Vanille 24:00

Finally a truly original scent! Floral, vanillic, balsamic and a little bit skanky- there’s also a vintage aspect in the powdery base. I feel like this is something Madame Pompadour would have worn! I can’t think of anything similar. I imagine the ratings are low because this not what customers expect from a vanilla perfume. I think it’s mesmerizing.

This perfume starts in a rush of balsamic peppery fire. It’s pretty impressive and also a little weird. All the peppers and the Cade combine to create heat and pungency, that is offset by a resiny balsamic quality I assume is coming from the vanilla, and possibly immortelle. It’s an unusual combo and very interesting. Definitely not boring. Perhaps this is the same idea that makes hot honey good. Anyway, in about an hour the heat almost, but not quite completely, recedes, and the more typical qualities of vanilla: sweetness and a powdery creaminess, come forward. They are kept to an absolute minimum though. This is not a very vanilla-y perfume, and the vanilla that it does have is not really a gourmand type of vanilla. At this stage it’s more about the gorgeous florals that exist just at the level of awareness. They are extremely restrained, but they do stick around a long time, at least 7 hours. I’m not familiar with cactus ghost flower but it seems musky, powdery, and spicy. Very pretty and to me reminiscent of Iris. There’s also more powder from violet and this gives the perfume a tactile feel. It’s in keeping with the brand’s brief for this perfume as an after hours sensual vanilla. There’s some gently innocuous wood underneath the florals and the vanilla but it’s more as a base than anything else. I just have a 2 ml dabber of this, I want to get a larger spray decant so I can really apply it and get past its reserve (not the top there’s nothing reserved about that). This is a very interesting perfume and definitely worth a sample.

Again, all the hate ratings from people who have not even tried the perfume 🙄 ...this is a well-done fragrance but definitely more masculine-leaning. It's an aromatic woody vanilla... Definitely a cold-weather niche banger for a man. Would love to smell on my man.

Vanille 24 was one of the perfumes I immediately wanted to try after reading about it, thanks to Fragrantica authors. For me this is a kind of "blast from the past" fragrance reminding of oh so many florientals from the late 80's, from Yves Rocher Orchidee/ Nuit d'Orchidee to Cacharel LouLou and even Dior Poison. If you love florientals then you should give it a try. Even if Vanille 24 reminds me a lot of vintage scents (also with its color!) but it sounds quite modern. It's fresh and sensual, with a soft powdery vanilla nicely blended with floral and spicy notes. The scent leans feminine, to my taste. On my skin after a couple of hours it becomes close to the skin. The sample is enough for me.

Maybe the scent is trying to mix the vanilla with other scents to make 24:00 more complex. But that's why the vanilla is less prominent, but after drydown it becomes extremely ordinary. And the scent dries down quite quickly, only about 20 minutes the scent changes and gradually disappears.

I don't get it... It starts with a hit of strong, not sweet mono vanilla. And I would like it to remain like that, but it doesn't—in a matter of minutes, it turns into some plastic and pseudo-flowery smell without any consistent specifics. Only during the last hour of this scent's life, you may be lucky enough to sense a distant warm vanilla smell. However, I should admit this perfume is quite long lasting which was surprising. Also, the perfume's juice is really dark and can leave stains easily.

Absolutely exquisite! I sampled this before bed and couldn't sleep because the smell was so complex and intoxicating. This is a respite from your tired, boring sweet vanilla, which I enjoy, don't get me wrong. This has so many wonderful facets from the resinous deep vanilla to a bit of spice, a bit of powdery floral, but it is blended so perfectly that it really is hard to detect any notes dominating the composition in the nuance of it all. I experienced all of this from a tiny dabber no less. Performance appears outstanding as well. Many warm vanilla in this category hint at fall or winter with their spicy notes but I feel the light florals give it the ability to wear year round if the heat isn't sweltering. I see this marketed as a sexy date night kind of thing but I would wear this anytime. It is just so gorgeous.

A more flowery Vanilla than 18:00. But too flowery , not enough layers for me. Once again i can't smell, taste , visualize the masterpiece i see in the notes at all. No cardamom, no black pepper , no balsam, no styrax etc.. It wears mature. Flowery Elegant Mature Vanilla. Didn't purchase or love sadly.

The scent of the hot devil from hell! The smell of a bollard sign, the kind that says "I'll bring your love back in 5 days" (BRAZIL) A mix of Xeryus Rouge Givenchy and Shalimar. Work of art 9/10

Plasticky smoke, soft vanilla resin and screamwood. Fail.
