I am in LOVE with this perfume. It is not the most natural but It is very nice. Sweet flowers in an almost gourmand way. Iris and Violet with loads of sugar! And a very good vanilla un the back. It seems a bit synthetic and that's what makes me doubt about buying It or not but i feel that i am just delicious wearing It. The longevity is just amazing. I went to bed and the Next day i could still feel It on my wrists. And the better is that i have never tried anything similar... My favourite from the black collection! I agree that the combination is a bit weird, but for me it's still pleasant, and strangely niche (if that makes any sense hahaha). It opens sour and citrusy, but the sweetness of the musk and the powderyness of the iris appear as the background right from the beginning. The fruits come out to play next while the sourness getting subdued until the fruits become the main singer and citrus, iris and musk keep singing as backing vocal throughout the life of the fragrance.

Yes, this is truly an odd fragrance but intriguing just the same. I would not describe it as "powdery", more like "waxy" which is the effect of the iris/violet. After an hour or so, that cloud lifts and and a tangy fruit salad emerges. I liked this one better and better the longer I wore it. Don't immediately scrub, you may be pleasantly surprised if you give it a chance.

LOVE IT. Citrus/exotic fruit done in a totally different concept- that is the major player to my nose - then (I agree with OTA Mom) a little more waxy than powdery floral combo. It smells similar to chewy sweethearts or more so Spree candy. Playful yet not juvenile - it is definitely a happy fragrance with moxie. Unquestionably different but not in a weirdo way. :)

I was shocked at how much I despise this one! It was so disgusting to me. I forgot to leave a review as I sampled it, so I can't recall what was so gross about it, but I remember having to wash it off immediately! I have samples most of the Perfumes by thus brand, and possess 8 of them. This is the only one that disgusts me so far.

Icon captures, while by mellowing and at the same time amplifying, that oly, milky fruity weirdness that Histoires de Parfums 1969 and Etra feature. If you are patricularly fond of any of those perfumes it's worth trying Icon, as well as Franck Boclet's Tobacco. The high concentration made me gag upon sniffing too close and too soon, so, try a little and wait for it to settle. It's very potent, so a little goes a long way. I'm not sure what to think of it after those first impressions and I don't own any of these perfumes I mentioned because I don't know how and when to wear them. Let's see if Icon will be the one to fill that gap. Update: Nope! Not working for me.

This is a strange creation. It opens with a strong carrot note (iris), and turns into a hysterically sweet pink bubblegum smell. The sweetness in this is just too much for me. It's agressive and shrill, and it lasts forever. It feels like they've added 50% white, refined sugar and 50% artificial sweetener - and both are trying to overpower the other. It's like the battle of sugars in a bottle. Icon is definitely original and unique, but not my cup of tea. This is a strong fragrance, but it eventually dries down to a medium strength. Longevity is solid. I get well over 6 hours out of this.

This is a weird combination for my nose. The initial powdery blast of iris and violet melts with some pop-culture technicolor fruit. The effect is first metal with fruity bubble gum. Then after a while it transforms into a fruity soap. Maybe it's my skin or my nose (or both), but it is a very strange composition and not my cup of tea.

Beautiful and strange, resembles absolutely nothing else I own! As a well seasoned collector I did not image to be able to feel easily surprised by any scent. This however, is something else. It starts with a citrusy fruity flavour that is somewhat soapy and green at the same time. I can't say I loved the first sniff. Within minutes it starts to change. The fruits become sweets, still green, but the soapiness goes away. The vanilla and marshmallows come and join the greens and the fruits. Something like candied violets give a soft powdery feel. The only flower I can sense it carnation, but without the typical cardamon spice that usually accompanies carnation. Sweetness becomes stronger as the base notes take over. The drydown is clean gourmand. Overall, impressive in its originality as well as performance, lasts a few hours on skin and longer on clothes. This is my second Fanck Boklet I own. My first was Blue Moon, which equally impressive, and that one lasts for days. I would love to get my hands on more bottles from this brand, as it is the best discovery for me for the entire 2020. Well, Carner Barcelona is also good, but this is more wearable and appealing despite its strangeness. Try before you buy, unless you love blind surprises like I do . Gorgeous.

I love the review that says Icon resembles Spree Candy. Chewy sweet tarts is spot on, but an appealing sweet tart fragrance. Like most of Boclet's fragrances, this is sexy, but not overly sexual like Boclet's Cocaine. I enjoy the smell, but would say this fits a metrosexual man type or woman. Beautiful sweet tart perfume. The opening is awesome, the drydown is more on the pretty and sweeter side.

As much as I like its originality, it just smells like a cough sirup my mother was giving me as a child.
