Inis Arose

This is truly lovely. I blind bought it from QVC and am SO glad that I did it. My signature scent is Chloe New, so I do love floral soapy types of scents. Not soapy like a bar of soap or handwash smell, but the clean vibrant fresh out of shower crisp smell. This perfume becomes more and more beautifully soapy as the drydown continues. The initial spray smells like any basic floral (for 10 seconds) and then it transforms into a rosey true rose oil smell type of scent, then gets sweet but not cloying, and then you start to smell the soapy fresh note (not sure what it is). It is so good for summer that I do believe I am going back on QVC to order a second before they run out. I feel like this is the best kept secret in perfumery. I know that I passed it over for a year before finally taking the plunge. It is worth so much more than what they are asking for retail. Seriously long lasting for a light airy smell, and the projection is exactly on point. You will smell this within arms length and I do believe it will leave a faint trail of awesomeness.

This truly does leave everything "smelling of roses", and that's why I love it. I have and love many fragrances, but this is absolutely my signature scent. It's perfect for a date, whether with someone new or a familiar love. Literally every man who has ever dated me has gone out of his way to compliment me on this scent. The guy I liked most even told me he "kept smelling his jacket" after he kissed me while I wore this scent. It's not really mass-marketed (i. e., you can't buy it in department or mall stores, at least not here in the U. S.), so it's also a bit more unique. My one gripe is that Fragrances of Ireland discontinued the accompanying body lotion. I really wish they would bring it back, as mine ran out a few years ago and I haven't found a scent on par with this one as far as romantic and fresh.

My nan just came back from visiting my sister in Ireland and brought a bottle of this back with her (and one for my mum). She absolutely loved Inis, and offered me to test Inis Arose. I never thought I'd be big on florals, but this is just so beautiful. I've always adored roses, and now maybe it's time for me to start wearing rose scents. It's the kind of fragrance that doesn't have an age limit; it's gorgeous on my nan, my mum, and now me.

I loved this fragrance and think I need to add it to my collection again. I bought it on a trip to Ireland with my family and whenever I smell it I'm transported back to very fond memories of my time there. Best vacation buy I've ever made!
