At first I was pleasantly impressed - bihaku has incense, juniper, sichuan pepper, cardamom - all my fav notes! At first I was blown away by beautiful coniferous character. But!!! Today is hot and humid day, and Bihaku showed me a whispering solo of Amberwood note (ethyl maltol), the same note as in Baccarat Rouge. For my nose it was a sad surprise, so I could suggest this as a blind buy only if you find Baccarat Rouge a pleasant fragrance.

The juniper and pepper are really nice here. But unfortunately thats about it for me. Heavy conifer notes right at the top running all the way through the profile. Very artifical, like this one specific christmas candle I used to have. It never failed to induce a headache when lit. There is more incense than smoke here. Fairly naturalistic, but theres something sweet in the body of this perfume that adds a medicinal and slightly nauseating twist. Maybe the cardamom. Little tobacco on me- mostly pine, incense, pepper, juniper and cardamom. Unisex, all season.
