Eau de Passion Intense

Mint, Mandarin, Cloves, Amber, Moss. All very balanced. It's as if it skipped the middle notes, I can't really smell the "Green". It's very Creamy-Soapy-Elegant, opens Fresh and Sweet, drydown is Ambery and Woody. It makes this fragrance very versatile, for any situation except maybe a night club. A bit too heavy on the Cloves and light on the Mint, which makes the fragrance a bit "gay"

The people reviewing this probably had the non-intense version in mind. Also the reviews are completely delusional. This is very close to Platinum Egoiste , lasts 6-8 hours. Prominent pink pepper and geranium, nothing laundry about it. Basically the same as ARMAF Legesi Homme.

This is a good one! I don't know how PDM Percival smells but this a nice, fresh, clean, green smell that lasts a long time. Definitely hot weather cologne. I'll be spraying it on right out of the shower tonight. Blind buy worthy!!!👍👍👍

Smells like Platinum Egoiste with a dash of crème de menthe. Very fresh, a touch spicy & aromatic, very clean. Projects well off the skin, best in the warm and/or hot months.

This is FIRE. It is super powdery and soapy. I also get a creamy mint. The Geranium pops also. I am writing this review after just ordering a back up bottle. I love this!

Survives shower. I love it, it became my most favorite fragrance of all time.

As soon as I smelled this the strong, soapiness of the Cloves, Vetiver and Oakmoss immediately reminded me of Perry Ellis Portfolio Elite. Franck Olivier Eau De Passion Intense has much better ingredients but as Chypres go the opening is still too strong and almost pungent for my taste. That said, whenever I get a new fragrance I always give it a decent testing. I decided to wear this today (a second wearing) and this time I am starting to appreciate it better. After 1 hour the soapiness drops back slightly to allow the other ingredients to step forward and take the limelight. This is by no means a niche fragrance but with it being EDP concentrate its strength is clearly evident. The scent trail is the most appealing aspect to this fragrance. Each time you catch it you notice something slightly different.....dry citrus (Orange, Lemon, Bergamot)....then Mint which seems to sit on top of the Cloves. Then there is this masculine spiciness in the base that I guess must be the Cloves meeting the Oakmoss and Vetiver. This is what holds on to the hint of old school barber shop spicy, soapiness to my nose but alongside the other ingredients (Citruses, Mint, Amber) it remains more up to date and also avoids falling into any particular season. I could see myself wearing this anytime of the year although it is definitely a daytime scent - not for romantic settings or clubbing. Better for office or smart casual occasions. Soapy scents usually send me running in the opposite direction but Eau De Passion Intense is an exception. Yes it is soapy but has other qualities besides. On the whole I do like it and will keep my 75ml bottle - which, I hasten to add I snapped up for under £20. Baaaargain. :o)

It's a clean and uplifting blend of citrus, herbal, spicy and powder aroma. The citrus opening is strong and the drydown is clean and soapy. Performance is good, a welcome return to form after Pure Addiction which was a weak performer. This is a good performer and a great value at its price. It gives designer level quality for discounter price. The bottle presentation is beautiful as well. It's not unisex because of the aromatic fougere notes and has a lot of competition in the blue "freshie" arena. This is an underrated and overlooked gem that should really be given a chance by those who love freshies and fougeres.

#996 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is freshie-fruity day wear for summer, light-hearted, fun, and really immature. Moderate performance. Makes it to lunch unless you're out in the wind. Utterly inoffensive casual wear. There are many like this, though mostly EDTs and colognes that don't have this performance. Three citruses is overkill to my nose and keeps this from being a legit fougere in the opening, but the unnecessary juicy mandarin note does fade out quickly and the scent gets mossier and improves a lot. At around $25 it's a no brainer blind buy. Just give it fifteen minutes before you judge it. And it you really want to blow their mind, layer this with Franck Olivier Sun Royal Oud! It's not in the database but it damn sure should be!

Yikes, a lot of the comparisons here are way off. I've never smelled Percival but this is nowhere near Cool Water or Wings (thank god). It's a fresh spicy fragrance that I suppose could be referred to as soapy, but IMO it's got far too much "kick" to it for such a label. The moss and clove notes are the strongest to my nose, giving the fragrance as very masculine backbone. Don't be fooled by all the citrus notes listed in the opening; this is not a citrus bomb by any means. It's also more potent than the price point would suggest; 2-3 sprays is more than enough for this one. I'll add more thoughts as I wear it. For now it's a "like."

Musky mint with some spice and lavender. This is really good and for $25 it's a steal. It smells like a well put together man with a yacht and a mansion. Super manly but also fresh and clean, this surprised me.

A typical Franck Olivier. Very pleasant smelling, fresh with a bit of musk, all around versatility, but weak. At its price there’s no regret. A safe grab.

All I smell is pickle 🥒 worst blind buy ever

Some people compare this perfume to Parfums De Marly Percival. I never smelled Percival so I can not comment, but I own Chanel Platinum Egoiste and I can tell you that they are in the same vein. Not bad for a $20-25 range fragrance. I literally sprayed both on each hand so could write this review. The main differences are: PE Chanel has a stronger opening with more well define floral notes - as they dry down they become closer but PE Chanel projects a bit better off the skin. This is a very unique smell for grown ups - no bubble gum fan will like this smell - I really enjoy the smell of this fragrance and for the price it is a no brainier.

This captures the spirit of the mountain. Crisp, woodsy and resolute. It's just naturally there, unwavering, airily surrounding you. This is an all year round, wear it anywhere anytime fragrance. It doesn't wow me but it just sits there and does not obstruct. I have better smelling fragrances but I keep coming back to this because of how easy and simple this is to wear Also for those saying this is a clone of Percival, it's actually the opposite way around. FO is the OG. The PDM clone came a year after. Honestly, this is an underrated hidden gem

Frech clean scent . Smells exactly like tide powder laundry soap . Great for home or gym . I really would not wear this on a date or hangout EDIT AFTER DAYS OF TESTING: I don't recommend it , boring smell and exactly like tide. Im using this perfume only for gym Scent 5/10 not bad and not great Performance for the price 7,5/10

@NiceNiffs: Eau de Passion Men Intense isn't a Chypre. It's a fougere. Most chypres have dominant floral notes at the heart (specifically Rose) and a base with Patchoulis. Fougeres have citrusy vibes at the opening with lavender and the heart and possibly oakmoss at the base.

I don’t know what Perceval PDM smells like But this definitely smells 70% similar to David off Cool water, I don’t know why people compare it to Fierce A&F

I agree with one of the reviewer's thoughts below. All I get is laundry with this. I don't see the Percival reference at all.

Being that Percival came out after this, Percival is the true clone of this.

It's clone of Parfums De Marly Percival. Nice Longevity (6-7h) and sillage
