Jasmin

Once again the name of the perfume confuses me.... Either I've never smelled this kind of jasmine, or there never be any jasmine that smells quite like this. Name aside, i think this offering from Franck Boclet is a wonderful juice. Though it won't be for anybody, because it is animalic leather jasmin (if it ever present). And the animalic note is retained throughout the life of the perfume, so if you're expecting white and innocent floral perfume, you will definitely be disappointed. It is red and sultry jasmine, or i just can imagine a woman/man in a red sexy japanese costume wearing this. The perfume has a moderate to heavy silage, and radiates about 6 hours before turning into skin scent.

I'm reading the comments while sniffing this of my arm. Most of the people are mentioning "animalic" and being a jasmin centric scent I was expecting that great indolic jasmin. In the opening I can clearly get the coriander with that I can swear is carnation, both are getting spiced up by the pepper. Than rose and more rose and a lot more rose. This blend is....sprayed with jasmin but at any time this does not become a clear jasmin scent. It's more of an abstract jasmin. After 2-3h it gets some hints of leather but it's not animalic. It's a soft, tamed leather that just whispers through that mix of musky spicy florals, alas...no animalics. Not on my skin, anyway. I wished it had them but I don't get any. Not in the first minutes, not after 4-5h. Now that being said, it's a gourgeous scent. I only think some civet would have made it better. Got it for less than 40 EUR so it's definately worth it. Longevity, 4-5, maybe 6h, sillage is great for half that time.

I don't understand what you don't like about it, it's a very bold perfume. It reminds me of old-style chypres. Even more voluptuous than Paloma Picasso and Diva :) Jasmine is already an indolic scent, we see how it can get even dirtier. Again, as in the old times, geranium and rose are here. Oakmoss would have been perfect, but it is not there. Jasmine stands out in every way and is a perfume worthy of its name.

Bazı parfumlere üzülürüm. Çünkü "harika" olmaya çok yaklaşırken sanki başka yola sapmislardir. Ilk 2-3 dakika sanki harika bir yasemin ile oldukça yumuşak bir tütün karışımı gibi giderken 3 dakika sonrasında "hiçbir şey" oluyor. Parfüm aynı zamanda zayıf olduğu için pek söyleyecek birseyi de kalmıyor.

In the sillage I get a sour jasmine-ylang combo, but when I sniff close to my skin there's a spicy, very animalic leather with an ashy undertone. The perfume it reminds me the most is Emper's Ilang 62

It is a dirty and animalic interpretation of jasmin, and while I prefer the more feminine use of this flower, I appreciate how sensual and ambitious this one is, it indeed reminds me of Agent Provocateur a bit, similar bitch boss vibe
