compare this to the original fragrance, but this smells amazing to me right out of the box. It lasted on my skin for about 10 hours. Projection is also great. I smell a lot of amber, but also incense (might be the cedarwood).

does it smell like grand soir? idk. all i can teel u is that this is a good fragrance. special occasion/date night kinda vibes. soft amber and vanilla giving u a nice and elegant scent bubble. good longevity and projection.

I already have Fragrance World Barakkat Amber Eve, which is a Grand Soir dupe released in 2022. Does anyone know the difference or why FW has 2 dupes of the same scent? Rebranding?

Better than Eternal oud, just give it at least 2 weeks.
