Vanille 12:00

This is one of the more beautiful vanillas that have been released as of late. I would describe Vanille 12:00 as being gourmand adjacent vs. being a full on gourmand as the notes suggest. I would not eat something that smelled like Vanille 12:00 nor does it remind me of a vanilla-based dessert, so those looking for a true photorealistic gourmand vanilla will likely be left disappointed. The sweetened florals and the slight spice of the tonka come through the most here to give the vanilla a nice dimension. Vanille 12:00 actually reminds me of a sweeter, less spiced, more playful version of Coty Encore en Fois. Not an dead ringer obviously, but the two have striking similarities in the quality of the vanilla used, and the airy yet dense sillage. Overall I am happy with the performance. I sprayed 3 sprays around my neck area at approximately 8:00am and I am still getting beautiful whiffs 5 hours later. During the first 4 hours the projection was the strongest, almost to the point where I felt a little overwhelmed with it (I will probably redistribute and spray less around my neck area). I would also not pick this were I to spend the day in air-tight spaces. If any reviewers are complaining about performance, they are more than likely experiencing anosmia as this is actually a pretty strong vanilla. Safe blind buy if you cannot get your nose on a sample of it. I love Vanille 12:00 so much so that I would consider buying a second bottle.

Francesca dell'Oro Vanille 12:00 smells like homemade vanilla ice cream along with fresh cannolis stuffed with churned vanilla cream that is topped with the ice cream. The aroma of the sweet, soft-crunchy encasing/crust is apparent in here and delicious. Very long lasting at 7+ hours with really good projection in my skin. When I was testing, I was literally eating one of the best dessert from this Italian restaurant. The best vanilla cream cannolis in my life and a "cannoli cake" that was a vanilla cake layered with vanilla-chocolate chip cannoli filling or frosting, topped with crumbled pistachios, and side-crusted with chocolate sauce with chocolate chips. Vanille 12:00 didn't smell like all that other stuff, but I did get similarities with direct comparison from the plain vanilla cake parts and the not-too-heavy vanilla-cream cannoli filling. And every time I've ordered lol.

I love this fragrance. This is a light and airy fruity, sweet vanilla. I mostly get the fruits in the opening with a creamy undertone that slowly gets stronger. She is here for a good time, not a long time. The scent stays light and airy, with moderate projection for the first 2 hours, then becoming more of a skin scent for another 2-3 hours on skin. 8 hours on clothes just don’t spray on white it turns it yellow 😩. Good longevity - not the strongest projection, but IMO worth it for the beautiful scent. I have gotten a compliment in a coffee shop, where there's already a strong smell, while wearing this, so I may be go anosmic and it's stronger than I think. Def worth a try a favorite spring/summer pick for me!

I’m surprised this doesn’t have almond or heliotrope. It gives the same play doh like vibe that hypnotic poison does but mixed with a very straight forward yummy vanilla dessert. It reminds me of something but I can’t pinpoint what, it does smell a bit similar to Pacifica Island Vanilla or Burberry Goddess but without the lavender. It’s very feminine, pretty and a bit calming almost. Updated to add: Wore this to work today and received 3 compliments in the span of an hour. This is unheard of for me. This has amazing sillage also.

This is my favorite release of all perfumes this year. The notes just work very very well on my skin and they smell different every time the weather changes from warm to cool or vice versa. It's an easy reach and very very sexy.

Vanille 12:00 is made beautifully. I f you are checking all those delicious notes you could think that the scent is thick, sticky sweet and maybe cloying. Instead of that it's sophisticated and classy. It's utterly harmonious cocktail of gourmand notes which are never suffocating nor disturbing. It's somewhat transparent and bright but potent enough to project in a way that people around you notice the scent but it's not screaming and fill all the room. The concoction is well blended and I don't detect all the notes separately. Some which I detect are Pear, Vanilla, Cream and Caramel. There are so many notes in this scent which could be terribly synthetic but they are not. They are attractive, seductive, naturally sweet, and delicious instead. it is the mix of fruity and many general gourmand notes. This whole gourmand category is not my style at all. It just got my interest lately and I have been trying to find gourmands which are elegant enough instead of girly juvenile style. This is a great choice even if it's one of the sweetest ones and I'm sure it will have a wide audience thanks to its versatile and crowd pleasing aroma. For me it takes a little bit time to get used to this kind of sweetness since I don't have so many of them. My sweetest perfume is Love Don't Be Shy and it's totally different kind of style than Vanille 12:00. This review is based on a sample. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. Beautiful. It gets better as it sits on the skin and it lasts 8+ hours on me. A very delicious sweet and fruity vanilla fragrance. I do not get any play-dough from it, thank God, and it's not too powdery on me. I really like it, this might turn into a love the more I wear it...

This is a vanilla with layers; such a pretty, smooth scent. It's what I wish Profumo di Firenze's Buontalenti were. It projects well and is very pleasant.

Light, sweet, and airy. Very beautiful and smooth with no bad notes at all. I originally thought 08:00 would be the one, but 12:00 surprised me—in the best way. Unfortunately, it didn’t pass the skin test either. Not for me, but not a bad scent overall. Just didn’t click.

I just smell vanilla no other notes. Longevity is okay.

When sampling perfumes, I normally dab some on my wrists and check in throughout the day. Upon initial dab, I was pleasantly surprised with a bright, fruity mandarin that I got too far ahead of myself and dabbed a bit extra, even putting it on my neck. About 30 minutes later I realized my mistake. The fruitiness went away, and the powder started kicking in. I'm two hours in now, and all I can smell is powder. I ran to the notes (I like to go in blind and try to guess them) and I found the culprit - freesia. You'd think when surrounded by all the other notes the freesia wouldn't be some prominent. Boy was I wrong. My nose is being assaulted. Someone said baby wipes and that is spot on. I'm really hoping the macaron or caramel helps balance it out in the dry down. Either way, for now, I will go on smelling like I just wiped a babys bum.

I like sweet, gourmand, vanilla and tonka notes in my perfumes but this is very ordinary. Nothing special, probably exaggerated by the retailers.

Dries down to baby wipes, smells really weird on me

Boozy, screechy vanilla extract. Creamy. Then, tonka, some caramel, and macaroon. I get absolutely no fruits or florals, just a touch of overripeness. An overwhelming vanilla that is mostly alcohol. Headache inducing cheap vanilla.

Absolutely not. No, thank you. There's something sticky and tar-like in here, I immediately scrubbed it, but it persists. Bitter and toxic.

If Novae Vanilla from Atelier des Ors was 274858 times sweeter and fruity. I usually don’t love scents with a blend of different fruits because they tend to be obnoxious on me but they are very well blended here and create an ombré effect of fruit instead of a mishmash. I read there are 3-4 types of vanillas in this??? And they all smell very sweet and borderline crowd pleasing designer perfume-esque. The florals didn’t project on me. This is a very very long lasting fragrance, it’s beautiful but a tad bit too sweet for me or maybe I should have applied it lightly. If you love sweet slightly fruity vanillas, this is perfect for you.

I got a sample from 50-ml.eu and love love love this one. Caramelly, but not sickly sweet or burnt, with hints of fruit, florals/rose on my skin. Not a beast mode frag with the craziest sillage, but would be too much if it was. People can smell it though if in proximity. Looks heavy from the notes but is not as heavy as it looks. I would wear this year round. Going on my to buy list! Looking forward to trying the other 5 samples from this house that I got. Edit 20251024 Will most likely buy a full bottle of this sometime soon.

This is a high noon summer vanilla scent post pool or beach. You are sitting at a tiki bar in your swimsuit having a tropical drink. There is the smell of very chic suntan oil combined with some vanilla lotion just slathered on top for lunch. This isn't a "tropical" fruity type of smell per se but there is definitely a coconut effect. It is a sol de janeiro type of DNA in the chicest way possible. Smooth vanilla, touch of fruit, touch of flowers, and caramel. If you are a vanilla person this is worth checking out for summer.

This is beautiful. I prefer it to vanilla 8 and makes me excited to try others from the brand. It smells divine and interesting, not similar to any other scent in my collection. Its fruity but the fruits are like ripe figs or dates dried in the sun. I know the notes say mandarin and pear etc but i do not get that. These perfums are so well blended, hard to dissect individual notes but to me it smells like dried sweet fruit drenches into vanilla syrup. Its fun, playful, happy. Love for me

This is absolutely beautiful. The way the vanilla, apple, peach and whipped cream meld together is just perfection . It’s both the coziest, but also somewhat of a fresh vanilla gourmand. I could see myself wearing this in every season except the hottest summer days. I have a collection of over 80 fragrances, and this has landed in my top 5. I’m smelling this on my arm as I type this, and I’m in love.

This is a really pretty fragrance! It’s definitely not as gourmand as the notes make it seem. But still pretty sweet. I thought this would be too gourmand for me but I ended up buying a full bottle after using my sample! It reminds me of Mon exclusif, but add more sweetness, less lavender. Performance and strength is really good. I actually kind of wish it was a little lighter.

Bought a sample based on the notes - very glad I didn’t purchase a bottle. This is a beast mode fragrance and what I smell most is over-ripe fruit dipped in too-strong Carmel. A miss for me, but learning I may just be averse to Carmel smells in perfumes.

I get a very nice lightly sweet opening and then it changes into something spicy I really can't understand it. Maybe it is the cedar. I am not enjoying this. This was a blind buy for me so I would recommend testing before committing to a full bottle.

Someone whose opinion I respect recommended this so I thought I'd give it a try. Oh no. It is very cheap smelling, like some sort of lightly fruit-scented toy from the dollar store. noooo thanks.
