Suspenso

I bought the 50 ml version and I can't understand how so many people voted for its similarity to the classic Dolce & Gabbana pour homme. The fragrance has nothing to do with the vintage Dolce & Gabbana, it's probably closer to Intenso by the same brand, but I'm not familiar with that and can't comment on it. The fragrance isn't bad, to be honest; in fact, it surprised me quite a bit, but I was hoping to find a clone of the now untraceable '94 gem, and I was completely misled by the votes. I don't know why, but for some reason it reminds me of Alexandria II by Xerjoff. Obviously I'm not saying they're the same. I need to study it more.

Nose Note #675 I've smelled the OG in a store and I remember it to be completely different from this, but I have to compare them side by side. So I'll update. This smells like Rossendo Mateau #5, but more manly. All I smell is this play-doh ambery scent with what sometimes in fragrances is supposed to be tobacco. I have very mixed feelings about this and I was really excited to try this which only made matters worse. Very strong, very pushing, very brutal kind of scent. Upd.: Well, I guess I'm the only one around that thinks this smells like play-doh. My wife likes it more than I do - that's a surprise. Upd: Run out of the 50ml bottle I've had. Terrible performance, absolutely nonexistent... 6/10, I have to give it more time. So far it feels like an acquired taste fragrance Upd: 5.8/10, that's the verdict. Scent is okay, I got used to it. It has almost nothing to do with the OG. The performance is just so bad, one of the worst I've ever had. Many from Fragrance World are similar, Abraaj Viking, Harmony Code, some others too
