Rich and smooth, this beautiful iris and suede fragrance just transports me to a happy place. Soft florals and a sensual vanilla complete the picture. I think this could be worn three seasons of the year, but it might not work in really hot weather. Longevity and projection are insane. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Such a beautiful, uplifting fragrance. Soft powdery suede, with amazing floral (I guess its narcissus) touch. Love it. Sad that I only have a decant, would love to own a full bottle of this beauty.

Had a bottle but sold it promptly. I didn't find this to be about iris or leather at all, it was mostly white florals and violets with a honey-labdanum drydown and soft lambskin leather. Poorly marketed fragrance.

Cuir Soyeux is a hauntingly beautiful iris leather fragrance. Picture yourself driving in a beautiful picturesque countryside filled with endless fields of iris flowers, narcissus and magnolia. This heavenly smell seems to amalgamate with the silky smooth beautiful leather jacket you are wearing. After a few more minutes driving down this beautiful sun filled road, you start to smell the sun filled hay that lays in the fields, and after a long nice drive it’s time to take a short walk and settle down in a quite place to sink in the beautiful view of the flower fields. As you lay your leather jacket on the inviting green grass you pull out a Madagascar bourbon vanilla bean out of your shirt pocket to mix with your beverage, creating a creamy vanilla hay like smell that completes a full olfactory journey around you from the flower fields, the leather jacket and the vanilla bourbon bean. This is how I picture this truly mesmerizing fragrance that lasts for hours on your skin, sometimes throwing a whiff of iris or a whiff of hay whilst the silky leather note wraps smoothly around your skin. Francesca Bianchi is a genius she is able to take your senses to another world. Her creations are unlike anything I have ever experienced in a fragrance and Cuir Soyeux is my teleportation fragrance to take me to the happiest place on earth in any season on any day. Cuir Soyeux is simply an outstanding feel good fragrance. It is a masterpiece of comfort and joy. Longevity 10/10 Sillage 9/10 Versatility 10/10
